Your bidding on a 84' Porsche 944 that I have owned now for over 10 years. I used the car a lot the first 3 years then the clutch started giving me problems. I then put a new clutch in it. The clutch now has somewhere around 5000 miles on it, if that. New timing belt and water pump. It was replaced a couple years ago, but i don't think it has more than 4k miles on it, since I actually put the car in the garage and decided to restore it. Other things came first, so the car just sat in the garage. Last year I started restoring the whole car and did some personal custom work to it as you can see in the pics. It has molded in front nose, side skirts and rear bumper, 2010 911 18-inch wheels (just those costed me 1000 dollars). It has the 924 Turbo hood and the front valence. Also it has the rear turbo spoiler that goes under the bumper. The whole front end was rebuilt with new bushings, new idle arms, the whole 9 yards. The car is also lowered in the front by an inch and 3 quarters of an inch in the back. It has a new short shifter. Also the shifter inside the cabinet is new with the shifter boot. I have the custom headlights for it as you can see in the pics, with custom LED lights. Also, the interior lights are all changed to LEDs, but I have the original lights incase you don't like the look. New seats (also have the original ones). The brace bar that goes behind the seats for your harness is also included (not painted just in primer, see pic). Plus a lot more new interior parts (Too much to list off the top of my head). All new silicone vacuum hoses. Fuel injection seals plus so much more. The computer was updated from an 86' with a mass air flow.
The starter was just rebuilt, and it even has a new battery with it. There is a lot of extra parts, so you will probably need a pick-up truck to bring them all back. These parts range from an extra 5-speed transmission to tail lights, a hatch, wheels, you name it, I probably have it, and it all goes with the car, so make sure to bring a pick-up truck just for these parts. I also have all the parts to complete the car, such as new door seals (uninstalled). i put a lot of money into this car, i know I am never going to get what i put into it. The car was going to be painted 2011 911' GTR orange which I already painted the interior with. I was going to paint the car this year, but I'm going through a divorce right now so I need the car gone. I guess life takes an unexpected turn. All of the replacement parts that i mentioned above have the receipts to prove it, plus a lot more receipts to show. The car runs and drives. You may want to change the motor oil and maybe antifreeze, but i just changed the transmission fluid with purple synthetic.Just hit me up if you have any other questions, i know I'm forgetting a lot, but its difficult to remember everything off the top of my head. You are welcome to come and see the car in person anytime after 6.

Porsche Cayman S and Caterham 7 go head to head on the drag strip
Fri, 27 Jun 2014We recently saw the standard Porsche Cayman go up against a Subaru WRX STI in a one-mile drag race with surprising results. Apparently, Evo had a similar idea of evaluating the Cayman's quickness. However, it opted for the more powerful S model and chose a flyweight Caterham Roadsport 140 as the challenger. Will the results of this battle be as close at the end of the kilometer-long (0.62-mile) drag?
Neither of these are cars you'd usually associate with drag racing, but they are nearly evenly matched. Evo selected them based on power-to-weight ratio, with the Caterham offering a scant 140 horsepower in a lithe 1,213-pound package. The Porsche is a quite svelte 2,910 pounds but has 325 hp to haul it around.
Of course, power-to-weight ratio isn't everything. There are a ton of other variables like aerodynamics and gearing that play a huge role, as well. Can the little Caterham's weight advantage overcome the better aero and additional power of the Porsche? Scroll down watch the video and find out.

Remembering Porsche's illustrious Le Mans history
Fri, 13 Jun 2014Not only does this weekend mark the running of the 82nd 24 Hours of Le Mans, it will also see the return of one of the race's most venerable brands to the top tiers of endurance racing. Porsche will campaign its first top-flight car since the 1998 911 GT1-98, the 919 Hybrid, at this weekend's race, in the hopes of knocking off its corporate rival, the dominant Audi team.
To understand just what a win for the 919 would mean, though, you need to look back on the intrinsic connection between the Circuit de la Sarthe and Porsche. It's a history that spans decades, dating back to the team's first win in 1970.
