"One Family Owned, 100% Fully Documented and Original Paint – 15,624 Miles!"Call Jeff at 616-881-2429 Forever Alter Your Standard of Performance ~ It was the year 1973 when Porsche unveiled its soon to be produced 911 Carrera Turbo to the public at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The wider body and curvaceous hips were similar to the newly introduced Carrera RS 3.0, but the badging along with the aggressive rear spoiler made it clear that Porsche was introducing a completely new animal. The introduction of the Turbo would develop yet another Porsche tradition. Simply known as the Turbo, the car was released in the spring of 1975 and with great anticipation and much fanfare introduced to the US market in 1976. When introduced, the car featured a 3.0 liter turbocharged flat six producing 0-60 times in under 5 seconds. In 1978, Porsche upgraded the engine to 3.3 liters and added an intercooler boosting the performance to 300 hp and top speeds at 165 mph making it the fastest car available for the US market. No other car of that time captured the attention of the automotive press and not enough could be written of the brutal performance and the sheer beauty that the car had to offer. The one family owned, 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo offered here is nothing less than astonishing. The car was purchased new from Jess Jones Porsche Audi of West New York, NJ, where the original owner paid a 15000.00 dollar premium over the MSRP to get his hands on this super car. With standard appointments such as: all leather interior, alloy wheels, fog lights, intermittent wipers, power mirrors, power windows, fog lights, quartz clock, air conditioning, automatic heat control, 4 wheel ventilated disc brakes, reclining seats etc. these cars came highly optioned standard. This 930 was also ordered with desirable limited slip differential, heated outside mirrors and electric sliding roof. The car remained in the caring hands of the original owner until his passing in 2002 where ownership transferred to his grandson where the same care and appreciation for the car continued. Today at just 15624 documented miles, the car remains outstanding original. With the exception of an upgraded stereo and upgraded headlights (originals included), the car remains in 100 percent excellent original and unmolested condition. The original Black paint remains excellent as does the original black all leather interior including the dash. Every square inch of this vehicle demonstrates the care it has received for the last 35 years of ownership. Mechanically the car remains extremely fit retaining its spirited 3.3 liter turbo charged engine mated to its original smooth shifting 4 speed gearbox all harnesses by Porsche's Rack and Pinion Steering and 4 wheel ventilated disc brakes. The documentation is exceptional including original order form, original bill of sale, original window sticker, finance contract, life insurance papers for the loan, all original books with portfolio, original stationary portfolio, all paperwork from day one, original and complete tool roll, original key card with original keys, owner history, research material regarding the original purchase of the vehicle and added bonuses of vintage articles by car and driver, road and track, and playboy reviewing the 930. The mileage is fully documented by service records, state inspections, and registrations. Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-11nevKcmw&rel=0 Powered by Dealer Accelerate. Porsche's baby Panamera delayed until 2019 or later
Tue, 15 Jul 2014If you're enticed by the idea of a Porsche sedan but find the Panamera to be too big, your hopes may have been raised by the development of the so-called Pajun. But don't get those hopes up too much, because the latest word coming in from the Old World has it that the Panamera Junior has been delayed.
The Pajun was (and theoretically still is, despite tardiness) a project to apply to the Panamera the same winning formula that Porsche used to transmute the Cayenne into the smaller Macan. Its size would be closer to the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class than the larger Panamera, and employ an array of six-cylinder engines.
The smaller five-door was set to be the cornerstone of Porsche Product Strategy 2018, a plan that included several new models to be launched within the next four years. However, reports now indicate that the Volkswagen Group is counting on Porsche to help bolster its profits and is not keen on investing in new products at this time, pushing the Pajun and other projects back until 2019 at the earliest. Although much of the strategy remains undisclosed, it is believed to include (or have included) a sub-Boxster sports car and a supercar to slot in between the 911 and the 918 Spyder. There was also talk of a shooting brake version of the Panamera based on the Sport Turismo concept pictured above. What will become of those projects, however, remains to be seen.
A closer look at the 2015 Porsche Macan

He assured us that "this is a sports car."
Porsche took the wraps off its all-new 2015 Macan at the LA Auto Show last week, and while it's easy to write it off as just a badge-engineered version of the Audi Q5, you'd be very, very wrong. For starters, 75 percent of the car's platform was re-engineered by the Porsche team, and with a choice of two twin-turbocharged engines, the Macan should absolutely live up to the brand's pedigree.
Porsche to reveal Cayman GT4 Clubsport racer in LA
Tue, Oct 6 2015Aspiring professionals and amateur gentleman racers alike will want to swing by the Porsche booth at the LA Auto Show this year. That's where the German automaker will be revealing its new entry-level racer. The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport is nearly stock, but features some choice upgrades to cater its disposition toward the racetrack. Power comes from the same 3.8-liter flat-six as the road-going Cayman GT4 (shown above), producing the same 385 horsepower. It ditches the manual, however, for the faster-shifting DCT (which we expect will soon be offered on the showroom version as well), aided by a mechanical locking differential. It features the front suspension setup from the 911 GT3 Cup car and beefed-up steel brakes. It's also got a roll cage inside and a racing bucket with a six-point harness. All told, the whole package weighs 2,866 pounds – making it a good hundred pounds lighter than the street-legal model on which it's so closely based. Once homologation is complete, customers will be able to field it in series like the Pirelli World Challenge, Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, and Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy. Porsche has yet to release images, but we'll be sure to update this post as soon as they're available – so watch this space. New race car for motorsport newcomers Porsche develops Cayman GT4 Clubsport Stuttgart. Using the lightweight Cayman GT4 as the basis, Porsche Motorsport has developed a near-standard racing version. The Cayman GT4 Clubsport celebrates its world premiere at the Los Angeles Motor Show on 18 November. Sales of the 283 kW (385 hp) mid-engine racer for motorsport newcomers also start on this date. Just like its race-worthy production sibling, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport is powered by a 3.8-litre flat-six engine. The racing version features a Porsche double clutch transmission with shift paddles on the steering wheel and a mechanical rear-axle locking differential. The lightweight suspension strut front axle is taken from its big 911 GT3 Cup brother, which is campaigned in Porsche's 20 one-make championships around the world. The impressive racing brake system is fitted with steel brake discs all round measuring 380-millimetre in diameter. Tipping the scales at just 1,300 kilograms, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport, delivered ex-works with a welded-in safety cage, a racing bucket seat as well as a six-point harness, is truly lightweight.
