Please know first that I am NOT a car Dealer/ car "Flipper"
I am the shop where most all of the work on the car has been done most recently, we specialize in Porsche and 928s. I have owned 928s since 1979 and still do. This car belongs to my customer and she asked me to help her sell it. This S4 is by far the best running driving S4 I have ever driven and will make someone an excellent daily driver or weekend fun car. Most everything has been done on this car mechanically. Complete top end refresh from the cylinder heads(GT Cams installed) and up as well as total refresh of the front of the engine as well (most of the work completed in the last couple years). And I mean all wearable parts on the top and front of the engine have been replaced with new. Intake manifold stripped and powder coated. The rest of the car has been Serviced from front to rear, including trans and CVs. New front spoiler and under panels, AC compressed/drier/hoses. Well over $20,000 has been put "mechanically" in this car! That means your way ahead of the game mechanically with this car than most any other S4 you will find and this car is very very quick! On the negative side, the Midnight Dark Navy Blue paint has lots of road rash on the front end and rocker panels. The rest of the paint is very decent otherwise. Its a non metallic paint, so it could be matched perfectly by a competent paint shop. The paint all looks original to me. Inside the car the the dash and pod have a vinyl plastic topper on them to cover the cracked dash. The topper is a dark blue but not a good match to the original color. The leather and interior as a whole is in good shape other than the passenger seat bottom a bit hardened from a water leak at the sunroof(leak has been repaired). Although, the AC is cold, there appears to be a problem with the HVAC and or vacuum flapper solenoids. Regardless of these defects the car is a bargin for all that has been done on it and one would have a difficult time finding a better car for the price. Also, note that the wheels are CHROMED as the pics don't show this too well. Thanks for reading, I have tried my best to offer a fair appraisal of this car, but feel free to ask any questions about the car . A $500.00 nonrefundable deposit is due immediately upon winning. The balance can be paid with cash or check, but if paid by check, car and title will not be released until the check clears. PAYPAL ONLY FOR THE $500 DEPOSIT |

Supercars for the win | Autoblog Podcast #515
Fri, May 19 2017Some days at Autoblog are better than others. And in this episode, we talk about those days. Specifically, the days where we get to drive supercars. Mike Austin, Greg Migliore, and Alex Kierstein join up in this episode to talk about driving the McLaren 720S, Ford GT, and Porsche 911 GT3. We also drove some less-super, but still notable cars that we talk about at the top of the show. And as always, we play the game Spend My Money where we get to tell readers what we'd do if we were them. We had a lot of fun with this one, we hope you enjoy listening to it. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too. Porsche revisits its remarkable SC East African Safari rally car
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Porsche and motorsports just seem to go hand-in-hand. The brand has defined itself by its ability to compete on the track with the concept that racing bred better road cars. While we are used to seeing 911s speeding along circuits around the world, the rear-engine icon's success in rallying is somewhat less well known. The Porsche Museum aims to fix that by highlighting a 911 SC that competed in the 1978 East African Safari Rally.
The 911 rally car definitely projects a '70s vibe. You wouldn't see too many racecars with a pink brush bar sliding through the stages these days, but it looks amazing. Its bank of spotlights and two, giant, hood-mounted horns definitely give away the car's purpose. Best of all, that fantastic Martini livery defines the looks of Porsche racers from this era.
The 911 SC performed well in the East African Safari Rally, but some suspension damage meant that this particular one never raced again. It's been a part of the Porsche Museum ever since. Scroll down to learn a little more about one part of the brand's off-road legacy.
Porsche says next Cayenne will be faster than Bentley Bentayga
Fri, Jan 23 2015Bentley and Porsche are both high-end marques under the same umbrella, and may even be collaborating on development of new models – but while they tend to take different approaches and go after different customers, that doesn't mean they can't share a bit of sibling rivalry. And that spirit of competition – even within the Volkswagen Group – looks to be coming to a head in the form of their upcoming luxury performance crossovers. For his part, Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer promises that the brand's upcoming Bentayga sport-ute will (in its top spec with the W12 engine) be the fastest SUV on the market. But in speaking with Car and Driver, Wolfgang Hatz – who holds the Porsche R&D head office that Durheimer used to occupy – says the Bentley won't be king for long. Porsche just released the new Cayenne Turbo S in Detroit, touting it as the first SUV to crack the eight-minute barrier at the Nurburgring. And Hatz says that the next version will be even faster. "Our Cayenne is always very very quick. It is doing 300 km/h [186 mph]. I think if [Durheimer] is doing 2 to 3 km/h more, then why not? He's doing that with a 12-cylinder. Our car will be much quicker on the road." The next Cayenne is slated to use a new generation of engines, and according to Hatz, will benefit from the same (if not more) weight loss as the new Audi Q7 with which it will share its platform. That sounds like a winning combination to us. That is, at least, for fans of performance crossovers. For those who aren't, Porsche promises it won't be bolstering its lineup with any new ones. Apparently the Cayenne and the smaller Macan are enough. Nor will Zuffenhausen slot anything bigger than a V6 into the Macan, according to the report. While Porsche's baby crossover will surely continue to get faster with new iterations, the Cayenne will always remain the performance flagship of its SUV range.
