Porsche: 911 Carerra Cabriolet on 2040-cars
Cleveland, Ohio, United States
2003 Porsche 911 Cabriolet in good condition. Recent service includes repair to the convertible top hydraulics so working great with top in great condition, New water pump, newer brakes, installed a magnetic oil drain plug to be able to easily check engine, service to the fuel system. Well cared for 911(we have owned other Porsches and still do).Inside is very clean, a few marks on the console, leather in good condition, no tears. Midnight Blue metallic paint. A few minor issues are the headlight covers are a little foggy and could use refurbished or replaced and the back boot hydraulic is worn so the engine lid does not stay up on its own, pretty cheap repairs. Great running car.

This Porsche 911 GT3 sounds awesome at Targa Tasmania
Tue, Apr 19 2016Unleash high-performance vehicles on closed public roads, and you're practically guaranteed to see something great. Watch a 991-generation Porsche 911 GT3 singing on those picturesque highways, and things just get better. The Targa Tasmania challenges drivers and their machines to negotiate tricky stages in a beautiful setting every year, but there's something mesmerizing about watching this video of a GT3 take the victory in the GT2 class in the rally's 2016 running. Just turn up the speakers, sit back, and enjoy Matt Close and Cameron Reeves put on a show. They take the Porsche from small villages through mountain roads and verdant pastures to eventually attain a class victory. It's a beautiful sight and well worth briefly enjoying in this four-minute video, especially for the great sound. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Volkswagen Group previews its wares on eve of Geneva show
Mon, 05 Mar 2012The Volkswagen Group is comprised of 11 brands producing 240 vehicles across 49 factories throughout the world. So the best way to show off the range of the VW family is to cram a few thousand journalists and VIPs into a massive makeshift stand to outline the Group's goals, what's in the pipeline and what you'll be able to buy later this year.
To that end, VW pulled out all the stops on the eve of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, bringing along 10 vehicles from across the range. We'll be delving into the details of each over the next two days of show coverage, but before that happens, you can read all about what we saw tonight from the cheap seats after the break.
Porsche planning jacked-up 911 Safari? [w/poll]
Thu, 26 Dec 2013The Porsche 911 may, for some, be the quintessential sportscar. And that typically means keeping it on paved roads and racing circuits. But there's a proud history to taking the Elfen off-road that traces back to specially-prepared 911s (like the one pictured above) which Porsche fielded in rallies in the late '70s and early '80s. And now Porsche is reportedly preparing to tap back into that history with a new off-road 911 model, according to the Auto Bild Motor Revue.
Tipped to be called the 911 Safari, the special variant would be based on the Carrera 4 but upgrade with bigger tires fitted to a beefed-up suspension with higher ground clearance and underbody skid plates. The model is expected to be presented initially as a concept at the Beijing Motor Show next April. But if enough interest is expressed - particularly from buyers in developing markets where the roads might not be as smooth as those to which North American and European drivers have become accustomed - Stuttgart could put it into production in 2016, when the current 991 is expected to get a mid-cycle refresh.
