This Florida car was purchased from an insurance auction and was described as being flood damaged.  The vehicle's alarm module, which sits in the absolute lowest part of the interior had become wet and subsequently failed.  This was the only reason for the vehicle being totaled out by the insurance company, and I have a copy of the original damage report from them to prove it.  A copy is available on request.  It is pretty well documented online that the alarm module location in these vehicles is probably in the worst possible spot for such an important module.  Pretty much every other module runs through the alarm module and if that module fails, the whole car becomes inoperable.  When we took delivery of the vehicle, there was no water in it and after thorough inspection by the local Porsche specialist, there were no other electronics affected by whatever water entered the car.  There was no stale odor in the vehicle at that time, nor is there now.  We promptly ordered and installed a brand new alarm module from Porsche, for which we have invoices for, programmed it to the vehicle and started her right up.  Additionally, we had the LN Engineering IMS Retrofit Bearing installed(2500.00 Job), which also is very well documented online as a MUST have for this vehicle.  Beyond that, a fresh oil change and a new set of tires were given to this fine automobile and that's the way she sits right now, waiting for a new owner.  Once all of this was done, the vehicle went for Pennsylvania Salvage inspection, where they verify the repairs and do a COMPLETE mechanical inspection on the vehicle and naturally it passed and now has a Reconstructed Flood Title.

Copies of all documentation(repair orders, invoices, etc) available in .pdf form via email for anyone who is seriously interested in buying the car.

.99 No Reserve Auction, this Porsche will be sold to the highest bidder, or save some time and money and use the buy it now!

500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, balance due via wire transfer or COD certified funds/cash.  We can arrange transport from Philadelphia International Airport or Atlantic City Airport at no additional charge.  This vehicle is fully serviced and ready to drive wherever you need to go.  If you prefer to have the vehicle delivered, I can arrange transport to anywhere in the USA, though I strongly suggest that the buyer pick the vehicle up in person.

If you have any questions whatsoever, which on a vehicle like this I suspect you may, please email me here, or call/text me at any time at 484-548-0563

Man steals Porsche, brags on video, then crashes into wall

Thu, Dec 3 2015

Here's your daily reminder that thieves are morons. This also serves as reminder that not everything you do needs to be committed to video. A man in Gloucester, a city in southwest England, was stupid enough to steal a Porsche Boxster and then take a video in it. Oh, and of course, he crashed it. Now, we'll give this dimwit, 25-year-old Jamie Lee Sharp, some credit – he didn't actually admit that he stole the car on video, at least based on the 45-second clip released by Gloucester police and hosted by The Guardian. According to the story, there was more footage, which included Sharp driving the car and phoning friends, before he crashed it into a wall. It's not clear if the crash was caught on video, though. Following the crash, Sharp's accomplice, 26-year-old James Honeywell, abandoned him at the scene of the wreck. Both thieves were arrested following the January incident, though, and were just recently sentenced by British authorities following guilty pleas. The crown awarded Sharp's actions with a four-year stay in one of Her Majesty's prisons for burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, driving while disqualified, drunk driving, and driving without insurance. Honeywell got 35 months burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, and failure to appear at court. His license was also suspended for nearly two and half years, too, The Guardian reports. Singer offers first look at reimagined Porsche 911 Targa in the US

Sat, Aug 15 2015

We're big fans of Singer's work. The company's "reimagined" Porsche 911s mix the best of what's old with modern technology, and the end results are simply fantastic to behold (and to drive). At the Quail Motorsports Gathering – part of Monterey Car Week – Singer's take on the Porsche 911 Targa made its North American debut, after the car was first shown at Goodwood in June. The car shown here is the second Porsche 911 Targa reimagined by Singer, wearing a really striking shade of brown. Parked next to it was an example of the 4.0-liter 911 that we drove earlier this year. Seeing the two cars next to each other was really special – two of the finest examples of restomod 911s in one place. Singer also used this showing to debut a new carbon ceramic braking system. These new stoppers were co-developed with WP Pro Racing Brakes, and offer a 42-percent weight savings over Singer's standard units. Still, the best part of Singer's display is that brown Targa. Take a few minutes and have a look, in the gallery above. Related Video:

What hardcore 911 is Porsche working on now?

Thu, Apr 14 2016

Porsche has been spotted testing a new hardcore version of the latest 911. The prototype appears to blend the best elements from the recently facelifted 991.2 with those of the outgoing GT3 RS, which both follows logically and bodes well for the German automaker's latest track-focused performance machine. That means new lighting and other touches, but also more ventilation than a toxic chemicals facility. The bigger question, however, is what engine Porsche is hanging off the back. If history teaches us anything, we could be looking at one of several possibilities. For one, this could be a prototype for the updated 911 GT3 RS, carrying a modified version of the existing model's 4.0-liter flat-six, still naturally aspirated, but maybe with a few extra horses kicked in over the outgoing version's 500 hp. For another, it could follow in the footsteps of the previous limited-edition GT3 RS 4.0, but since the existing model already boasts that displacement, this one could go a step further at 4.2 liters. But then it might not be a GT3 at all: we could be looking at the rebirth of the GT2, the primary difference between the two being the absence or presence of turbochargers. Porsche hasn't done a forced-induction GT model since the GT2 RS of 2010, and that was essentially a 911 Turbo sans the all-wheel drive and any shred of sanity. Whatever is lurking under all that aggressive bodywork, we're looking forward to finding out. And we get the distinct feeling that it won't disappoint.
