1995 PORSCHE CARRERA 911 CABRIOLET. Immaculate show stopper or daily driver. I am the third owner and have pampered this car in my five years of ownership. Car has always been garaged stored. 1st owner was located in Texas, 2nd owner in Northern California and has resided in Jacksonville, FL since 2008. I have all maintenance records for over the last 12 years. This car has been Porsche maintained since new. Car has been maintained by BRUMOS Porsche in Jacksonville, FL since I purchased the car in 2008. It is arguably one of the nicest 993's around. 67,900 original low miles. Spare has never been used. All original OEM glass except driver side window was recently replaced with Porsche glass thru Brumos Porsche. Accident free, clean Auto-Check car history. This car was recently shown at the 2013 AMELIA ISLAND CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE SHOW at the Dupont Registry display, earlier this month. Everything is stock OEM except for the recently installed Alpine AM/FM/CD with IPOD connection and rear Polk speakers and Lloyd mats. The "993" was the last of the air-cooled generation and arguably the best generation of a "real" Porsche. They were built to be bullet-proof and last forever! The Tiptronic transmission with steering wheel shift control is truly a blast to drive! This generation is quickly becoming a classic and are appreciating yearly in value.

Petrolicious explores long-term living with Porsche's 914/6
Thu, 15 May 2014After its last video starred none other than the spectacular Ferrari 250 GTO, where was there for the video team at Petrolicious to go? Certainly, in the realm of classics, there are only a few other vehicles that can match the badge and pedigree of the ultra-rare Ferrari. Maybe a Jaguar D-Type or an Aston Martin DBR1? No, this latest video doesn't star either of those British icons. It stars an oft-misunderstood, occasionally derided entry from Germany's most sporting manufacturer - Porsche.
Yes, we've gone from a Ferrari 250 GTO to a Porsche 914/6. As is often the case with Petrolicious, though, the story told about the car by its owner are often more important than the make or model of car being highlighted. That's exactly the case here, as Jack Griffin talks about the 38 years he's spent with this particular Porsche.
Having been born into the Volkswagen fold and introduced to Porsche in the best way possible - behind the wheel of a 356 - Griffin has some interesting stories (including his attempt at running the 12 Hours of Sebring), and he knows a fair bit about some of the 914's attributes.
Evo rediscovers true love in the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Wed, Jun 3 2015Evo is on record as loving the Porsche 911 GT3. In fact the only time the GT3 hasn't won its Car of the Year award was when there wasn't a new one to contend for top honors, and in 2009 (when the 997.2 GT3 lost out to the Lotus Evora). By all accounts, then, Evo ought to love the new GT3 RS. Fortunately that's just what the British enthusiast's publication has gotten its hands on for this latest video. After Porsche went a bit softer with the current 911 GT3, the RS has been toughened up to greet the most hardcore of Zuffenhausen's faithful. It was revealed just a few months ago at the Geneva Motor Show, with a 4.0-liter atmospheric boxer-six driving 500 horsepower and 338 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels – exclusively through a dual-clutch transmission. That last bit might be enough to make the snobbiest of purists scoff, but it wasn't enough to keep Chris Harris from loving it. Find out what his former compatriots at Evo have to say from this first drive.
Porsche 919 Hybrid collides with 911 at Silverstone
Mon, Apr 18 2016Endurance racing is tough, in part because drivers must share the track with a whole variety of cars traveling at different speeds. That can be especially difficult for the front-running prototypes, which have to keep up the pace while overtaking slower cars. Just ask Brendon Hartley, whose spectacular crash in a Porsche 919 Hybrid while overtaking a 911 thankfully resulted in no injuries. The defending champion was scything his way through lapped back-traffic in the season opener this past weekend for the FIA World Endurance Championship when he apparently miscalculated a passing maneuver while exiting the corner. Hartley was reprimanded for the collision that took both cars out of the race but fortunately left both drivers unscathed. Worse yet was that he and his teammates were on track to win the race, and ended up watching the rest of the race from the pit lane. Instead an Audi R18 crossed the finish line first – but the race win was subsequently handed instead to another Porsche 919 during post-race scrutineering. Audi is appealing the decision, but Hartley and his co-pilots Timo Bernhard and Mark Webber will have some ground to make up if they hope to retain their crown this season.
