Very rare opportunity to own a pice of Brumos Porsche Racing-
Here is the history of this Porsche 911sc-
In 1982 Bob Snodgrass president of Brumos Racing, and president and CEO of the Brumos dealerships ordered this SC
from the factory and wanted something that is a little different from all 911 he is selling and sold at the Brumos
Porsche dealership, from the exterior color to the very rare uni- interior.
Bob drove this car on and off from 1983 to 1989 as a dealers car. (never registered in that time frame) Hurley
Haywood (BRUMOS RACING #59) drove this very rare 911 on many track days at the savannah speedway-
Being owned by the president and CEO of Brumos Porsche this rare 911SC received the best treatment in all and every

In September/11/1989 Bob sold his SC to his brother In-Law Dr. Weaver at the time of sale the Porsche had only
27381 miles, In 1989 it was the first time this car was registered (sold to original owner in 1989)
In 2015 I was very fortunate to be able to purchase this car from Dr. Weaver and own a car that was owned and

2015 Porsche Macan Turbo

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

The misinformation first started back in May of 2007 - more than six years ago - when word came that Porsche was developing a compact utility vehicle to fill out its product line. Rumors swirled that the German automaker's future "Roxster" would be based on the then-upcoming Audi Q5. By September of 2010, the name had changed to "Cajun," but the vehicle was still expected to be "based heavily on the Audi Q5," said reports in the months that followed. One year later, the first test mules were spotted, the mechanics hidden beneath barely disguised Audi sheetmetal, which did nothing to give the upcoming model its own identity. And even after Porsche announced "Macan" as the vehicle's production name in early 2012, articles stated that it would "arrive on the same chassis as the Audi Q5, though with suspension, brake and engine tweaks suitable to the Porsche range."
It's no wonder that most still consider the all-new Porsche Macan nothing more than a heavily massaged Q5.
To help lift some of the mystery surrounding its latest release, Porsche hosted us in Germany for an in-depth look at its new crossover (while Europeans call it a "sport utility," its car platform allows us to call it a proper CUV). The technology workshop offered us insight to the design and mechanical execution, and it concluded with a short test ride. The trip was both enlightening and educational - and it left us with a whole new perspective on the Macan.

Porsche purists, look away: This 911 is powered by Hyundai

Wed, Aug 10 2016

Bisimoto appears to be putting together a Hyundai V6-powered Porsche 911. While the experiment reminds us of a project from earlier this year, in which Ryan Tuerck dropped a Ferrari V8 into Toyota GT86, this one's a bit different. Bisimoto has a history of creating some truly insane automobiles, usually with Veyron-menacing power levels. In fact, the tuning company built multiple 1,000 horsepower machines, including a 1976 Porsche 911 and a 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe, not to mention a few other Hyundais with oodles of power. So it seems Bisimoto has decided to combine the company's experience with both marque's into one machine with this 1977 Porsche 911. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The company revealed the intended engine for the car today, next to the disassembled tail end of the 911. No specific details about the engine were given, but a "hyundaiusa" tag, some helpful hints from Instagram commenters and some diligent Google image searching by Autoblog staff members seem to show that this is a Hyundai Lambda series V6. It also appears to be a version from a car with a transverse layout, which would make it easier to fit in the 911's traditional engine location. What we do know is that the build will be completed in time for the SEMA show, and we look forward to seeing the finished Franken-Porsche. The same probably can't be said for Porsche purists though. Porsche skipping 2017 Detroit Auto Show

Tue, Jul 26 2016

Porsche is going to pass on the annual North American International Auto Show in January 2017. The news was first reported on Tuesday by Germany's Auto Motor und Sport. NAIAS spokesman Max Muncey confirmed the report to Autoblog. According to Automotive News, Porsche will shift its auto show focus to April's New York International Auto Show and November's Los Angeles International Auto Show. Chicago Auto Show spokesman Dave Sloan reached out to Autoblog to add that Porsche is doubling the size of its exhibit in the Windy City. According to AN, Porsche "viewed the cost and value of participating in the Detroit auto show were no longer viable." See, Detroit is big on news and debuts instead of ultra-impressive ticket sales. But over 1 million people passed through the doors of the Jacob Javits Center in New York last year, just under 200,000 more than in the Motor City. LA, meanwhile, is Porsche's biggest US market, which explains the loyalty. In other words, Detroit's great for debuting cars, but without anything new Porsche can get more cluck for its buck by reallocating resources to New York and LA. If Porsche's rationale sounds familiar, it's because it is. Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Tesla used Detroit's heavy focus on new vehicle introductions and its relatively small attendance to skip the 2016 North American International Auto Show in favor of shows with higher attendance. Porsche previously skipped the 2009 NAIAS, citing similar reasons. Related Video: News Source: Automotive News - sub. req.Image Credit: Patrick T.
