THIS CAR HAS BEEN EXTREMELY FUN TO OWN, LOOKS GREAT, HAS BRIGHT CHROME AND STILL TURNS A FEW HEADS AROUND TOWN.

THE PORSCHE HAS BEEN REPAINTED ONCE AS FAR AS I CAN TELL BY OTHERS. NOT THE BEST JOB, CERTAINLY NOT A QUALITY SHOW CAR PAINT FINISH. IT'S A GOOD DRIVER QUALITY PAINT JOB THAT IS STARTING TO SHOW IT'S AGE. MEANING, PAINT CHIPS, DULL SPOTS AND ONE AREA OF CRACKING. THE REAR LICENSE PLATE PANEL NEEDS SOME ATTENTION AS WELL.
BOTTOM EDGES OF ROCKER PANELS NEED SOME COSMETIC ATTENTION, ALTHOUGH VERY SOLID.   (SEE SECOND TO LAST PHOTO)
A HIGH QUALITY PAINT JOB WOULD MAKE THE CAR ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!
THE PORSCHE ALSO HAS DASH CAP OVER THE ORIGINAL DASH.  I HAVE NEVER REMOVED IT SO I DO NOT KNOW WHAT CONDITION THE DASH IS IN.
THE ORIGINAL PORSCHE CLOCK IS NOT WORKING AS IS TRUE WITH MOST OF THESE CLOCKS.
THE RUBBER INSERTS ON ALL OF THE BUMPERS COULD BE REPLACED.
THE FRONT AND REAR WINDSHIELDS COULD USE NEW RUBBER SEALS. ALTHOUGH NOT LEAKING, THE PREVIOUS OWNER ADDED CLEAR SILICONE TO THE TOP OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD SEAL.

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT MY PORSCHE, FEEL FREE TO ASK AS MANY QUESTIONS AS YOU FEEL NECESSARY.  I AM HAPPY TO HELP ASSIST YOU WITH THE AUTO TRANSPORT EXPERIENCE.

This Porsche 911 GT3 sounds awesome at Targa Tasmania

Tue, Apr 19 2016

Unleash high-performance vehicles on closed public roads, and you're practically guaranteed to see something great. Watch a 991-generation Porsche 911 GT3 singing on those picturesque highways, and things just get better. The Targa Tasmania challenges drivers and their machines to negotiate tricky stages in a beautiful setting every year, but there's something mesmerizing about watching this video of a GT3 take the victory in the GT2 class in the rally's 2016 running. Just turn up the speakers, sit back, and enjoy Matt Close and Cameron Reeves put on a show. They take the Porsche from small villages through mountain roads and verdant pastures to eventually attain a class victory. It's a beautiful sight and well worth briefly enjoying in this four-minute video, especially for the great sound. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. 2017 Porsche Panamera wagon spotted on Nurburgring

Tue, Apr 12 2016

Back in February we showed you spy photos of a Porsche Panamera wagon that suggest the body style is slated for production. With the same car (or a nearly identical test mule) now running on the Nurburgring, we're ready to say the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is real. The name comes from a concept shown at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. It's not confirmed whether the Sport Turismo badge will be the official name for this model. We've seen spy photos of the standard Panamera hatchback, and both it and the wagon shares similar body panels. Expect to see the new 2017 Porsche Panamera at Paris this year with new or updated V6 and V8 engines as well as a plug-in hybrid option. The new Panamera is based off the MSB platform that Porsche is leading development on. As we reported previously, the next big Porsche could come as a coupe variant as well. Autocar also reports that the MSB platform will underpin future Bentley models, and the next Audi A8 (or A9 coupe) will probably share the same architecture. Before you bemoan the shared platform as some kind of brand dilution, remember that Porsche claims the Macan SUV shares only one-third of its parts with the Audi Q5. That is, the brands in the VW maintain a lot of differentiation despite common underpinnings. Or to put it another way: if you're going to make a knee-jerk complaint about Porsche, keep it to the standard cliches about making too many SUVs or how the Panamera isn't pretty. But to go back to the wagon seen above, at least the boxy tail lends some elegance to the Panamera's generous dimensions. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS prowls into Geneva with biggest NA engine in the 911 range [w/video]

Tue, Mar 3 2015

We've been waiting for the debut of this road-going and race-ready Porsche 911 GT3 RS for quite some time now. As is typical for high-profile sports machines, the new 911 has been foreshadowed with spy shots and information leaks aplenty, all pointing to this grand day at Geneva. Here she is. Just a glance at the duct-sliced bodywork and massive rear wing will tell you that this Porsche means business, but let's look at its bona fides. The heart of the matter, under that short rear deck, is the largest-displacement and most powerful naturally aspirated engine in the 911 family, with 500 horsepower and 338 pound-feet of torque developed by the 4.0-liter flat-six. That hoss of an engine is mated to a newly developed version of Porsche's PDK dual-clutch gearbox – with functions such as "paddle neutral" that effectively works like depressing the clutch on a standard manual, and a Pit Speed button for on the track. Working in concert, engine and trans allow the GT3 RS to sprint to 60 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds, hit a quarter mile in 11.2, and lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just seven minutes, 20 seconds. (That 'Ring time makes it the fastest current 911 around the benchmark course, and five seconds faster than the current 911 GT3 – so quick.) Weight has been saved via exotic materials; the car sports a magnesium roof and carbon fiber for the trunk and engine lids. Overall the RS is 22 pounds lighter than the GT3, but also boasts a lower center of gravity. As we said at the top, there's a wide, low and aggressive body kit on the GT3 RS, all engineered with racing performance in mind. That huge rear wing is balanced in the front by a deep chin spoiler, and the front wheel arches have been punctuated with vents that help to increase downforce on the front axle. The roll cage is the most obvious interior modification to let one know that this is a racing tool, but Porsche has also slathered the space in Alcantara and installed carbon-fiber bucket seats (based on those found in the 918 Spyder) to drive the point home. The cost of such racing glory will be steep at $175,900 plus a $995 destination charge, but not out of the scope of the current ask for the 911 range, when you consider that a Turbo S runs over $180k. Look for 911 GT3 RS deliveries to start in July of this year in the US, and for track days to be more competitive for the addition.
