1972 Porsche 911T Sephia
Engine: 2.4 Liter Bosch mechanical fuel injection original to the car.
Transmission: 5 Speed 915 original to the car.
15 inch Fuchs wheels.
It is a complete un-molested car with the necessary repair and refinishing to bring it back to its original state. This is a rare chance to own a car that has the majority of its original parts intact in exceptional condition.
The following work has been completed:
Engine top end rebuild:
-Cylinder heads rebuilt by competition engineering
-Mechanical fuel injection pump and injectors by Gus at Pacific fuel injection (National MFI Expert)
-New pistons and cylinders
-All exterior engine and fuel injection hardware restored
-Replacement of timing chains and various engine accessories
-Cleaning and restoration of oil tank
-New hoses and fuel lines
-Gas tank cleaned
Brakes and Suspension:
-All parts removed and bead blasted, then painted black or plated in their original color
-Calipers rebuilt, rotors turned, new wheel bearings installed
-New Bilstein sport shocks all around
-New tires
-Drives as it should and feels like a low milage car
Exterior:
-The car has had one high-quality windows-out respray, perfectly matching the original Sephia Brown.
-Front fenders were replaced with new Porsche factory replacement parts.
-The rest of the chassis required only minor repair in 3 areas; details available on request.
-ORIGINAL floors, doors, 1/4 panels, rockers, front gas tank support, and battery boxes (see the pictures in the Flikr link).
-I refinished the exterior of the car to factory appearance. I did not paint the bottom of the hood, engine lid, or inside of doors. (See the pictures.)
-I did not paint the undersides 1.) because they are very good, and 2.) to showcase the amazing original condition of this car.
Interior:
-The complete interior is original - dash, seats, headliner, carpet, door coverings.
-Only cleaning there, folks. It's completely ORIGINAL except the 8-track player. Dash pad is un-cracked. All of the original upholstery is intact and present. All gauges and the clock work. It is amazing to find a car with an original interior in this good of condition.
-Damage as follows: sun fading of rear seat back carpet, one crack in the driver's seat side, one hole in the driver's seat by the seat belt. (Small stuff.)
-Some would say "good patina".

2014 Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 Cup step out early
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Though Porsche won't be feeding us the full 911 enchilada until tomorrow's Geneva-based festivities, we have managed to scare up some official images of the 2014 911 GT3, as well as the all-new 911 GT3 Cup. As Porsche is celebrating 50 years of the 911, we anticipate a good day for great cars.
The new GT3 looks every bit the proper successor to the racy 911 nameplate, with a fixed rear wing large enough to serve cocktails on, a curvaceous body kit and 20-inch wheels that offer a dominating on-road stance. It's a good bet that Porsche will have coaxed something like 450 horsepower from the naturally aspirated, 3.8-liter flat-six engine that hangs over the car's rear axle. A seven-speed manual and Porsche's own PDK transmission are the likely gearbox offerings.
Should the mental quickness and imposing wingery of the standard GT3 not be enough for you, future racecar driver, Porsche is also bringing a GT3 Cup car to Geneva. The German automaker has given just a few scant details about this Cup car - 460 hp on tap, a production run of just 2,400 units - including three images of the kitted out racer. Certainly more and finer details will emerge, when Porsche shines the spotlights on its new 911s tomorrow.
Video proof the Porsche 912 deserves a second look
Thu, Dec 17 2015The Porsche 912 suffered from a bad reputation for years as a lesser Porsche among the brand's ardent fans. Some people just didn't see the appeal of a coupe that shared the 911's lines but used a four-cylinder engine. The tide has started to turn recently as ballooning air-cooled 911 prices present these cars as an interesting alternative. The latest clip from Petrolicious also makes a great argument for the 912 by showing a Bahama Yellow example cruising along French roads. Like many of us, Antoine Gaslais had a tight budget and searched for years for his dream car. Things were more of a nightmare when he found his 1967 912, though. The coupe initially didn't run and then broke down once he thought it was fixed. A buddy eventually helped him get the Porsche back on the road. Gaslais knows his 912 isn't concours perfect, but that's not the point for him. Gaslais just likes to be able to cruise. Take a ride with him through some French hamlets in the latest from Petrolicious.
2015 Porsche Cayenne spotted with facelift
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Although it's only been a few years since the current Porsche Cayenne was introduced, Porsche seems to be working on a midcycle update for its big SUV possibly in time to welcome the smaller Macan. As seen in these recent spy shots, it looks like the Cayenne will be getting a minor face- and butt-lift, but it's hard to say what other changes are in store or when the updated model will hit showrooms.
Up front, expect the Cayenne's new face to resemble what was just revealed on the 2014 Panamera, and we could also see this SUV using some of the new engines introduced on the Panamera including the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 or maybe even the E-Hybrid model. We're guessing that the new Cayenne could debut sometime next year likely for the 2015 model year. In the meantime, check out the gallery of spy shots above.
