1963 Porsche 356b S90 Super 90 Karmann Coupe Ivory With Brown Leatherette on 2040-cars
Grass Valley, California, United States
|
Greetings!
What we have for sale today is a 1963 Porsche 356B Super 90 Karmann coupe which came originally in Ivory with brown leatherette, according to the COA. The engine does not match the Kardex/COA but it is a Super 90. This car is very rough and will need a complete restoration but it does have all of its serial number plates, a clear California title and a ton of potential! It needs floors, doors, lids, longitudinals, etc... A complete restoration. I think it has a 741 trans, probably the original but I haven't yet checked. Look closely at the pics and ask questions. thanks! bill |

Singer 911 gorgeousness explored and experienced by Chris Harris
Thu, 17 Jan 2013Few things get us as cranked up as a Porsche 911. Generation after generation, this rear-engined oddity has exhilarated our senses, and the new 991 is the most capable iteration yet. Even so, there's a lot to be said for the older models, from their lighter weights and more modest dimensions to their air-cooled thrums.
That elemental vintage Porsche appeal hasn't been lost on Los Angeles-based Singer Vehicle Design, which has endeavored to take the best bits from every generation of 911 and combine them into one impossibly sexy rear-engined machine. Based on a 964 donor car, we knew that a lot of work would need to go into everything from the structure to the bodywork to realize the Singer's cohesive aesthetic and dynamic vision, but we didn't know just how much until we watched this Drive video featuring Chris Harris. The auto journo gets time with the 350-horsepower, Cosworth-motivated coupe on both mountain passes and at the track, but what could be the most interesting thing about the 27-minute-long video is his in-depth plant tour.
Check it out by scrolling below, but not before paging through our new Singer 911 gallery.
This man literally loves a Porsche [NSFW]
Mon, May 11 2015Think you know what "auto erotic" means? Think again. Because one man in Thailand has redefined the term. Caught on security camera footage this guy lurks into a garage, looks over both shoulders, evidently misses the camera, drops trou and has his way with a Porsche Boxster. When the tailpipe proved too hot (or otherwise inhospitable), he moves up to the radiator grille and – ahem – finishes up there. Sadly this isn't even the first time we've come across this particular perversion. We'd urge caution before viewing the video, not only because it's not suitable for a workplace environment, but because once you see it, you're bound to repeatedly blurt out, "Why, man!? Why?"
