1963 Porsche 356 NO RESERVE !
This outstanding Super 90 Coupe combines select ownership and overwhelming originality to result in a benchmark example.According to a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Porsche, this car was originally delivered on June 27, 1962, finished in a sleek black exterior over a black interior, accented by chrome wheels. The Southern California climate provided ideal temperate weather, as the first owner in Costa Mesa, California, retained the car for 43 years. Well preserved and fastidiously maintained during her ownership.
Impeccably presented, this Karmann-bodied 356 B Coupe features a number of desirable options, including a correct Blaupunkt radio, an electric sunroof, a vintage Leitz luggage rack and a Les Leston wood steering wheel. Accompanied by manuals and tools, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a comprehensive file of maintenance receipts, this matching- numbers Super 90 Coupe is a thoroughly documented, two-owner example that is ideally poised for concours competition or spirited drives and rallies. This Porsche’s next owner will doubtlessly enjoy its thrilling handling and performance, which have earned the Super 90 an indelible chapter in the 356 legend.

Ferrari Speciale and Porsche GT3 make the trip to Le Mans
Thu, Aug 6 2015Call it a pilgrimage. Call it a right of passage. The bottom line is that every racing fan should make the trip to Le Mans at some point. All the better if you can do it in style, as Evo has for this latest video. Instead of taking any old car through the Chunnel and along the French countryside to the famous Circuit de la Sarthe, Evo made the trip in the Ferrari 458 Speciale and Porsche 911 GT3. Both are more extreme versions of the already capable sports cars. They're still naturally aspirated, drive the rear wheels through seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions, and both won top honors in Evo's car of the year awards upon their release. And we could hardly imagine better vehicles for the journey. Along the way, the convoy-of-two stopped by the side of the old Rouen-Les-Essarts circuit. Back in the 1950s and 60s it was regarded as one of Europe's finest street circuits, hosting the French Grand Prix five times. It was closed down and paved over in the decades that followed, and is today part of a public thoroughfare – but you can still drive around it and see some of the relics of its former self peering through. Porsche Australia racing chief dies in crash
Wed, Dec 10 2014The motor racing community in Australia was saddened today to learn of the passing of Jamey Blaikie, a longtime racing administrator and former motorsport director for Porsche in Australia. A former racing driver in his own right, Blaikie was better known for his instrumental role in starting the Porsche Carrera Cup in Australia back in 2003. He left Porsche Cars Australia just last year to pursue other interests, including running an Aston Martin entry in the GT Asia series. Blaikie was in Fiji reportedly undertaking charity work there when his rental car collided with a truck, prematurely ending his life at just 52 years old. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and the motorsport community Down Under, where he'll surely be missed.
Porsche Exclusive showcases custom-order 911 Turbo Cabrio
Sun, 06 Apr 2014Porsche is one of the most profitable automakers in the business. In fact, it's said to make about $23,000 on each car it sells, thanks in no small part to an options list that can send the sticker price accelerating quicker than one of its own sports cars. But there are always those for whom even the extensive option list won't be enough, and for just such customers, there is Porsche Exclusive.
The division in Zuffenhausen is tasked with creating even more individualized examples of Porsche vehicles, and it recently did up this 911 Turbo Cabriolet - which, at $160,700, is already one of the most expensive Porsches you can order this side of a 918 Spyder: more than any Boxster, Cayman, Macan or Cayenne, any Panamera other than a Turbo S or Executive - not to mention any other 911 short of a Turbo S.
This particular demo vehicle features a Slate Grey paint job and red interior decked out in more leather than an S&M dungeon - which, come to think of it, would probably be less financially painful than ordering up this car from Porsche Exclusive.
