PHS Documented 389  WT Four Barrel with Factory correct Tri-power added, ordered W Code Slate Blue with Black interior, ordered with 4 speed and 3:23 Posi, Gauges, console, power top, many correct options added by owner,   power steering , power disc brakes ( a nice modification ) am-fm radio, rear power antenna  ,tilt wheel, has very expensive 64 wood wheel not correct but worth 1500 dollars! Correct bias red lines and rally one wheels or correct 1 inch bias whites and nice 65 spinner hubcaps.


Correct WT Dated engine with 77 heads, completely rebuilt blue print and balanced with 10-1 pump friendly pistons, heads done to burn unleaded, custom special made Lunati cam close to tri-power cam but with a little more power, expensive aluminum radiator powder coated to look original, the best of everything in engine, trans rebuilt, and center force clutch installed.

Car was raced in previous life so I left the electric cut outs on, has stock fuel pump but left electric on for back up, also left line lock on, thought they are great conversation pieces and you don't have to use any of them. all are hidden away and can be turned on with toggle switches.

Interior and dash are all original to the car and excellent.

Top is old but works well .

This is a no rust  car,  very clean sheet metal all around, straight as a arrow, all gaps line up great, frame , floors are beautiful.

Windows and stainless are nice.

Everything works except tach shows higher rpm's, 

your choice of wheels!

Paint is old, nice driver quality.

Drives great, Motor is fresh, runs like a tiger should.

this is a very nice GTO Convertible. Not a clone or rusty car or hot rod, you will be proud to own her.

GM expands headlight recall to 180k Buicks and Pontiacs

General Motors is issuing an expanded headlight module recall to include 180,504 examples in North America of the 2005 Buick LaCrosse (2008 model year pictured above) and 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. Specifically, the campaign affects 159,584 of them in the US and 20,920 in Canada. When the part fails, the vehicles' low beams can stop working either intermittently or permanently. "GM is unable to confirm any crashes, injuries or fatalities related to this condition," the company said in a statement, and there's currently no permanent repair for the problem. For now, dealers will replace the headlamp module with a new example of the same part. The automaker first announced this campaign in November 2014 when it affected 316,357 examples globally of the 2006-09 Buick LaCrosse; 2006-2007 Chevy TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT; 2006-2007 GMC Envoy and 2006 GMC Envoy XL; 2006-2007 Buick Rainier; 2006-2008 Saab 9-7X; and 2006-08 Isuzu Ascender. John DeLorean began his career working on Packard's Ultramatic Twin transmission, but he made his greatest mark on the automotive industry during his 1956-1969 tenure at GM's Pontiac Division. There, he helped develop the first production car engine with a quiet timing belt instead of a noisy chain, among other engineering feats, but his real fame came from the development of two money-printing models based more on marketing than machinery: the GTO and the Grand Prix. While the GTO gets all the attention now, the Grand Prix set the standard for the big-selling personal luxury coupes that sold like mad for decades to come. Today's Junkyard Gem is an example of the most powerful Grand Prix available at the turn of the century, found in a Denver-area self-service yard during the summer. The Grand Prix got front-wheel-drive for 1988 and a sedan version for 1990, but then something very beneficial happened in the 1997 model year: supercharging! Various flavors of the venerable 3.8-liter Buick V6 engine (itself based on the early-1960s Buick 215 V8 and thus cousin to the Rover V8) received Eaton blowers, starting in the 1992 model year. The Grand Prix didn't get its introduction to forced induction until the 1997 model year, but it kept the boosted option until the final Grand Prix rolled off the line in 2008 (the final Pontiac followed within a couple of years). This one made 240 horsepower, making it King of Grand Prix engines until the 2005 model year (when the GXP and its 303-horse V8 engine showed up). The very last year for a Grand Prix with a manual transmission was 1993 (there had been a three-pedal Grand Prix drought from 1973 through 1988, just to put things in perspective), so this car has the mandatory four-speed automatic. The Grand Prix lived on GM's W platform for its last two decades, making it sibling to the Impala, Regal, and Intrigue in 2001. Until the 2004 model year, every W-Body Grand Prix was built at Fairfax Assembly in Kansas City (no, theĀ other Kansas City). Production of the final generation of Grand Prix took place in Ontario. It seems fitting that this car's final pre-crusher parking spot would be between two other GM products of the same era: a Monte Carlo and a Vibe.
