This car is the real deal 1965 GTO Kansas plant  5NW car  the only thing that has been done to the car is some one painted it yellow they did no boby work to do this the drive train has been long gone but there is a 70s turbo 400 olds motor and tranny in it I bought it out of a storage unit 2 years ago and thats where it was since the 90s this car is unmolested I have all the original parts everything , some will need to refurbished or replaced but they are included this car also came with AC from the factory not after market I do have the car broken down and ready to be pulled of the frame all bolts I removed are in bags and labeled I have done nothing else to it .

The only rust on the car is around the windshields and about 1 inch or dash has been rusted off where it meets the front windshield the floor pans are in immaculate condition on the interior someone did cut a hole where the stick would have gone to install a slap shifter for the turbo 400 in the trunk there are only two or three holes that you can stick your thumb in , the rear quarter panels have rust about three inches up the smallest patch panels will replace it I belive the rear wheel wells may need to be replace or repaired that is it one front quarter panel has a dent and the other has a 6 inch round spot where someone has made a repair I have not sanded it down to see why other than that no one has done any body work to this car and all else is solid the doors , rocker panels ,  engine well ,  and frame are rust free besides surface rust ,  I would say this car is 90% rust free and nothing has been done to jeopardize the body or frame.

I have all the interior bucket seats , door coverings , and tons of parts the person who put this in storage was the first person to start the restore and only gaot as far as you see in the pics I have everything, the seats look like they can be repaired ant the original material used there are some splits in seams but no scratches or tears any where in them , I hope I have given a good description of the car it does need to be completely restored but heres your chance to be the first one to do it and do it right any questions please call jesse at 251 609 2925 thank you and good luck.

Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and arrangements , I will help pack and organize shipment and do my best to make sure it gets where its going safely and as smooth as it can but I will not except responsibility for any damage after it leaves the yard thank you and good luck!

BMX rider flips for wrecked Detroit football stadium

Fri, Jun 12 2015

Detroit is littered with derelict ruins. Abandoned automotive assembly plants, sure – but also former sports venues, like Tiger Stadium in Corktown, Roesink Stadium in Hamtramck, and the Silverdome in Pontiac. BMX rider Tyler Fernengel remembers going to see the Lions and Pistons play at the Silverdome in his youth, and competed there in Supercross as a boy. The stadium hasn't been used in years, but now, with his career just picking up, Tyler has returned to film this video – riding through its halls, jumping its stairwells and flipping over its grandstands and field. It's a fitting tribute to a once-great venue of suburban Michigan. Check out the footage in this latest clip from Red Bull. Vitruvian Energy crowdfunding to make EEB, a trashy biofuel

Sat, Nov 22 2014

When sewage is treated at a wastewater treatment facility, biosolids are the byproduct. After being separated from the water, biosolids are usually sent to a landfill or incinerated. That doesn't mean that they're without value, however. Vitruvian Energy has created a process to make a usable fuel out of this human waste product, and while the source is pretty gross, it is undeniably abundant, and the results are much cleaner. EEB can be made for less than $4 a gallon. In a process that Vitruvian Energy claims is energy efficient, biosolids are femented and introduced to a type of bacteria to create PHA plastic. Reacting the PHA with ethanol creates the ethyl-3-ethoxybutyrate (EEB) biofuel. Vitruvian says EEB can be blended up to 20 percent with gasoline or diesel without any engine modifications. This lowers the carbon footprint of the fuel it's blended into, and serves to oxygenate diesel, leading to fewer harmful emissions. EEB can also be made using other organic waste products, such as corn stover, rice straw and distillers grains. EEB can be made for less than $4 a gallon and isn't subject to the maddening market fluctuations and international politics of fossil fuels. Furthermore, EEB's carbon footprint is 70 percent less than that of fossil fuels. Vitruvian also sees potential for EEB to be used on its own to power vehicles or burned to produce electricity for the grid. So far, Vitruvian Energy has used grants from the California Energy Commission and National Science Foundation to develop EEB, and has tested the fuel in a Pontiac Solstice at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Now, Vitruvian is wants to test EEB on a larger scale in the real world in order to prove EEB's viability to interested parties in the wastewater treatment industry. In an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, Vitruvian Energy hopes to raise $200,000 to build a prototype EEB production line and to run a test vehicle for a year on an EEB-diesel blend on the streets of Seattle. Donors can score some interesting perks such as shirts and bumper stickers that say "Get Clean with Poopaline." Learn more about EEB in the video and press release below. GM doing fine at retaining Pontiac owners

Fri, 28 Oct 2011

This isn't the first time we've reported positive news about General Motors retaining former Pontiac owners. Get a few more stories like this latest report from Edmund's Auto Observer, and it will mark an ongoing positive trend for GM. Edmunds.com crunched the numbers to see how well the General is hanging on to customers after shutting out the lights at Pontiac, and it found that nearly 40 percent of Pontiac owners stayed with a vehicle from a General Motors brand.
The numbers are a little lower than an earlier R.L. Polk & Company study, but Edmunds says General Motors is keeping more former Pontiac buyers than it has since 2007. Most are turning to vehicles from Chevrolet, especially during January and February of 2011, when GM incentivized Pontiac owners to stay under the umbrella. Those moves seem to have worked, and 28.1 percent of Pontiac owners trading up made the jump into a Bowtie.
Buyers that have gone elsewhere have largely stayed loyal to Domestic automakers, with Ford picking up the most conquests from Pontiac, with 9.4 percent switching. Toyota and Honda picked up 7.4 percent of the pool of former Pontiac drivers. The numbers are defying any predictions that Pontiac buyers would completely exit the General Motors fold, and have climbed up closer to parity with the retention figures of other GM brands from a 2009 low of only 16 percent retention.
