This is a very nice looking and excellent running Grand Am. The rare chrome wheels are in excellent condition and make the car real sharp. This car needs nothing. All the options work well and the engine and transmission run flawlessly. This is a low mileage, non smoker's car. I only sell cars on this site, so you don't have to search my feedback to find someone who bought a car from us. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car like this one. No exceptions. The tires and brakes are very recent ( the tires are like new ) I don't buy trade- ins or cars people were getting rid of. I am a state of Massachusetts licensed appraiser, so I know what to look for when buying a car. I've been in this business since 1974, when I graduated from college. We don't charge any fees. We don't charge storage so you have plenty of time to make a good deal on transporting, flights ( we live 45 minutes from two major airports ) or anything else. GM recalling 778,000 Cobalts and G5s, six deaths reported
Thu, 13 Feb 2014General Motors has announced that it will be recalling 778,562 compact cars after six people were killed in accidents, partially due to the airbags' failure to deploy. An issue with the ignition switch is causing the airbag issues, as well as causing the engine and other components to shut off without warning. The recall covers the 2005 to 2007 model year Chevrolet Cobalt and 2007 Pontiac G5. (Note that the Cobalt pictured above is a 2009 model.)
According to a report from Automotive News, a number of factors can cause the ignition to switch out of the run position, including weights on the key ring, rough or bumpy roads or other "jarring" events. Any of these situations could lead to some vehicle components not functioning properly.
There have been five fatal front-impact crashes that took the lives of six people, although as a GM spokesman noted, all five of the crashes happened off road and at high speed. In each of these cases, though, the lack of airbags wasn't the only lethal factor - alcohol and failure to wear a seat belt also played a role. Outside of the fatal accidents, there have been 17 other crashes where airbags didn't deploy. It's unclear if any of these crashes were caused by the engine shutting off.
Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day

Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems
Mon, 30 Jun 2014General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
