If you're looking for one of the best-kept, low-mileage G8 GTs in the country, you've found it.
For sale is my Pacific Slate Metallic 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. This car has only 48000 miles and has been extremely well cared for. Routine synthetic oil changes and maintenance. Not only is the G8 already a rare car having only been produced for 2 years, but Pacific Slate Metallic is the second rarest factory color as well as one of the most desired. Comes equipped with the Premium and Comfort packages adding options like black leather interior with heated 6-way adjustable front seats, 6-disc in-dash CD player, Blaupunkt sound system and more. Beyond the factory options, this G8 also has several high-quality aftermarket add ons including: - 20" Camaro wheels with Hankook Ventus v12 tires (tread - 8/10ths front, 5/10ths rear) - Cold Air Intake - Superchips Cortex Tuner (allows you to adjust speed limiter, rev limiter, shift points, gear ratio and more) - Custom straight pipe exhaust system with resonators and remote controlled electronic exhaust cutout system by BadlanzHPE (go from subtly aggressive exhaust note to race car at the push of a button) - Window tint You honestly won't find a better G8 GT anywhere else. With the 6.0L V8, tuner, exhaust and intake, this car is an unassuming 4-door monster that will beat Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers all day long. The only reason I am selling is because it doesn't get driven as much as it should. I hate to see it sit in the garage so I'm selling it to it's next lucky owner. This is the best performing car I have ever owned. Has given me no problems whatsoever. It has a few minor scratches and dings that I've tried to show in photos, but they are nothing you'd notice unless it was pointed out. Also has minor imperfections on the wheels but could easily be fixed. Price is firm. These cars are rare and have kept their value very well. In no hurry to sell. Clean and clear title in hand. Feel free to ask any questions. Payment by cash or cashiers check only. |

General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem
Thu, Feb 13 2014General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. Another Burt Reynolds Trans Am is up for auction
Wed, Jan 18 2017Fans of Smokey and the Bandit, your car has arrived. This Saturday, January 21, Barrett-Jackson will auction a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am clone that, while not originally in the movie, was owned and signed by the Bandit himself, Burt Reynolds. Not only that, but it packs many modifications that should make this Pontiac drive the way we all imagined it did. This is a Trans Am clone, not an original. The car was built by Nebraska company Restore A Muscle Car, and started life as a lowly Firebird Formula. However, the company brought it up to Trans Am grade and beyond. Under the hood is a fuel-injected 8.2-liter V8 from Butler Performance that Restore A Muscle Car says produces 600 horsepower. Coupled to the big V8 is a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. There's even Hurst line-lock on-board, so this Trans Am should be perfect for on-demand burnouts. The car also comes with QA1 coil-over suspension, so it should corner better than the original, too. The outside looks roughly like a stock Trans Am, but it now has 18-inch wheels styled after those from the movie car, and the shaker scoop says "8.2" on each side. View 5 Photos In 2014, a 1977 Trans Am owned by Reynolds sold for a whopping $450,000. That car wasn't an actual movie car either, and lacked the modifications of this one. However, it was used as a promotional car and was given to Reynolds, so it did have some history with the film. This upgraded car is listed in the Barrett-Jackson catalog as "no reserve," so it's going home with a new owner on Saturday, regardless of price. Related Video:
Florida man runs down bikers in traffic
Tue, May 31 2016A Florida biker and his passenger got a nasty surprise when a road rage incident turned ugly on Monday. According to WTSP, Joe Calderazzo was returning from a Veterans Memorial Day motorcycle rally around 5:30 pm with a group of fellow riders. During their ride, the group got entangled with an overly aggressive driver in a Pontiac. Abe Garcia of Tampa watched the silver Pontiac attempt to run the pack of bikers off the road, which started the altercation. The bikers caught up to the Pontiac in stopped traffic, and a shouting match ensued between the bikers and the Pontiac driver. At this point, Garcia pulled out his phone and started recording. The exchange escalated, and suddenly the Pontiac driver floored it, turned hard to the right, and ran over Calderazzo's Harley. The Pontiac mangled the Harley and knocked Calderazzo and his passenger to the ground. The Pontiac then fled the scene. WTSP spoke to Calderazzo as he was on his way to the hospital. "I thought the guy was trying to kill us obviously," said Calderazzo. "You know you don't know what's going through your mind. Is he going to put the car in reverse? Is he going to turn around? Is he going to stop and pull out a gun? You don't know what's going on." The Pontiac driver, a serial traffic offender named Robert Paul Vance, was picked up by police soon after the incident. He is charged with hit-and-run, a moving traffic violation, and aggravated battery.
