This is a dark blue 99 Pontiac Firebird v6 model with dual exhaust. It has an automatic transmission and manual door locks and windows. It does not have tee tops or a sunroof.

My sister in law purchased this car brand new to drive to high school and has owned it ever since. I purchased it from her in early 2013. I am selling it because I'm getting married and do not need the car any longer.

My sister in law put an engine in this car in November 2012 it had approx 100k miles on it at that time. The car currently has 120k miles. It drives great! Gets approximately 23 miles to the gallon. I drive it every day to and from work (approx 60 miles) with no problems!

What's wrong with the car? Nothing but cosmetics...
The passenger sun visor fell off (but is in the car if you want to try to fix it).
The passenger seat needs the little cable underneath the seat to unlock the latch to make it move back and forth (you can move it, but you have to pull the cable under the seat with your hand while lifting the main seat adjuster - not very difficult and also an easy fix).
The dash is cracked in multiple places. If you have ever searched or owned any if these cases, you know they were prone to cracking. This too can be fixed multiple ways - see JC Whitney, a dealership, or don't worry about it as I have. This doesn't affect any performance of the car, just an eye sore.
The exterior body, fenders, hood, hatchback, and all around outside looks of the car are in great shape.

This would make a perfect car for your child or yourself to drive daily or across the country.

The car is for sale locally, so I may end the auction early if needed.

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

Burt Reynolds Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am sells for $450k

Apparently, there's still a lot of love out there for by Burt Reynolds and his famous role in Smokey and the Bandit – or at least for his car. As you might remember, Autoblog reported on the auction of the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am a few week ago. At the time, the movie star's car was already well past its $80,000 top estimate, and bidding only shot up from there for a final price of $450,000. That seems like a lot of money for a Trans Am that never actually appears in Smokey and the Bandit. According to the listing, the car was used to promote the film and was given to Reynolds afterward with his name on the title as proof of ownership. The Trans Am looks practically identical to the one in the movie with black paint, the gold firebird on the hood and Bandit name on the driver's door. This one packs a 400-cubic-inch (6.6-liter) V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor under the hood, an automatic transmission and a plaque inside the door that proclaims "1977 Pontiac Trans Am Owned By Burt Reynolds." The wedding stagecoach based on an International Harvester Scout we mentioned in the earlier story also beat its top estimate of $20,000.
