2002 Pontiac Aztek Base Sport Utility 4-door 3.4l Used 02 Truck Gm Gmc 4dr Car on 2040-cars
Dearborn Heights, Michigan, United States
2002 I am the original owner of this vehicle which was purchased in Sterling Heights, MI, the title is CLEAR. I put all the mileage on this vehicle and will be able to answer any questions about the history. The vehicle is currently not running, was running last month, at times will start with a jump. The vehicle is being sold as non-running with no warranty. I was told that the vehicle needed head gaskets, fuel pump, and possible thermostat. I did recently have the heater core replaced, new starter installed, battery, and a push button start is currently on the vehicle. The vehicle is missing the jack, and fuse panel cover on the front passenger side. The vehicle has a very small dent on the rear quarter passenger panel along with some scratches, and rust inside the rear drivers side door frame. There is a burn mark on the dash near the driver's side. Crack in the lower part of the windshield. Shift indicator cover paper has sunken, and currently not visible at the present time, but is there. The vehicle was in a minor accident 3 years ago, which required the front fenders to be replaced, but did not sustain any frame damage. Due to needing new fenders they were replaced but in a different color, making it two-toned. The vehicle has a 6 way power driver seat, entertainment center, rear defrost, cd player, and On*Star is available. The tires have under 6,500 miles on them. It was a great vehicle the 12 years that I owned it. Comfortable ride, lots of space, and daughter loved the entertainment center. I don't have the know how or the time to put into the vehicle, so it's time to let it go. I hope it can find another home. One of Burt Reynolds' favorite cars could be yours
Fri, Apr 12 2019LOS ANGELES — One of Burt Reynolds' favorite cars is going up for auction in June along with some of his cowboy boots, hats, sports jackets and other items from his estate, Julien's Auctions said on Friday. The two-day auction in Beverly Hills, authorized by the actor's family, comes almost a year after the death at age 82 of the charming star who was one of Hollywood's favorite actors. The highlight of the auction is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am car that Reynolds used on photo shoots and drove on the Bandit Run cross country rally, which re-enacts the journey at the center of his 1977 film "Smokey and the Bandit." The car, which Reynolds co-owned with his business partner Gene Kennedy, is expected to fetch up to $500,000 at auction, Julien's said in a statement. Two pairs of leather cowboy boots — one red and one yellow — are also offered for sale with estimates ranging from $800 to $2,000 a pair, along with two cowboy hats. Reynolds started out as a football player at Florida State University (FSU) before injuries suffered in a car crash wrecked his hopes of a professional career. But his attachment to FSU remained strong. The auction includes several custom or personalized FSU baseball, basketball and varsity jackets. Other highlights include an oil on canvas painting of the actor's favorite horse titled "Cartouche," which carries an estimate of $20,000 - $30,000. Other art works, furniture and dozens of personal items are also being offered for sale. The auction will take place in Beverly Hills on June 15 and 16, and will be preceded by a public exhibition of some of the items from June 10-14. Reynolds, who was also known for the 1960s television series "Gunsmoke" and the movies "Deliverance" and "Boogie Nights,"" died of a heart attack in Florida in September 2018. Lutz says GM was working on 5th-gen Pontiac GTO
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Bob Lutz was one of the forces behind bringing the Holden Monaro to the United States, as the ill-fated Pontiac GTO in 2004. And while that car received critical acclaim, it was a sales disappointment. Now, Road & Track is reporting that our suspicions were correct - Pontiac was working on a two-door, G8-based coupe before it was shuttered.
In that R&T article, which is no longer available online, Lutz explained that the new GTO would solve many of the issues found in the original. Car Advice speculates that the new model would have look like a rebadged version of the Holden Coupe 60 Concept from 2008, a conclusion we also came to.
That car would have been a big departure from the 2004 to 2006 GTO. It has an extremely long hood and short rear deck, with an almost fastback roofline and a wide greenhouse with a tall beltline. The wheel arches were very pronounced, and the chin and rocker panel splitters gave it a race-ready look. Would it have been enough to make the GTO work in the US? We think it might of, but it looks like we'll never know.
