This Vehicle is in MINT Condition and has been stored in a garage for the past 4 years, only driven about 700 miles in the past year. This vehicle is a second owner, and from what I was told the first owner was older, had it in a garage for the past 4 years, covered and they bought it from an auction right out of the garage.
Even though this vehicle has not been driven much given the mileage, it has been serviced regularly. By the pictures you can tell that the tires still are about brand new, and I would estimate the tread to still be about 95% left. I was told that upon purchasing it, the tires were swapped out...so new tires were put on before I bought it about a year and a half ago. There is not any mechanical issues with this vehicle, as it has been to the shop for an oil change and even the guys get under the hood and ask how I got such a beauty. I hate to give up this vehicle, however family obligations, future business plans have gotten in the way. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING; THIS VEHICLE IS FINANCED THROUGH ALLY BANK. THERE WILL NEED TO BE A PAYOFF SUBMITTED TO THEM BEFORE THEY RELEASE THE TITLE, AND ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT IMMEDIATE IT WILL TAKE A FEW DAYS TO A WEEK TO GET TITLED TRANSFERRED. UPON BIDDING, YOU UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS. IF NOT, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE. THIS VEHICLE HAS ALSO BEEN INCLUDED IN A RECALL WITH GM, IT HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED YET. UPON PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, I WILL TAKE IT DOWN AND GET IT REPAIRED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RECALL GUIDELINES. UPON WINNING BID, THERE IS A $500.00 DEPOSIT THAT WILL BE DUE VIA PAYPAL. I WILL ASK THAT YOU COME PICK UP THE VEHICLE IN PERSON, AND THEN YOU CAN ARRANGE TO MEET THE SHIPPER'S HERE IN PERSON, OR DRIVE IT BACK YOURSELF OR HOWEVER YOU WOULD LIKE TO HANDLE IT. IT IS LOCATED HERE IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA. THIS IS NOT A HARD PLACE TO GET TO, AND I'M SURE YOU DON'T HAVE TO TWIST ANYONE'S ARM TO GET OUT THERE. UPON PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, I WILL TAKE IT TO A DETAIL SHOP AND GET IT WASHED FOR YOU. PLEASE SEE PICTURES, THEY WERE JUST TAKEN A FEW HOURS AGO HERE IN LAS VEGAS. THIS IS THE CAR YOU ARE GETTING. MINT CONDITION ACCEPT FOR WHERE NOTED. THIS IS A VERY SWEET RIDE, GREAT FOR YOU, BAD FOR ME. HAPPY BIDDING. EITHER TEXT ME AT 805-260-2255 OR E-MAIL THEVEGASTEAM@GMAIL.COM FOR ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. VEHICLE IS ALSO LISTED HERE LOCALLY, AND AUCTION MAY END AT ANY TIME AT THE SELLERS DISCRETION. |

This Hoonigan mechanic's twin-turbo Trans Am is wonderful
Thu, Mar 24 2016What do you drive when you work on rally machines for a living? Probably a Subaru WRX, and that's what Gregg Hamilton had for a while until working on his car felt too much like his day job. So when he moved from New Zealand to the US to work for Ken Block (with a few stops along the way) he bought something entirely different. This is Gregg's 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. It's a throwback to another time, but it's anything but stock. It has that magic combination of a big V8 with a manual transmission and rear drive, just like the tin-top racers Gregg watched in his Kiwi youth. He bought it sight unseen from its previous owner in Alabama, and has been tinkering with it ever since. There's something about the flared wheel arches and the classic Firebird gold-striped black livery that has us smitten. Scope out the six-minute clip above from Petrolicious and see if you don't fall for Gregg's Pontiac as well.
Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT
Fri, 10 Oct 2014The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.
Motorweek looks back at the Pontiac Aztek
Thu, Jul 9 2015The Pontiac Aztek has earned a position as this generation's ultimate, automotive punchline. Even other execrable models like the Yugo or Mustang II probably get more respect these days just out of their sheer quirkiness, but the Aztek remains a joke. Fortify your mind for what's coming, though, because the much-maligned Pontiac might not be quite so atrocious, at least according to MotorWeek's latest Retro Review video. MotorWeek calls the Aztek, "GM's first true crossover vehicle," and it's amazing to think of the hated model as a progenitor of one of the most popular segments today. While admitting that the looks are polarizing, John Davis and company actually come away pleased with the Aztek's utility. They praise that there's a ton of room in the back, and the interior is packed with useful features like a removable cooler in the center console and radio controls in a cargo area. The show is even impressed with how the Pontiac drives and throws around accolades like "nimble" and "pleasant." After seeing the Aztek leading the pack on lists of the worst vehicles of all time for years, listening to it get such effusive praise is actually quite jarring. Could we all be so wrong? No, there's absolutely no debate that this is still a hideous automobile. However, MotorWeek asserts a complete reversal of the generally perceived wisdom about the early CUV. While unexpected, thinking about such an abhorred model in a different way is a cool experience. Check out the video for a different take on the Aztek.
