This is my 1968 Pontiac Firebird. I bought it about 3 years ago and never got around to starting it. I have two other major projects going on now and don't have the time. This is what the car has. Suspension-- new steering linkage, bushings ball joints and front coil overs. New rear springs, shackles, rear shocks. Drivetrain-- rebuilt 400 with 4x heads- never fired- rebuilt 350 tranny with converter. 10 bolt rear. 3 tube header but no exhaust. New motor mounts and starter. No alternator, or steering pump. No radiator. --4 wheel disc brakes with new booster, master cylinder and brake lines. Body-- replaced both quarter, floor pans and trunk center section. New gas tank, traps and gas tank mounts. New subframe bushing also. Have 90% of interior. Have all glass except front windshield and drivers window. Driver fender is good and pass fender has lower patch but usable. Doors have dents on them from being strapped down when it was shipped from Florida when I bought it. Can be fixed or reskinned . Pass side Quarter panel have two small dents on it and driver side has a 5 inch long dent on the body line between the gills and a small dent behind the wheel above the body line. Tail panel has a slit in it by the lock and some bondo on it so knot sure how bad. Roof and deck lid is good no dents. Window Chanel's are good also no holes. Frame and front subframe is solid. Looks like it was already painted Car need pass side front wheel well and both trunk drop offs. Starting to rust under the dash, would need some attention. Front bumper is good or can rechrome, rear bumper has a whole the size of a silver dollar in it. Looks like i have all the trim and emblems. Has a 400 hood with hole for hood tack that I have. This is a very good car to restore with a lot of new parts. I'm a car guy that builds cars and bought cars on eBay before so I'm trying to be as honest as possible with the car so there's no suprises. I did not take this car apart so I'm not sure if all the hardware is here. Performance years,Ames and OPGI are good Pontiac company's and you can get pretty much anything for this car. Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro

If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
