This is my 1988 Fiero GT 5-speed in original Bright Red with Grey Leather interior. The car has low 70xxx miles for the year and is in fantastic condition inside and out. Service is up to date with many new parts and the car runs and drives just as good as it looks. This car has been garaged during my ownership and driven very little, only a few hundred miles, since I bought hence the reason I am selling it. This is the nicest of the three Fieros I have owned and in fact is one of the nicest I've ever seen in person. She will make someone very happy just I have been with her.
If you are reading this ad then you know how very rare this car is and that it has most all the optional factory equipment in the most popular color combination. I will make this listing as absolutely thorough and honest as I can because I have bought cars that were misrepresented therefor I wouldn't do the same to someone else. The engine has been serviced with new fluids, filters, plugs, wires, several sensors, vacuum lines, hoses, and runs perfect with no hesitation, smoke, leaks or anything out of the ordinary. Transmission shifts perfectly with no slippage or odd behavior. Car has never been overheated and the cooling system works as it should, it gets to temperature and stays there with perfect fan engagement when needed. The AC system has been fully and professionally converted to R134a and blows ICE COLD. Suspension feels good and has newer brake pads. The previous owner replaced the muffler with straight pipes to the stock exhaust outlets which gives it a nice rumble but not too loud and the catalytic converter is in good condition. Battery is new and this car starts up like a new car every time. Paint is new and true to factory original color, it was repainted to remove the usual sun scorching on the top panels and looks fantastic. There is no damage nor has it been in any accidents. Only slight issues are that one quarter window has a crack and minor imperfections on the bumpers due to their age. The car looks like new even up close and would need very little to be perfect on the outside. All lights work including rebuilt headlights. Sunroof does not leak nor do any of the other seals. Interior is all original and looks great. Dash and console panels are crack free and in very nice condition. Power windows, door locks, mirrors, windows, cruise control, dash lights and gauges all work flawlessly. Carpet is nice and the leather seats are good with one small rub spot on the drivers bolster, an easy repair. Does not have the typically awful headliner panel, as it was removed by previous owner. Car needs no mechanical work at all!
All in all this a clean low mile Fiero, a perfect example of a great car to keep in the garage for fun weekends or a beautiful daily driver. It has been well cared for and driving it is an absolute blast. I fully intended to restore and keep her but the time has come to make some room in the garage. You will not be disappointed with this car, I get more questions and compliments on her than any other car I've owned.
I have a photobucket account with all the pictures you would need to see and will email it to any serious buyer.
ATTN: I would really like to sell this car but I'm not desperate, so please feel free to make a reasonable offer and let's talk. I have already gotten offers near $5,000 so if you can't meet or beat that then don't waste my time or yours. This is my last price reduction, thanks for looking.

Build your dream garage with this insane prize from Omaze
Wed, Jan 19 2022Autoblog may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability is subject to change. No donation or payment necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes. See official rules on Omaze. Normally when we write about Omaze sweepstakes, they involve a car that you'd never go out and buy on your own. A six-figure camper van build, a $300,000 Ford Bronco restoration, a Land Rover Defender that's so beautiful it should be in a museum. Today's prize might beat out all of those, because not only could you win a dream car, you'll be entered for a chance to win $100k cash to go along with it. There are a lot of cars you can buy with $100k. You could buy a Land Cruiser Heritage Edition or a Mustang GT500 or 6 Chevy Sparks and start your own racing series. Personally, if I won that kind of dough, assuming I also won this Bentley Bentayga, my favorite of Omaze's current offerings, I'd probably use some of it to buy something quirky, like a Honda Element converted into a pop-top camper, or a restored/upgraded 60 series Land Cruiser. Think that's a terrible way to spend the cash? That's the beauty of it. It is completely up to you. No one can tell you what to do with it. Except maybe your spouse. Here are our favorite vehicle giveaways we’ve found online this week: 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition - Enter at Omaze Regardless of what you think about Ford using the name Mustang for an electric crossover, one thing is for certain, the Mustang Mach-E GT is an impressive piece of machinery. Here are the specs of the Mach-E in question, according to Omaze: Maximum Seating: 5 Engine: fully electric motors Drivetrain: eAWD Exterior Color: Rapid Red Metallic  Interior Color: Black Maximum Horsepower: 480 hp Maximum Torque: 634 lb-ft Acceleration: 0-60 in 3.5 seconds Range: 235 miles Approximate Retail Value: $75,500 Cash Alt: $56,625 Special Features: GT Performance Edition; panoramic fixed-glass roof; Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 and 360-degree camera; Brembo brakes; RTR Design Package including 20” RTR Aero 5 wheels, Nitto NT555 G2 tires and RTR Speed Block graphics Win a Restored 1969 Pontiac GTO - Enter at Omaze Joel Stocksdale, News Editor: There are an awful lot of ways to build a restomod.
MotorWeek's 80's GM muscle coupe roundup includes Regal GN and Monte Carlo SS
Thu, Jan 29 2015Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). MotorWeek, in its hugely entertaining retro flashbacks, looks back on these three long-lost GM performance icons, and it's just as good as you might expect. This 1927 Oakland is a minimalist hot rod
Fri, 21 Feb 2014There are hundreds of American automakers that sprung up during the dawn of the automotive era, only to fold into obscurity or get gobbled up by what would eventually become the Big Four (yes, we're counting AMC here). Oakland is one such company, which was the forbearer for General Motors' Pontiac division. Sold until 1931, you simply don't see Oakland-badged cars anymore. Unless, that is, you know Brian Bent.
Bent drives a 1927 Oakland that still rides on wooden wheels. Its original wooden wheels, from the sound of it. That makes this anachronist and his Oakland the perfect subject for a Petrolicious video. Like many of the cars highlighted by Petrolicious, this old Oakland has had some work done to it, featuring a Pontiac flathead engine that's been pushed forward and a clutch pack built by Bent.
Take a look below for a closer look at this rare and fascinating Oakland.
