2003 Nissan Xterra 4x4 with Navigation System (Jensen VM9424 System)
5 Speed Automatic Transmission
Black/Gray, 79,600 certified miles (Autocheck available)..........ONLY 79,600 MILES!

Never an accident
Clean Ttile in hand, Inspection through 2/15

>>>>>>>>>>PLEASE NOTE AUTOCHECK IS WRONG about potential mileage rollback and I understood this when I went up to Rhode Island to purchase it (Carfax is perfect!)<<<<<<<<<<<

When the dealer I purchased this from registered this on 6/9/12( after buying it at auction ) with Maine's DMV,the DMV accidentally put the mileage from all the way back in 10/28/04 in CT. as you can clearly see (19,754)

Excellent Condition inside and out as I have done a number of upgrades and work on it, but don't need 2 vehicles as I am moving South. It was amazing this past winter in the snow with the new Nokian Rotiiva A/T Tires I put on it and had a great time blowing by everyone stuck in the snow.

Here is a list of work /Upgrades I personally put on it since I bought it in November, 2012:

Battery and Belts replaced ($230)
Bilstein Shocks ($230)
2 New Leaf Springs as one was cracked ($520)
Jensen VM9424 Stereo/Navigation System($480)
Rockford Fosgate Speakers ($190)
Exhaust replaced ($220)
Bull Bar with Fog Lights ($320)
Tail light Guards ($60)
4 NEW Nokian Rotiiva A/T Tires in October of 2013 have less than 2k miles on them ($880)

prices above included installation and I only bought the Best (Bilstein Shocks,Nokian Rotiiva's,etc...)

The 2003/2004 Xterras were the best made and this has a ton of life left and drives amazingly...Transmission shifts perfectly, and this is a head turner in general which I hate to sell but won't need down South at all

Full new spare,4 wheel abs, perfect A.C., on and on

Feel free to come preview/test drive this in Valley Forge, Pa. and buyer responsible for pickup and cash on delivery

Again, OUSTANDING Shape in general and a great ride....Good Luck!

B/O and I prefer Cash please

Should heavy-duty pickup trucks have window stickers with fuel mileage estimates?

Sat, Sep 23 2017

If you were to stroll into your nearest Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Nissan, or Ram dealership, you'd find a bunch of pickup trucks. Most of those would have proper window stickers labeled with things like base prices, options prices, location of manufacture, and, crucially, fuel economy estimates. But you'd also run across a number of heavy-duty trucks with no such fuel mileage data from the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA doesn't require automakers to publish the valuable miles-per-gallon measurement for vehicles with gross weight ratings that exceed 8,500 pounds. That makes it difficult for consumers to compare behemoths powered by turbocharged diesel engines – between one another, and between smaller, gasoline-fueled trucks. Consumer Reports doesn't think it should be this way, and it's spearheading an effort (PDF link) to get the government to require manufacturers to publish fuel economy estimates. In its own testing, CR found that heavy-duty pickups powered by Ford's Power Stroke, GM's Duramax, and FCA's Cummins diesel engines (which doesn't include the Ram's EcoDiesel) get worse fuel mileage than their lighter-duty gas-powered siblings. We're not so sure HD-truck buyers are unaware of this fact – big diesels don't really come into their own until big loads are placed in their beds or attached to their trailer hitches. Under heavy workloads, the diesel trucks will almost certainly return greater efficiency than a similar gas-powered truck. What's more, HD trucks with lumbering diesels in general make the driver feel more confident while towing due to greater torque at low engine RPM than gas trucks. They also offer greater max-weight limits. Still, we agree EPA fuel mileage estimates should be offered for heavy-duty pickups. And we think the comparisons provided by Consumer Reports might be interesting to potential buyers. Click here to see the results of CR's tests, and let us know what you think using the poll below. 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

Michigan is one of those places where we can sub-divide the seasons into good and bad portions, with each producing a noticeable shift. The week prior to my time in the 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo, it was 65 to 70 degrees and sunny, all week long. Anyone care to guess what the following week was like?
Windy, cold and damp weather typified my week in the Z, with temps hovering around 55 degrees and several days of showers. Yes, I got the first week of the bad part of fall. The Z was hardly happy during its time with me, but we both persevered, and I made a point of sprinting out to the garage anytime the ground seemed remotely dry enough to test this striking two-seater. That enthusiasm waned quickly, though, as the week wore on.
By all accounts, the Z is a car that I should like. It's an uncompromising sports car, but as I discovered during my travels, sometimes a little compromise is welcome, and living with a car like the Z - particularly the angrier, Nismo-tuned model - quickly becomes a case of too much of a good thing.

2013 Nissan e-NV200 taxi will carry Catalunians quietly beginning next year

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

The Nissan e-NV200, currently in the final phases of testing with FedEx fleets in various countries, will be getting more demanding cargo next year in Barcelona when it goes into service as a taxi. Unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show by Carlos Ghosn and with the mayor of Barcelona, Xavier Trias, in attendance, the e-NV200 is the van slightly reworked into a unique design and resting on a Leaf electric powertrain.
The NV200 van is built in Barcelona, and when the electric version goes into production there next year it will begin its public beta will as part of a set of initiatives the Spanish city has for zero-emissions transportation. Nissan will be helping with the build-out of infrastructure such as charging stations, while the city elders get to work on allocating privileges and special spaces for the e-NV200 taxi drivers.
After the Catalonian debut Nissan says the electric hauler will make its way to other parts of the world. Nothing's been said yet about whether it will join our combustion-engined NV200 taxis in New York. You can take a look at the fare-driven future in the high-res gallery above, and read more about it in the press release below.
