IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK, PLEASE CONTACT SELLER BEFORE BIDDING!
THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. Here we have up for auction a beautiful 2002 Nissan Xterra XE 4x4. I have owned this truck for about 3 years and have kept it well maintained since I've had it. This truck has a new timing belt and water pump, that was done about 7,000 miles ago. Also, it has Goodyear Wrangler RTS tires that were installed about 5,000 miles ago. I am selling this truck because I have too many vehicles in my collection. EXTERIOR: Exterior is well above average, there is no previous paintwork, nor any accidents. There are some minor scuffs and dings, but does not detract from the condition of the vehicle. INTERIOR: Interior is in great condition, with no rips or tears, just mild wear. ENGINE: Engine is quiet and sounds great, with no issues. TRANSMISSION: Transmission shifts through all of its gears the way it should. 4x4: 4x4 works great and gets out of the snow in a snap of a finger. ELECTRONICS: All electronics work the way they should. TIRES: Tires have 95% left on the treads. This is a great 4x4 and the next owner will definitely enjoy this truck. Bid with confidence from Toys_and_Collectibles. Any questions, call Scott at 914-490-6037. Note: Winning bidder needs to pick up the vehicle within 7-10 days. |

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: July-September 2013
Thu, 03 Oct 2013
This Nissan is the most in-demand long-term vehicle we've ever had.
They may not readily fall into the sweet spot of driving enthusiasts, but our year-long test of this Nissan is proving to be an object lesson in why crossovers are so popular - especially large ones like our three-row Pathfinder. In fact, it's been so busy that it's hardly been at a standstill long enough to pen an update, which is why this one is late. Simply put, this Nissan is the most in-demand long-term vehicle we've ever had, racking up more miles and more long-distance trips than any LT vehicle in the Autoblog stable.
Nissan's Le Mans prototype V6 to power next GT-R
Fri, May 1 2015You can debate all you want about whether racing has any relevance to road cars. And while you're doing that, Nissan will be getting the most out of its GT-R LM Nismo. In fact, the latest reports indicate that the Japanese automaker will use the engine (or some version thereof) in the next-generation GT-R. The Nissan GT-R LM Nismo, for those who may have missed it, is the company's radical attempt to take on the Audis, Porsches and Toyotas of the top-tier LMP1 class in the FIA World Endurance Championship. And to do so at its flagship event, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Only unlike its rivals, it's not a mid-engined, all-wheel-drive design; both the engine and the driven wheels are at the front end. That engine, however, isn't actually all that radical. It's a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 550 horsepower. Potent, but nothing earth-shattering. In fact it's not far off from the 545-hp 3.8-liter unit in the current production GT-R. And according to Top Gear, in speaking with the racing program's director Ben Bowlby, it will be essentially the same engine that will power the next road-going GT-R. Now if you're thinking that something's missing here, you're right: the GT-R LM Nismo packs a lot more than 550 horses. It actually has over 1,250 on tap. The remaining 700 hp are kicked in by the electric component of the racing prototype's hybrid powertrain. The next GT-R is widely expected to incorporate hybrid technology as well, but it won't be good for 700 hp all on its own. And it will almost certainly be driving all four wheels like the current version. Related Video:
Semi-autonomous Nissan Leaf certified for road use in Japan [w/video]
Sat, 28 Sep 2013In order to meet its goal of having an autonomous car in production by 2020, Nissan is going to have be able to test its technology in real-world driving conditions. For this, the automaker has just received a license plate to legally test its semi-autonomous driver assist systems in Japan, marking the first time such technologies have been tested on that country's roads. Not ironically, the license plate number is 2020.
Though not fully autonomous, this Leaf prototype will test various components of a self-driving car including exiting the highway, the ability to stay in its lane and change lanes when needed, stopping at red lights and overtaking stopped or slow traffic. Nissan is also in the process of building a proving ground in Oppama, Japan dedicated solely to autonomous cars, but the ability to test on public roads will obviously play a crucial role in the development of these cars. Scroll down for a short video and press release Nissan posted to mark the occasion.
