2004 Nissan Maxima Se Sedan 4-door 3.5l - Parts Only - No Title on 2040-cars

This vehicle was serviced at the repair facility that does all the repairs on my vehicles. I am listing the car for that person because I am familiar with ebay. Here is all that is know about this Maxima: It was towed from a Nissan Dealer as an abandon vehicle. From what I understand (this could be true or not) it was brought to the dealer because it did not run. MANY hours of diagnosis were spent and parts were purchased but the owner of the car refused to authorize the amount of money required to get it running and also refused to pay the diagnosis on the vehicle. There are multiple computers on the passenger seat (at least one looks like it came from a junk yard). A lot of the car has been disassembled (as you can see from the pictures) due to a technician tracing wires etc. The car was not in an accident and the parts are able to be put back on such as bumper cover etc. The engine cranks over, seems like it has good compression however does not run. The battery is dead. The car is dirty. It has damage (also in pictures). I cannot tell you anything about what is wrong with the car (no fuel, no spark etc). Carfax shows 1 accident on 5/20/07 and 2 total owners. I will be happy to answer any questions if I am able but I do not know much of the history on this car. It can be seen during normal working hours and is located in Ware, MA. This auction has no reserve and will be sold to the highest bidder. I will not be providing or arranging any kind of transportation so that must be taken care of by the buyer. Again, this car can NOT be registered and has no title. It can be used for parts etc. Thank you and happy bidding.

2015 Nissan Murano could have been a lot more boring to look at
Thu, 19 Jun 2014When it debuted at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the third-generation Nissan Murano wowed us more than just about any other car on hand (that's sort of why we handed it an Editors' Choice for the NYIAS). It's sharp, aggressive design was a dramatic departure from the smoother styling of the second-gen CUV, although it wasn't too polarizing. Most importantly, though, it was a vehicle with actual design presence - you want to see it from every angle, all of which draw your eye with something new.
Of course, settling on the design for a new vehicle is far from a straightforward process. While a design might take shape on a designer's drafting table, there are a huge number of steps it needs to get through before making it to an auto show stage or to your local dealer. According to Nissan engineer Chris Reed, those steps very nearly curtailed the Murano's design before the first die was even cast.
Reed has a full account of this sharp design's trials and tribulations in a must-read story from Ward's.
Nissan Micra gets fresh new look [w/video]
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Nissan has given its popular Micra a substantial refresh. Completely revised fascias front and rear join small sheetmetal tweaks for an all-new look, and Nissan says buyers can expect to find a host of new technology indoors. That includes audio USB and AUX-in slots as well as a new audio and touchscreen navigation system with a larger display. Designers have also graced the model - known in some markets as the Nissan March - with a revised center console and new trim indoors. Be still our beating hearts.
Under the hood, a supercharged, direct-injection 1.2-liter gasoline three-cylinder engine continues to produce 97 horsepower, complete with a stop/start system that Nissan says helps make this powertrain one of the most efficient in the world. Buyers can also opt for diesel and non-supercharged engines if they so choose.
While periodically rumored, Nissan has no plans to bring the model to North America, but with sales in 56 nations and assembly in four different countries, the little Micra remains a big deal worldwide. You can check out an official video and press release below for more information.
Nissan Leaf Aero Style wears new body kit in Japan
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Here we have the Nissan Leaf Aero Style, which the automaker says "offers 100% electric vehicle performance in a new stylish and sporty shape." We call it a Nissan Leaf with a not-terribly-attractive body kit and two-tone wheels. Suffice it to say, it's not much like the conceptual version Nissan showed off at the Tokyo Motor Show back in 2011...
Our blunt assessment of the Leaf Aero Style doesn't necessarily mean it's bad, of course. It's still, best we can tell, a Nissan Leaf through and through, which means it has the same 107 horsepower, 187 pound-feet of torque and 24-kWh battery pack as every other new Leaf. That, in turn, means it has an official range of 75 miles (though you're probably better off assuming you can get 50 or so miles per charge in the real world) and a top speed of 90 miles per hour.
The Nissan Leaf Aero Style will go on sale in Japan in December of 2013, and there's no word on whether or not it will make its way to the States. There's also no official word on whether the Aero Style is actually any more aerodynamic than the standard Leaf, one of the slipperier cars on the market.
