This 2002 Nissan Maxima has been in my family for over a decade now. My parents owned it before me and it has always been well taken care of. All of the scheduled maintenance was done on time and the exterior and interior of the car has been maintained very well over the years.
Some notes about the cars current condition:
The car needs new brake pads
The car has vibration in the front driver side wheel. This vibration has been there for a long time and my mechanic says it's the brake pads.
That's It! Everything else is amazing on the car. All the electronics work and it has great AC (needed in FL). The fact is, Nissan makes amazing vehicles and this car will run another 200k miles easily. I'm selling it because it's time for me to move on. I already own an alternative form of transportation and the car is not being used but once a week for bulk grocery shopping.
At a dealership, a car in this condition would easily cost $7,000 before you pay your fees, taxes and finance charges. Under normal circumstances this would come to nearly $10,000. I'm not trying to give the car away but I want to be fair about the price. I'm starting the auction at $4000. It's worth way more than that. Happy bidding!

Nissan bringing 2014 Versa Note to Detroit
Sat, 12 Jan 2013Nissan today confirmed that it will be showing the 2014 Versa Note - not Versa, not Note, but Versa Note - at next week's 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And while we can't see a whole lot from this one teaser image, we're willing to bet that the car looks a lot like this.
All Nissan will tell us at this time is that the Versa Note will have "segment-exclusive technology, outstanding fuel economy, smart packaging and class-leading cargo space." Sounds... class-competitive.
Given how turned-off we are by the second-generation Versa sedan, it'll be interesting to see just what's in store for this Notably more functional version of the affordable compact. Recharge Wrap-up: Tesla will sell Model S on Alibaba in China, Wrightspeed electrifies garbage trucks
Tue, Oct 21 2014Tesla will sell cars in China using Alibaba's Tmall website. Customers will be able to use the Chinese shopping site to place an $8,200 deposit toward a Model S. Tmall will feature 18 preconfigured versions for customers to choose from, which won't offer quite the level of customization as Tesla's US site. Bloomberg's Jamie Butters calls it a "defensive move" on Tesla's part, and still expects the company to sell cars in China the traditional way. Watch the video at Bloomberg or read more at Bidness Etc. Tesla co-founder Ian Wright's company Wrightspeed is converting garbage trucks to EVs. The same brand that created the exciting X1 EV is making trash collection much cleaner. "Garbage trucks are the perfect driving cycle for us: they get two or three miles per gallon, drive 130 miles a day with 1,000 hard stops that chew on the brakes," says Wright. The system puts an electric motor at each of the truck's drive wheels, and includes an on-board generator that runs on diesel or natural gas to extend driving range. Read more at Xconomy. British company Hillside Leisure is converting the Nissan e-NV200 into a camper van. The electric RV, called the DalburyE, debuted at the UK's Motorhome and Caravan Show in Birmingham. It sleeps up to four people, and features a pop-up roof, a gas stove, fridge, sink and other amenities.
