NISSAN FRONTIER IN GREAT CONDITION. THIS TRUCK IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND EVERYTHING THAT I KNOW WORKS ON IT. IT HAS BEEN VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF SINCE NEW AND HAS NO MAJOR FLAWS, THE INTERIOR WILL SHOW HOW WELL AND CLEAN THE TRUCK HAS LIVED. THE TRUCK IS ALWAYS GARAGE KEPT AND WAXED TWICE YEARLY REGARDLESS OF MILES DRIVEN. THE TRUCK IS A 3RD OWNER FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD. IT HAS NEARLY EVERY RECEIPT OF OIL CHANGES TO TUNE UPS ALONG WITH IT. IT IS A 2002 MODEL, V6 , 5 SPEED , EXT CAB, DESERT RUNNER PACKAGE, 133,XXX MILES. IT CRANKS, RUNS, PULLS, IDLES, DRIVES PERFECT, NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER MECHANICALLY...** NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON**. THE A/C WILL LITERALLY FREEZE YOU OUT AND I NEVER TURN IT MUCH PAST 2 ON THE BLOWER, I HAVE ALSO NEVER HAD TO RECHARGE IT OR ADD R134 OR HAD ANY LEAKS.... IT WORKS GREAT. THE OIL ALWAYS CHANGED EVERY 3,000 MILES. THE OUTIDE OF THE TRUCK LOOKS GREAT AND WILL BE HARD TO FIND A TRUCK SO WELL TAKEN CARE OF WITH HARDLY ANY IMPERFECTIONS IN THE METAL AND PAINT IS NEARLY PERFECT. IT HAS BEEN LIFTED 2-3 INCHES AND LARGER (VERY EXPENSIVE) ENKIE 18X9.5 WHEELS WITH 305/60/18 TIRES. WHEELS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION AND TIRES ARE ABOUT 40%. IT ALSO HAS THE STOCK MUFFLER REMOVED AND A MORE SMOOTH FLOWING THRUST MUFFLER ADDED TO THE EXHAUST SYSTEM. IT SOUNDS SLIGHTLY DEEPER THAN STOCK AND THE EXHAUST PIPE IS TUCKED HIGHER TO THE BODY FOR INCREASED LOOKS. IT ALSO HAS A COLD AIR INTAKE TO IMPROVE AIR FLOW AND HELP ON FUEL MILEAGE AND POWER, THIS ALSO GIVES IT A LITTLE DEEPER ROAR WHILE ACCELERATING. OTHER AFTERMARKET PARTS ARE THE HEADLIGHTS WHICH I BELIEVE MAKE THE TRUCK LOOK 200% BETTER AND WAY MORE AGGRESSIVE. THEY ARE BLACK BACKGROUND AND COME WITH 6000K H.I.D. IN THE ANGEL EYES THAN THE OTHER ARE YOUR H1 BRIGHT LIGHTS. I ALSO HAVE MATCHING FOG LIGHTS WITH IT AS WELL THAT ARE HOOKED IN WITH THE HEADLIGHTS. IF YOU NOTICE THE RINGS AROUND ALL THE LIGHTS AND HEADLIGHTS THEY ACTIVATE AS SOON AS YOU TURN THE SWITCH ON SO THEY LOOK MORE LIKE AN AUDI OR BMW AND STAY ON DURING THE DAY AND NIGHT WHICH LOOKS AWESOME. I ALSO PAINTED THE BAR ON THE GRILL BLACK FOR A MEANER LOOK. NEXT UP AFTERMARKET IN THE STEREO IN WHICH I HAVE WIRED UP A 15INCH KICKER SUB AND I BELIEVE 1200WATT AMP. THIS THING SOUNDS AMAZING AND THE CLARITY IS TRULY UNBELIEVABLE. I HAVE IT TUNED FOR A LOW CRISP SOUND BECAUSE IF YOU TURN IT UP ITS WAY TOO LOUD FOR THAT SMALL CAB, BUT WITH THE TWEETERS AND ALL IT SOUNDS AWESOME. THE WIRES ARE ALL TUCKED OUT OF SITE AND CORRECTLY DONE. NEXT I INSTALLED A RALLY MIRROR THAT REALLY MAKES THIS THING DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER TRUCK I HAVE BEEN IN. THIS 5 PANEL MIRROR MAKES USING YOUR SIDE MIRRORS OBSOLETE AND LOOKS VERY NEAT FROM THE INSIDE OUR OUTSIDE. I ALSO ADDED A SLIM BLACK TOOLBOX WHICH IS MADE FOR THIS TRUCK SINCE TOYOTA TRUCK, FORD RANGER, DODGE DAKOTA, RAM TRUCKS, ETC ALL CAN RUN A NORMAL TOOLBOX THIS ONE HAS TO BE ANGLED AT THE BOTTOM. LOOKS GREAT BEING LOW PROFILE AND HAS PLENTY OF STORAGE. A HITCH I BELIEVE 2INCH WAS ADDED, AND TINTED WINDOWS BUT LEGAL %. SINCE MANY PARTS WERE REPLACED OR TAKEN OFF THIS TRUCK I DO STILL HAVE THEM SUCH AS - BUG REFLECTOR, BED LINER, STOCK HEADLIGHTS, REAR VIEW MIRROR, STOCK MUD FLAPS, ETC. THE INTERIOR IS GREAT AND LOOKS HARDLY USED. ALL SEATS WINDOWS, BUTTONS, KNOBS, ETC ALL WORK AS THEY SHOULD. SEATS RECLINE, SLIDE, LOOK AND WORK AS SHOULD, EVEN THE BACK BUCKET SEAT WORKS GREAT. CONSOLE, GLOVE BOX, ETC ALL WORK AND ARE NOT BROKEN. THE TRUCK COMES WITH A SPARE KEY. THE MILEAGE WILL GO UP SINCE I DO DRIVE IT SOMETIMES, IT'S JUST NOT MY PRIMARY VEHICLE AND ANOTHER REASON OF THE GREAT CONDITION. THIS IS A TRUCK YOU CAN GET IN AND DRIVE ANYWHERE AND PEOPLE LOVE THIS TRUCK AND COMMENT ALL THE TIME OF THE GREAT LOOKS! IM ASKING $7,700 AND YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME LOOK AND DRIVE IT. JUST CALL OR TXT ME BECAUSE IT IS STORED A FEW MILES FROM MY APARTMENT AT MY PARENTS HOUSE. JUST PLEASE DONT CALL OR TXT ASKING QUESTIONS THAT ARE COVERED IN THE ADD, PLEASE READ THIS TWICE, HOWEVER I AM SURE I DID MISS A FEW THINGS. i will only trade for dodge diesel 2500, plus i can give cash. NO OTHER TRADES!

Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with
Mon, 12 May 2014Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.
Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?
Mon, Feb 27 2017We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.
