2006 Nissan Frontier LE - Luxury Edition - Extended Cab Truck, with rear suicide-like-doors and full-size 6-foot bed: only 60k miles on the clock (and really clean condition, plus all services performed and paperwork contained since purchase earlier this year). We've used the truck to transport Art and Antiques and need to upgrade to a van! Please feel free to ask any questions about our truck, and our experience and use of it over the last year - happy to help - as we will do our best to answer as best as possible all we know.

  • Condition: We believe we are the 2nd owners of the truck, its been babied by us - all maintenance performed in the 10k we've driven it over the last year and it's been everything you'd expect of a reliable Nissan product; mostly we have used it to transport Auction items and now need a van.  Were selling it to the highest bidder who needs a CLEAN and VERY RELIEABLE truck from a non-smoking environment, and will give it a good home & the exercise the V6 4.0 Engine that craves speed!
  •

  • Features: If your looking at this particular model you are interested in the front and rear doors that clam-shell open to access the cab cleanly and completely to add cargo room, the bed is the FULL SIZE 6-footer, it includes the Utilitrak Cargo Tie-Down System for clamping down boxes, a boat, or Motorcycle (via the floor runners on the coated bed). The LE (Luxury Edition) has the enhancements of Chrome-Package and Running Boards not found on basic SV or SE base models; and front Fog-Lamps.
  •

  • History: We traded in a 2007 BMW Station Wagon to buy the truck earlier this year, we honestly thought it would solve all our problems in transporting MORE ITEMS than the wagon: but the truck doesn't have a topper, and vision with one added can be tough, for this reason we have decided to upgrade to a van; and rather than go back through the Dealership Doubletalk we'd rather honestly sell the Truck to honest folks like us looking for a great truck to fulfill their own business needs and you will find this one is a beaut!  We added all-weather rubber Nissan Floor Mats - real OEM - for the front and passenger; new Sumitomo Tires came on the Truck, which only have 10k in tread added (and plenty left for the next owner)...

Thanks to a year of free charges, Nissan Leaf sees sales increase in Texas

    Mon, Mar 10 2014

Nissan is pretty certain that free charging offers in the two largest metropolitan areas in Texas are substantially boosting sales of the Leaf electric vehicle. Heck, one Houston car dealer says Leaf sales have tripled because of the plan, which is run by NRG through its batch of eVgo Freedom Stations. Each of these stations has a fast-charging outlet and a standard Level 2 cord where EV drivers can plug-in without breaking out the wallet. Here's how the plan works: NRG is offering a year of free charging for those who buy or lease a Leaf in either the Houston or Dallas-Fort Worth areas. NRG has 17 stations in Houston and another 23 in DFW. Nissan pays NRG a fee for employing the program, and it's apparently paying off, Nissan's Brendan Jones told Plug In Cars. The stations are located at retailers such as Walgreens and at gas-station chains. The "No Charge to Charge" program started October 1 and runs through the end of this month. The promotion may be driving sales, but let's remember that Nissan was touting a rise in Leaf sales numbers before the free charging deal went into effect. Of course, the fun does eventually end, and folks have to start paying for the juice after that first year. Two options NRG offers are a 12-month unlimited charging plan for $39.95 a month or a year of unlimited one-hour sessions at a Level 2 a cool $59.95. Californians, there's sadly no word on Nissan or NRG bringing a similar program to the Golden State. Because we know you were wondering that.

Ghosn: 'While I'm proud of our EV leadership, I know it's not enough.'

    Thu, Dec 17 2015

Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn has written something like a State of the Union on electric vehicles and the carbon economy. We'd sum it up as, 'we're working on it but we all need to work harder.' Ghosn believes all of the commitments made at the Paris COP21 climate change conference are a start, but "the support of the business community is imperative," in coordination with the public sector. He stresses that he's after an "orderly transition," one that uses what we have now in order to go where many believe we need to go. That means no threats or revolution, no "aggressive government intervention and centralized demand and control," but rather a "practical, affordable way to begin reducing dependence" on the fuel that turns the skies brown. Ghosn wraps up his manifesto this way: "The UN Secretary General recently said that we are the first generation to feel the effects of climate change and the last to be able to do anything to stop it. This is a call to action, and the auto industry is committed to doing its part." Based on the undeniable shift toward the electrification of the automobile, we know that the call is being answered. Given the limited market share EVs have today, it could still use some more people and companies picking up the phone. With vehicle numbers expected to grow from 800 million to more than two billion by 2050, "transition will occur one way or another," Ghosn writes. Head over to Forbes to read Ghosn's thoughts.

The art of racing the Nissan GT-R

    Mon, 09 Sep 2013

There's no question that the Nissan GT-R is one of the very fastest cars that money can buy, and that its sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and active suspension give its drivers an absurd level of control at speed. In fact, the GT-R's technical brilliance and video-game quickness often spur armchair critics to make absurd claims that kind of amount to: "The car basically drives itself."
Having a bit of fun with those particularly salty members of the peanut gallery, YouTube producers at That Racing Channel have put together an instructional video about the finer points of GT-R driving and street racing. Scroll down below to get an idea about just how difficult Godzilla can be to keep hold of at the limit.
