NO RESERVE
This is a nice 2004 Nissan Armada.  Runs and drives great.  Nice cold A/C. Fresh oil change.  New cabin air filter.  New muffler.  New air compressor.   Aftermarket tires have plenty of tread - about 70%.  I have the factory tires and rims that will also come with the vehicle.  Brakes and rotors are good.  Stops straight with no shakes.  It has a huge sunroof.  It has DVD navigation that works with factory steering wheel controls.  It has XM radio that is working without me having a contract, so buyer will have free service-at least for a while.  I have 2 keys, both with beepers, but one key needs to be cut.  The set of 22'' rims are not perfect but they spin straight, and look good from about 6 feet away.  They do show some wear.  It does have some small dents.  You can see them in the pics-all but one.  Right after driver's side 3rd row window before tailgate, there is a dent on that post.  Despite the dents and surface scratches,  it still looks good.  It was sitting for a while, and had stale gas in it but ran fine.  It had a code for the front cats which is po420 and po430.  I ran through three tanks of gas to see if the system would recover.  Driver's side cat seems to be taking longer to throw a check engine light.  Passenger side cat at start up makes noise and within 10 second it goes away.  You will have no choice but to do the passenger cat and possibly driver's as well.  I was quoted $800 for the job for both sides.  The windshield has a small chip.  This is a very heavy vehicle.  I would recommend taking the 22'' rims off if you plan on doing a lot of highway driving, and go with 20'' rims for a more current look.  The factory rims are plain alloys.  The factory rims are now in the back of the truck, ready to go with it. The interior is pretty clean, no rips, stains, or tears.  Overall it is a clean truck, but could use a little tlc.  It is still better looking than a lot I have seen asking for more money. PLEASE feel free to any questions. If you have 0 or negative feedback please contact me before placing your bid or i will cancel you and block you. The millage will change because I will driving it. I will end this auction for any reasonable offer
Good Luck 401-744-9914 Lou

Chinese-designed Nissan Lannia Concept debuts in Beijing

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Nissan showed off a stylish new concept car to the assembled crowds of media at the Beijing Motor Show. The Lannia Concept is... well, it's not that easy to describe. It's kind of a sedan, only it looks a bit like a fastback from the rear. But for a twist, it has an ever-so-small rear deck. Regardless of how we'd classify it, it's a seriously sharp piece of styling, thanks to its unique shape and flowing character lines.
If the Lannia's styling appears familiar, it's because we've sort of seen it before. There's more than a little bit of inspiration from the Friend-Me Concept. The Lannia's overall shape is similar to the Friend-Me, while both the front and rear clips look decidedly more production ready. Considering this evolution, we shouldn't rule out a production Lannia in the next few years. And if Nissan's product boss, Andy Palmer is any indication, the new model might not be limited to China.
"It was designed by Chinese, built by Chinese for the Chinese people, and ultimately, for the world," Palmer said in a statement. If Nissan can keep this sharp styling, this could prove a compelling buy in a number of markets.

Nissan's Taxi of Tomorrow shut down by NYC courts [UPDATE]

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

Justice Schlomo Hagler may have just put a big dent in Nissan's plans to rule New York City's taxi fleets and outgoing Mayor Mike Bloomberg's vision of a unified fleet of yellow cabs.
As an October 28 deadline approached that would see all current, non-hybrid taxis replaced over by the Nissan NV200 over a three-to-five-year span, the legal battle that's enveloped the Taxi of Tomorrow program from the start has intensified. In a lawsuit, the Greater New York Taxi Association claims New York's Taxi and Limousine Commission overstepped its powers in mandating that taxi fleets are refitted with the NV200, according to the New York Daily News. This isn't the first time the courts have sided with the cabbies in the ToT debate.
Justice Hagler agreed with the cabbies, striking down the Taxi of Tomorrow purchasing requirements, and saying, "Simply stated, the power to contract and compel medallion owners to purchase the Nissan NV200 from Nissan for ten years does not exist in the City Charter," according to The Wall Street Journal.

Nissan-Renault mule teases mysterious subcompact

Tue, Sep 8 2015

There's always something intriguing about a mystery, especially of the automotive kind, and that's exactly what we have here. Our spies recently spotted this Nissan-Renault test mule on the road in Southern Europe. But what, exactly, are they testing? From the front end, it's clear this mule started life as a Nissan Versa Note, but check it out in profile to see the cut down rear doors. They're significantly shorter than on the production car, and the wheelbase isn't as long here, either. The tacked on fender flares suggest a wider track than stock, too. Making things even more complicated is the bizarre cladding this subcompact hatch is wearing. The odd tumors on the hood and blistered side panels indicate that the automaker is trying to keep the design underneath a secret. Given Renault and Nissan's tight relationship, it also isn't clear which company is testing this model. While the body comes from the Note, this one is wearing French license plates. According to our spies, the vehicle was also spotted leaving a Renault testing location. There are some possibilities, though. Renault already has the new Twingo out, and the next-gen Megane has an imminent release. The French brand could now be at work on a future Clio. Alternatively, Nissan is reportedly using the Sway concept as inspiration for the upcoming Micra, and we could be getting a preview here. Give us your best guess in Comments. Related Video:
