Up for sale is this Super clean 2009 Nissan
Altima 2.5 SL Sedan. This Altima has only 47,000 original miles on it and its a ONE OWNER vehicle with no accident history in its autocheck report. This
car
looks absolutely great inside and out! It looks as if it has hardly been used. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water flood and
its being sold with a New Jersey salvage title. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. The Altima is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. The undercarriage shines
like brand new. I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a
really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done and its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The tires on the
car are practically new. They have tons of tread left and they are all
matching Michellin tires. This is a very well taken cared of car and it will last
someone forever. I also have several maintenance records on this car which I have posted pictures of. This Nissan runs and drives like a new Nissan would.
You
literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems at all.
This Altima
is loaded up with all the options. It has power leather seats, wood trimming, heated
seats, CD player, power glass moon roof, 16inch alloy wheels, digital
controls, remote keyless entry, cruise control, power windows and
locks, on board computer, keyless ignition with push button start,
power heated mirrors, and just too much more to
list. The car comes
with the original Nissan key fob. We also have all of the original owners manuals and booklets, the unused first aid kit still in the plastic bag, unused emergency took kit, unused trunk cargo net, and the spare tire and jack,
and all the floor mats. I have everything that this car came with when it was purchased new. The exterior of the
car shows extremely well. The car is virtually flawless with no major blemises at all worth mentioning. The
paint looks to be all original and it shines like
glass. You can see your face in the paint. There is nothing to pick on
with this car. There may be one or two small chips on the right side of the lower part of the front bumper. Nothing major at all and nothing some touch up paint couldnt cure. You can see this in my pics. It does not take away from the vehicle at all. The exterior of this vehicle is in above average condition all the way. The
interior of the car is also like brand new. The leather seats are is
fantastic
condition and show no any wear at all. The carpets and other panels are
all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%.
This car looks and drives the way it did when it rolled off the showroom floor. This car is
being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle has a salvage flood title from New Jersey. It is the buyers
responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering a
salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to

Nissan, least profitable Japanese automaker in Q3, stays strong on EVs
Mon, Feb 10 2014Nissan had some not-so-good financial news to report today. Despite a 57-percent net income increase, Nissan was Japan's least-profitable carmaker for the third quarter of last year. A weak yen helped put the company's operating profit below the estimates of financial analysts. In a speech on the financial situation, Nissan corporate vice president Joji Tagawa said "These results, however, do not reflect the full potential of Nissan." Given our focus on expensive electric vehicles, among other things, we wondered how this might affect EVs. One of the financial analysts told Bloomberg that the news is a "crisis" at the company, but the official word is that things are steady as she goes on the EV front. In his speech, Tagawa reaffirmed the company's strong belief in plug-in vehicles, saying that "Nissan's EV strategy will accelerate with the launch in fiscal 2014 of the e-NV200, the second all-electric model available globally." That electric van has the potential "to transform emissions among commercial vehicles" and Nissan remains interested in initiatives such as EV carsharing in Japan and the continued deployment of charging infrastructure. In a statement to AutoblogGreen, Billy Hayes, Nissan's vice president and program director, said that, "Nissan considers zero emission vehicles to be the ultimate solution for realizing sustainable mobility in the future and is strongly committed to EV technologies. Nissan teases next-gen Titan in 'Truckumentary'
Wed, Nov 26 2014The Nissan Titan has grown long in the tooth over its decade on the market, especially against major competitors on the truck scene like the latest Ford F-150. Not for long, though, because the next-generation Titan is expected to debut at the upcoming auto show in Detroit in January. Ahead of that big unveiling, the Japanese brand is launching what it calls the Nissan Titan Truckumentary, a series of videos delving into what it takes to engineer a fullsize pickup. The first teaser clip is already online and shows the next-gen Titan wearing camouflage amidst engineering snippets. Hopefully, future releases starting in mid-December will give an even better look. Until now, Nissan has kept Titan development a guarded secret, but it did reveal that a 5.0-liter diesel V8 from Cummins with claims of over-300 horsepower and around 550 pound-feet of torque will be part of the powertrain range. The truck was has also been rumored to offer a wider range of models than before, including the possibility of a regular cab version and a V6 engine option. Earlier spy shots have given an even clearer view than this video, showing a pickup with headlights pushed out to the corners. 2013 Nissan Pathfinder: June 2013
Thu, 18 Jul 2013When we say that our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder has been busy, we mean it. Want proof? In the past month, the big, brown Nissan was only idle enough for us to take it in for its 11,500-mile routine service and to shoot a couple of new photos of the long-termer in Detroit.
Most recently, the Pathfinder spent a few weeks in the hands of AOL Autos' executive editor Sharon Carty, who used the three-row CUV to haul her entire family from Detroit to New Jersey and back... twice. That's a pretty serious amount of miles, but it gave Sharon a really solid look into how the vehicle holds up for the needs of a family with kids of different ages.
