There isn't one thing mechanically or cosmetically wrong with this car (just a very small ding on the trunk lid), but just incase you're curious about evrything...

Cooling system is safe to -50 degrees F, and there are no leaks or problems.

Drive Train has NO shifting problems or abnormal noises.

Charging system (battery, ignition, starter, and alternator) work just marvelously and have never left me stranded.

Engine has NO signs of excessive oil consumption, no abnormal noises, no signs of cracked block or head, no blown head gasket. Engine doesn't miss fire or backfire. It idles great, doesn't stall or sputter. The belts are all there and there isnt sign of them being worn or frayed. Nothing on this car has been changed from manufactures specifaction.

Fluid levels on this car are good and there are no signs of leaks anywhere.

All the gauges and guage lights work great. No indicator lights on (check engine, abs, etc...)

Parking brake and the other brakes work great. I have an extra brand new set of brake pads and a rotor that go with.

Hood, trunk lid, and all the doors open and close just great and never need to be slammed.

The exhaust system, the fenders, firewall, floor pans, frame, fuel system, horn, lights, airbags, saftey belts, speedometer, odometer, steering components, suspension, tires, wheels, windows, mirriors, windshield, windshield defroster, windshield wipers, windshield washers are all legal and work excellent!

Please call or text Tom at 7l5-829-533l if you have any questions. Please leave a voicemail or a text if your call is not answered, I have very bad reception throughout most of the day, thanks very much.

NHTSA investigating 200,000 Sentra, Versa models over brakes

Tue, 27 May 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a second investigation into Nissan in May. The first covered inaccurate fuel gauges in the 2007 Quest minivan. The latest affects the Sentra and Versa from the 2013 and 2014 model years and the 2014 Versa Note, because of complaints of long brake pedal travel. If NHTSA finds a problem, it could affect an estimated 200,000 vehicles.
At the moment, this is still only a preliminary evaluation "to asses the scope, frequency and safety-related consequences of the alleged defect," according to the report, but it could lead to the full recall. NHTSA is still trying to find whether or not there are accidents, injuries or fatalities related to the problem. At this time, much of the data in the document is still marked Confidential or TBD. Nissan told Reuters in a statement that the company is working with the agency on the investigation and supplying the regulator with further information.
According to NHTSA, its Office of Defects Investigation has received eight complaints about long pedal travel in these models. They allege that the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor when pressed in some cases and doesn't sufficiently slow the vehicle. Autoblog has contacted Nissan for its reaction to the investigation. We will update this story when we receive a reply. Until then, scroll down to read the current investigation report.
