This auction is for a 2008 Nissan Xterra X. Clear Carfax, I am the 2nd private owner. Title in hand. Less than 43,00 miles! It has a transferrable warranty that is for 3 more years or up to 75,000 miles with a $ 300 deductible that I got at CarMax when I purchased if from them in 2010(How many other used cars have you seen with this warranty?). This car has never had any issues, ever. Always garaged at home and always maintained to perfection. It just passed its NC annual emissions test and had an oil change and new air filter done at the same time. New car battery 3 months ago. Tires are in good condition with thousands of miles ahead. The paint is in perfect condition, rails on the top. Rear wheel drive, engine is extremely strong and puts out over 260 horse power. You will never have issues passing, going up hill, or anything else. The only reason I'm selling is my family already has 2 Suvs. If you haven't noticed the appearance of the Xterra has not changed much since 2008 so why pay $ 25,000 plus when you can buy this lightly used one. It is a no brainer to me, no?

Basic Specs(please search the web for a longer list of specs):

Rear wheel drive, 6 cylinder engine, 261 horse power, auto locks, child locks, air bags, abs, automatic transmission, cd player, power steering, fold down rear seats. Interior is gray cloth that is very nice with no major wear, cuts or tears(pictures don't do it justice, it looks really good).
For complete list of specs, just google 2008 Nissan Xterra.

Payment: due within 3 business days via bank transfer or certified bank check. No personal checks unless your name is Warren Buffet :).

Shipping/pick up: buyer is responsible for all aspects, financial, logistics, ect...

NOTE: I also have this listed a couple other places like Auto-Trader so I reserve the right to terminate this auction at any time.

CARFAX: please review my listing on Auto-Trader for a review of the CarFax, or email me if you cannot find it and I can send you the link. Ebay no long allows posting of links apparently.

**Please email me with any questions. We can set up a test drive or whatever you like. I will give you my phone number and we can discuss anything you have questions about.

Thanks for looking.

Nissan touts e-NV200 as electric VIP transport

Tue, Sep 23 2014

While the big auto show may be in Paris next month, right now in Hannover, Germany, commercial vehicle manufacturers are peddling their wares to fleet operators. Among them is Nissan, which is not only upgrading its NV400 full-size van with new engines and technology, but also showcasing a rather unusual show car in the form of the e-NV200 VIP Concept. Nissan has outfitted this electric NV200 demonstrator to chauffeur passengers around town in comfort and under electric propulsion. It's decked out in a two-tone metallic blue paint job and an interior upholstered in white leather contrasting with black trim and carpets, although for some reason the Japanese automaker hasn't seen fit to release any interior images. In the back you'll find a 21.5-inch DSP monitor, LED lighting and a pair of "club class" seats (again, no pictures), moved aft-wards to maximize leg room to 26 inches with an extendable footrest, while still allowing for luggage space behind. The driver can even make use of Nissan's new Smart Rear-View mirror to help get passengers as close to the red carpet as possible. NISSAN SHOWCASES EV FOR VIPs Zero emission e-NV200 is transformed for ultimate comfort city transport -introducing the e-NV200 concept for VIPs. - Luxuriously appointed 100% electric for downtown VIP passenger shuttle - Two-tone metallic blue exterior and white leather seats - Limousine-like space and 21.5-inch monitor with digital device connectivity - Smart Rear-View mirror providing clear rearward visibility in all conditions Hannover, Germany (23rd September, 2014) Fresh from launching the game-changing 100% electric Nissan e-NV200 compact van, the world's leading electric vehicle manufacturer has created a new zero emission concept for VIP transportation - the Nissan e-NV200 VIP Concept. Designers have upgraded the all-electric e-NV200 Evalia people carrier into a zero emission van perfect as shuttle transport for VIPs. The benefit of being zero emission means that the van can access all current and future clean air zones, as well as drive inside buildings, for the ultimate in discreet convenience. Behind the spectacular two-tone exterior lies a sophisticated and luxurious interior. The seats are covered in premium quality white leather with blue accents, which contrast with the predominantly black lower portion of the cabin - the trim and carpets are black with a piano black finish on the control surfaces.

About 20k Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX models recalled for potentially faulty brakes

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and 2013 Infiniti JX due to a problem with the front brakes. The problem is a result of the brake torque member (a part that attaches the brake caliper to the front suspension), which was cast improperly with a structural weakness that could possibly lead to "reduced braking, increasing the risk of a crash," according to NHTSA. How, you ask? If the part breaks, the brake caliper could move position and possibly make contact with the wheel.
Around 20,000 of these sister crossovers are being recalled, but it doesn't sound like all were equipped with the faulty component. Dealers will inspect vehicles built between December 3, 2012 and January 29, 2013, and replace components from the defective batch. The recall goes into effect next month, but until then, the official recall notice is posted below with information for how owners can contact Nissan.

'Gran Turismo' movie trailer: No surprises, but more cars onscreen is a good thing

Tue, May 2 2023

More movies about cars and racing is always a good thing in our book. The first trailer for the "Gran Turismo" movie dropped today, and while it focuses a lot on the gaming backstory, it looks like there will be a decent amount of actual wheel-to-wheel action as well. The movie is, of course, based on the hugely popular PlayStation series of video games. Now in its seventh installation, it revolutionized the racing game world with its massive library of playable cars, digitization of real tracks, and sound effects recorded from actual exhaust notes. Unlike other recent video games that have been adapted into blockbuster movies or TV shows with actual depth, "Gran Turismo" the game doesn't have a plot.  This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The movie follows the real-life story of Jann Mardenborough, a British "Gran Turismo" player who in 2011 became the youngest winner of the Nissan GT Academy. The program funnels gamers into real driver's seats, and Mardenborough beat out 90,000 global contestants. He's gone on to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the British GT Championships, and Formula E.  In the trailer we see what is likely a heavily dramatized version of the events. Mardenborough (Archie Madekwe) faces skeptical parents, skeptical driving instructor Jack Salter (David Harbour of "Stranger Things''), and a skeptical rival who doesn't believe gamers can really race (Josha Stradowski). About the only one who does believe in him is Danny Moore (Orlando Bloom), a marketing exec based on GT Academy head honcho Darren Cox. An obligatory love story is also wedged in there.  Since the real GT Academy was sponsored by Nissan, when Mardenborough graduates to real cars we see plenty of R35 GT-Rs, a 370Z NISMO, and a Ligier-Nissan LMP racer. Mardenborough's rival's car is perfectly cast as a chrome gold-wrapped Lamborghini Huracan. Background cars include an Audi R8, Porsche 911, Ferrari 458, and more. Surprisingly, there's no new Nissan Z, even though it seems like it would be the perfect car to include in a movie like this. The trailer reveals almost entirely how Mardenborough will overcome the odds, not that the end would have taken a genius to guess. At the same time, motor racing is an inaccessible sport for the average consumer.
