Up for sale is this Super clean 2008 Nissan Versa S Sedan. This Versa has only 73,000 original miles on it. This car looks absolutely great inside and out! It looks as if it has been gently used. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water flood and its being sold with delaware certificate of title that is branded with flood status. I am not sure why the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. The NIssan is in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should, and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons. There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. The undercarriage shines like brand new. I dont think this car was ever even driven in the rain. I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a really nice driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done and its ready for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The tires are in great shape and have about 70% tread remaining. They are all matching Kumho tires. This is a very well taken cared of car and it will last someone forever. This Versa runs and drives like a new Nissan would. You literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. This is also a ONE OWNER vehicle with no accident history in the autocheck report.
This Versa is loaded up with all the options. I has power windows, power locks, cruise control, power mirrors, In-dash CD player, ICE cold AC, Tire pressure monitoring sensors, and a very economical 4 cylinder engine. This engine gets over 35MPG's with no problem.
The car comes with two original Nissan Keys. We also have all the original floor mats, all the owners manuals and booklets, the unused spare tire, jack, and complete tool kit. This vehicle is ready for the fall, just jump in and drive.
The exterior of the car shows extremely well. The car is virtually flawless with no major blemishes to speak of. The paint looks to be in nice and it shines like glass. You can see your face in the paint. There is nothing to pick on with this car. This is a ONE OWNER car with no accident history in the autocheck report. The only minor blemish is a small scuff on the front bumper, but its very minor and not too noticeable at all.
The interior of the car is like brand new. The seats are is fantstic condition and show no any wear at all. The carpets and other panels are all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%. This car looks and drives like a 73,000 mile Japanese vehicle should.
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle has a title that is branded with flood status. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Matt and my number is 646-243-9866. Thanks and good luck bidding!

Nissan tries to Sway us with video teaser

Mon, Mar 2 2015

Nissan is about to unveil the Sway concept at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show this week, but before it does, it's released this teaser clip to give us a better idea of what to expect. Previewed in a teaser image released last week, the Sway concept is the Japanese automaker's proposal to replace its Micra/March hatchback with something a bit more dynamic. It's said to borrow from the success of the Juke and Qashqai crossovers to give the new European-market Pulsar hatchback a baby brother. It's still a bit early to draw conclusions on the design and its prospects for production, but from what we can tell from this video clip, it looks promising. Watch this space for more. Court rejects Carlos Ghosn's request to attend Nissan board meeting

Mon, Mar 11 2019

TOKYO — A Japanese court has rejected a request by former Nissan chairman Carlos Ghosn, released on bail last week, to attend the Japanese automaker's board meeting on Tuesday. Nissan dismissed Ghosn as chairman after his Nov. 19 arrest, but he remains on the board. The Tokyo District Court said it rejected Ghosn's request on Monday but did not elaborate on the reasons. It had been unclear whether Ghosn could attend the board meeting. The court's approval was needed based on restrictions imposed for his release on bail. The restrictions say he cannot tamper with evidence, and attending the board meeting could be seen as putting pressure on Nissan employees. Prosecutors had been expected to argue against his attendance. They were not available for immediate comment. Ghosn has been charged with falsifying financial reports in underreporting his compensation and breach of trust in making payments to a Saudi businessman and having Nissan shoulder investment losses. He insists he is innocent, saying the compensation was never decided or paid, the payments were for legitimate services and Nissan never suffered the losses. Since his release on March 6 from Tokyo Detention Center on 1 billion yen ($9 million) bail, he has been spotted taking walks in Tokyo with his family, but he has not made any comments. His attempt to exercise what his lawyer, Junichiro Hironaka, called his "duty" by attending the board meeting signals one way he may be fighting back. Hironaka has said Ghosn will speak to reporters soon. A date for a news conference has not been announced. Nissan said Monday that Renault Chairman Jean-Dominique Senard, Renault Chief Executive Thierry Bollore, Nissan Motor Co. CEO Hiroto Saikawa, and Osamu Masuko, the chairman and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Corp., will hold a joint news conference Tuesday after the board meeting. Nissan appears determined to highlight new leadership without Ghosn. It is part of an alliance with Renault SA of France, and more recently with Japan's Mitsubishi Motors, that was largely cobbled together by Ghosn, who led Nissan for two decades. Nissan, which makes the March subcompact, Leaf electric car and Infiniti luxury models, has denounced Ghosn for alleged misconduct. A decision at a shareholders' meeting is needed to remove Ghosn from the board. A shareholders' meeting is scheduled for next month.

Mitsubishi and Nissan teaming up on electric kei car

Mon, Sep 6 2021

Nissan and Mitsubishi have announced plans to build an electric kei car together. The yet-unnamed car would mark a major step towards electrification of Japan's popular supercompact segment. The car will be powered by a 20 kWh battery and will be engineered to cover daily driving duties in a Japanese driving cycle. The car can also double as a mobile power source or power a home in emergency situations. Nissan says the car will measure 134 inches long, 58 inches wide, and 65 inches tall, in order to comply with laws limiting kei car size. The companies state that the car will be developed by NMKV Co., Ltd., a joint-venture that stands for Nissan Mitsubishi Kei Vehicle. Each carmaker owns a 50 percent stake, and already jointly builds models such as the feline favorite Nissan Dayz, which Mitsubishi sells as the eK. In reality, that likely means Mitsubishi will be developing the car and Nissan will simply slap a badge on it. Nissan has not traditionally built kei cars, choosing instead to rebadge those made by Suzuki or Mitsubishi. In fact, Mitsubishi built the first electric kei car, the i-Miev, way back in 2009, and it was actually sold in the U.S. until 2017. The jellybean-shaped EV was a pioneer in the field, but its 62-mile range from a 16 kWh lithium-ion battery showed the limitations of the technology at the time. Mitsubishi moved about 32,000 of them before they pulled the plug, with a pre-tax-credit price ranging from $23,000 to $31,000. The new Nissan-Mitsubishi kei car will land at around 2 million yen, or $18,200. The price, while slightly more expensive than a gasoline counterpart, bucks predictions from analysts that said prices would skyrocket by 66 to 120 percent if kei cars were forced to electrify. A petrol-powered Nissan Dayz starts at around $15,200. Size-wise, the two share a similar footprint as they are governed by kei car size limits. The special class of cars get unique license plates and other registration cost benefits due to their compact dimensions. A BMW i3 would exceed those boundaries due to its 158-inch length and 70-inch width. However, the larger EV comes equipped with a substantially bigger 42.2 kWh battery good for 152 miles of range. Though no photos have been released, we predict it will look like the iMk concept (pictured above). The car will go on sale in spring 2022. Related Video This content is hosted by a third party.
