Up for sale is this Super clean 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE. This Sentra has only 72,000 original miles on it
and it is a ONE OWNER vehicle. The exterior of this vehicle is Metallic Silver and the interior is Light Gray. This car
looks absolutely great inside and out! It looks as if it has barely
been used. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water flood
and
its being sold with a salvage flood title from NJ. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. The Sentra is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom.
I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done and its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The tires on the
car are practically new. They have tons of tread left and they are all
matching. This is a very well taken cared of car and it will last
someone forever. This Nissan runs and drives like a new car would. You
literally jump in this ca and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems. I guarantee it!
This Sentra is loaded up with all the following options. It has power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power trunk release, CD player, cruise control, factory wheel covers, 4 cylinder that gets 35 MPG!, ICE COLD AC, rear window lockout switch, and so much more! The car comes
with the original Nissan key, unused spare tire and jack, and the original tool kit as well.
This vehicle is ready for the spring, just jump in and
drive. The exterior of the
car shows extremely well. The car is super clean with no unusual defects
to mention. The paint looks to be all original and in nice shape. The body is straight, with no dings or dents to talk about. There is nothing to pick on
with this car. Its in extremely good shape for its age. The
interior of the car is also in great condition. The seats are in nice
condition with no blemishes at all. The
carpets and other panels are
all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%.
This car looks and drives like an 72,000 mile Nissan should. This car is
being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle has a salvage flood title. It is the buyers
responsibility to know the rules and regulations for registering a

Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota
Mon, 23 Jun 2014The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands

When public charging fails you and your EV
Fri, Dec 5 2014Think that owning and driving a plug-in vehicle in green-centric San Francisco is easy? You should probably think again. That's because a lot of other residents already have the same idea, and there aren't enough charging stations to keep up. A classic First World problem, for sure, but a problem nevertheless for at least one EV driver. A Wired reporter shares the experience test-driving a Nissan Leaf for a couple of days. The catch is that, like many of the city's residents, he's an apartment-dweller without a dedicated parking spot, meaning that he's at the mercy of publicly-accessible station availability. And that infrastructure, he writes, is "woefully inadequate" to handle the current crop of plug-in vehicle drivers in the San Francisco Bay Area The crux is that, while Nissan Leaf's navigation systems can direct a driver to the nearest stations, they neither say if the stations are occupied or if they're open to the public. The former issue is a major one because, unlike gas stations, a plug-in vehicle charging station can be occupied for hours instead of minutes. That means plug-in vehicle drivers without overnight charging access will likely constantly be on the hunt for unoccupied charging stations in the area until more stations are deployed.
