2000 Nissan Quest Gxe Minivan Beige * Low Mileage!!* No Reserve!!! Best Deal!! on 2040-cars
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Up for sale is my 2000 Nissan Quest GXE with only 95,000 miles. I am the second owner and have always taken great care of the car. It has been adult driven and most of the miles are highway. The only reason I am selling it is because I already have a newer year vehicle. The exterior condition of the car is in pretty good condition. The gray interior might just need a little cleaning. The air conditioning and heat is working properly. There is about 70% remaining on the tires. The timing belt and all four struts were recently changed. All the doors and buttons are functioning properly. It does come with standard factory remote entry alarm. The rear trunk opens properly but the dampers that hold it up in place will need to be replaced. But you can just open and hold it up to load and unload things. Other than that, It really just needs a cleaning. It's not a perfect showroom car but If you can see it in person, you will not be disappointed. For the price, it is hard to find a good running minivan that can seat 7. So please don't compare it to a brand new minivan or a newer year. I like to be honest with everything and everything I know about the car, I want to be upfront about it because I was raised that way. This minivan will last many more years but because of the mileage and year, the new owner still has to do any required maintenance. Overall, its a great deal and I welcome anyone to come take a look and test drive this great minivan before they even bid. You are welcome to bring any mechanic to take a look as well. Whoever wins this auction will be truly getting a good deal because you will be saving thousands or dollars. Please note I am not a dealer and I will be selling this car "as is". The title is free and clear meaning there are no liens. It is a New York State Title but I am currently living in Philadelphia, PA. So what that means is you won't be able to get a temporary plate from Philadelphia and drive it away. I have sold a couple of cars in the past on ebay and the best way I learned is upon full payment, I can mail all the documents and title to you. After you receive it, you can go to your local dmv and register the car and bring your plates from whatever state you are from and drive it away. I think I have summed up just about everything, If there are any more questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for taking the time to read all this and Good luck to the winner!

Carlos Ghosn to step down as Nissan CEO on April 1
Thu, Feb 23 2017Carlos Ghosn announced he will be stepping down as CEO of the Nissan on April 1, to be replaced by current Nissan co-CEO Hiroto Saikawa. The move comes after close to two decades of leadership and the rebuilding of a company that was close to disaster. Ghosn isn't finished with the company he helped rebuild, as he will remain on as chairman of the board and continue on as leader of the Renault-Nissan Alliance following the change of guard. In addition to running Renault-Nissan, Ghosn has taken over as chairman of Mitsubishi Motors after acquiring a 34-percent stake in 2016, a move he spearheaded. Ghosn stated, "I am confident that the management team I have developed at Nissan over the past 18 years has the talent and experience to meet the company's operational and strategic goals. Having recently taken on new responsibilities at Mitsubishi Motors, and taking into consideration the upcoming Nissan general shareholders meeting, I have decided that the time is right for Hiroto Saikawa to succeed me as Nissan's CEO." A release from Renault-Nissan said the move allows Ghosn to focus more attention on bringing together the three companies. Saikawa, his replacement, has been with Nissan since 1977 and has overseen operations in the company's markets worldwide. Datsun's lackluster initial sales fall below Tata Nano
Wed, 15 Oct 2014When Tata introduced the Nano back in 2008, everyone was amazed at how cheap it was. They called it a game changer, but no game was changed. In fact, it took Tata five years to sell the 250,000 units it had the capacity to build in a single year. As it turns out, even buyers in what economists call "developing markets" like India aren't necessarily interested in buying an ultra-cheap automobile. And now it appears that Nissan may be falling into the same trap.
A little over a year ago, Nissan revived its old moniker Datsun to serve as a budget brand - similar to what ally Renault did with Dacia. Its lineup (consisting of models like the Go hatchback, Go+ minivan, On-Do sedan and Mi-Do hatch) is largely based on old architecture, packaged with little more than basic equipment and sold at rock-bottom prices. But Bloomberg reports that, even in the brand's core markets like India and Indonesia, the new Datsuns haven't been selling.
According to local industry figures, Datsun has sold fewer than 10,000 units of its $5,100 Go hatchbacks in India since its introduction back in March. Maruti Suzuki, by comparison, sells twice that many of its similarly priced Alto hatchbacks every month. In fact, after peaking in April, Datsun only sold 607 units in India this past July, dipping 77 percent to drop below even the number of Nanos which Tata sold that month.
