2012 Charcoal Gray Nissan Maxima with Sport Package !
Super Clean With NO Previous or Current Damage or paint work what so ever !
Let me state the FACTS about this car:
Salvage Title Due to this being a Theft Recovery car
Now, I will describe what this means. It means this car was stolen and later recovered. Once a car has been stolen, if its not recovered within 36 hours insurance has to pay the owner for the car and at that point the insurance company takes ownership of the car which therefore will "total" a vehicle and give it a salvage title *if ever found* in this case it was found later on so this is the reason for it having a salvage title. I purchased the car as is as you can see in the pics. I have not repaired, replaced, nor painted anything on this car. I bought from the auction as you see it. I bought it with around 26,000 miles and have done nothing but wash and have it detailed and drive it. I have put around 8,000 miles on the car since I purchased it. This car does not need anything fixed or repaired on it. We looked the car over very thorough when I first purchased it and everything on the car is factory, OEM and original. This car does have the factory sport package which includes the factory 18 inch hyper gray wheels, ground effects kit and rear spoiler. It has factory HID Head Lights. Rear tires are around 75% tread remaining and fronts around 45%.

I have as accurately described this vehicle as good as I possibly know how to, I want the person that comes to pick this vehicle up to be 110% happy with this car and its condition and I do not hide or misrepresent my vehicles. If you are the winner of this vehicle you will be very happy when you see the car for the first time. If I didn't tell you this car has a salvage title you would never know the difference in one of these at a Nissan Dealer out front with a price tag of $25,000. You will be very pleased with this car, I give you my word.

You can message me through ebay with any questions about this car or call/text me at 828-980-1700. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have and will assist any way I can with making a deal happen.

I will accept cash upon arrival to pick up the car or certified check or bank check with a 5-7 day hold before releasing the car to you or the title.

If you need financing I have a lady local to me that will finance Salvage Title Vehicles with good credit of course just like a bank would require you to have.

Carolina Trust - Melissa Cantrell - 828-245-2262

This car has a 22,500 average book value, I have reduced the price of the car based on it being salvage title. If you feel that a salvage title vehicle should be 50% or 25% of book value then I reccommend you to go to your local Nissan dealer and buy you a car like this for 25,000. This car has not been cut in half and pieced back together, painted all over or any of the above. It was stolen then found and insurance took ownership and took to an auction in which I took ownership from there. The pic with the stickers on the window is how I purchased it and was right after it came off the transport truck and pulled in the wash bay. As you can see in the pic, it did not have any damage what so ever.

Thank you for looking and the car is also for sale locally and I have the right to end the auction at any time at my discretion.

Thanks, Justin...

A realistic approach to fixing Mitsubishi

Tue, May 24 2016

There are going to be a lot of words written about what Nissan needs to do with Mitsubishi in the coming months and years in the interest of turning the brand around. After Nissan's purchase of a controlling stake in the diamond star brand, there's been more interest in Mitsubishi thanks to the potential of platform sharing and plenty of cash from Nissan-Renault to get the juices flowing again. But, while some have been doing their best to advocate for the return of the 3000GT, Evolution, and even the Starion - Many of these posts forget the reality of the market we live in today. As much as we like to look back fondly at the sports coupes of the '90s, a byproduct of the insane cash flows all the Japanese manufacturers had at the time, the reality of today puts a much greater emphasis on what is most-boring; Crossover SUVs, alongside mid-size and compact sedans. We do need to ask a fundamental question, how much Mitsubishi is enough to be able to continue to call the cars Mitsubishis? Aside from slight product revisions and reconfigurations, Mitsubishi (at least in North America) has been largely dependent on the same GS platform and 4B1 engines that date back to their long-time partnership with Chrysler (and Hyundai) in the mid '00s. Admittedly, the chassis and engines have served the company well, underpinning a wide variety of vehicles sold around the world, and seeing quite a few revisions to at least attempt to keep products competitive. But, the GS chassis is old, heavy, and severely out of date - and when matched to the underpowered 4B1 series engines - make for largely uncompetitive offerings in the market. While something like the Outlander Sport is indeed interesting compared to a Honda CR-V, it is by no means the smart choice in the segment. So, going forward, unless Mitsubishi has had a skunkworks of sorts developing their chassis and engine replacements over the past few years, what exactly are they planning to do for their bread-and-butter models? I think the straightforward answer is without a doubt the Nissan North America parts bin. With so many of their models selling well, and for the most part, are reasonably well-reviewed, it would be quite simple to adapt the chassis and powertrain to Mitsubishi's liking to create a high-volume alternative to what is currently available now.

This map reveals the cleanest vehicles based on location

Naysayers love to point out how dirty the electricity grid mix is when it comes to charging electric vehicles. Curmudgeons are eager to jump into any conversation about EVs to enlighten the lucky listeners about how plug-in cars contribute to pollution, sometimes even throwing in a dash of climate-change denial for good measure. (Thanks, buddy. Pray, tell me more about the plight of oppressed SUV owners.) Unless someone buys an EV just because they think they're cool (which, yeah, they often are), they probably have at least a passable understanding of their environmental pros and cons. As many EV owners are already aware, location has a lot to do with any particular plug-in car's carbon footprint. Still, there's always more to know, and knowledge is not a bad thing, especially if one uses it to do the right thing. That's why this handy-dandy map from Carnegie Mellon University is so interesting. CMU researchers have compiled information about the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions of various EVs based on where they're charged, as compared to gasoline-powered vehicles. The researchers looked at the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Volt, and Prius Plug-In Hybrid versus the gasoline-dependent Toyota Prius hybrid and the stop-start-equipped Mazda3 with i-ELOOP and compared grams of CO2 emitted per mile. CMU takes into account the grid mix, ambient temperature, and driving patterns. CMU takes into account the grid mix based on county, as well as ambient temperature and driving patterns in terms of miles traveled on the highway or in the city. For instance, if you drive a Nissan Leaf in urban areas of California, Texas, or Florida, your carbon footprint is lower than it would be if you were driving a standard Toyota Prius. However, if you charge your Leaf in the Midwest or the South, for the most part, you've got a larger carbon footprint than the Prius. If you live in the rural Midwest, you'd probably even be better off driving a Mazda3. Throughout the country, the Chevrolet Volt has a larger carbon footprint than the Toyota Prius, but a smaller one than the Mazda3 in a lot of urban counties in the US. The Prius and Prius Plug-In are relatively equal across the US. Having trouble keeping it straight? That's not surprising. The comparisons between plug-in and gasoline vehicles are much more nuanced than the loudest voices usually let on.

Nissan Sentra, Buick LaCrosse to headline LA Auto Show

Wed, Oct 21 2015

We're less than a month away from the start of the Los Angeles Auto Show, and automakers have been lining up their debuts for the upcoming left-coast expo. The latest announcement comes from the show's organizers who are eager to tout the global debuts slated for next month. Chief among them will be new versions of the Buick LaCrosse and Nissan Sentra. So far all we've seen of the 2017 LaCrosse is a glimpse at the front grille, but it's already promising to bring elements of the Avenir concept to the street. The original LaCrosse was launched in 2004 and was replaced in 2010 with the current model. The Sentra nameplate has been around much longer, but the current model was launched more recently in 2013. The new version spied recently while undergoing testing is promised to be a substantial update on that model, not a complete replacement, bringing it up to speed with the latest equipment and revised styling. This represents the first official confirmation we've received of when Nissan will be unveiling the new Sentra. Mitsubishi will also be on hand with its new Outlander Sport, as well as the redesigned Mirage. They'll be joined as well by new versions of a couple of high-end models that promise to resonate with the local crowds in tinseltown. Land Rover has chosen the LA show as a suitable venue to unveil the production Range Rover Evoque Convertible that will drop the top on one of the most stylish luxury crossovers on the market. And Porsche, as we know, is gearing up to hit the track with the new Cayman GT4 Clubsport - a customer racing version of the company's little two-seat, mid-engined sports car that's been lightly modified for motorsport competition. Of course these won't be the only new metal on display at the Californian auto expo. They'll be joined as well by the likes of the new Infiniti QX30, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Sportage, and Jaguar F-Pace - many of which we've already seen. Meanwhile companies like Fiat, Ford, Mazda, Mercedes, Subaru, Volvo, Volkswagen, and Elio Motors are keeping their plans under wraps for the time being. But with mere weeks to go, it won't be long before we see what they've got in store as well.
