The air bags deployed. The car does not start right now, I am assuming because the fuel pump has locked out because of the accident?? Also front pads and rotors were just done. New axle on front drivers side. Please call to make an appointment to see the car, 8623778459. The vehicle is located in Butler, New Jersey. Thanks, John

New Nissan Nismo model coming to Chicago
Wed, Feb 4 2015Nismo has been steadily growing from a niche label for JDM aficionados to a bona fide performance sub-brand for Nissan. And it will grow by one more model next week when the doors open at the Chicago Auto Show. Nissan hasn't revealed exactly what it has in store just yet, but whatever it is, it'll be an all-new model we haven't seen before. The Datsun performance studio has already given us amped-up versions of the Juke, 370Z and GT-R, offers several more versions in markets overseas and has displayed concept versions of other Nissan models as well. We're hoping that whatever Nismo has lined up for Chicago will be ready for production and available Stateside, but we'll have to wait a little while longer to say for sure.
Ghosn: Restoring Mitsubishi's reputation is biggest challenge
Thu, May 12 2016After news that Mitsubishi falsified its fuel economy data on every vehicle it has sold in Japan since 1991, and the tumble in the company's value that followed, the troubled carmaker has an unlikely savior. Nissan has confirmed it will purchase over one third of Mitsubishi's stock, or 34 percent. The stake is valued at $2.2 billion. Ghosn says making Mitsubishi a part of the Renault-Nissan alliance will save billions in development costs. But the merger certainly isn't without challenges. "The biggest challenge is to support Mitsubishi changing itself and growing and being profitable and restoring its reputation," said Ghosn. Nissan is a natural partner for Mitsubishi, and since the fuel economy scandal escalated from discrepancies in the data regarding Mitsubishi-manufactured, Nissan-badged Japan-market vehicles, it makes sense for the company to sweep in and save the day. Nissan itself is partially owned by Renault, and Nissan has a 15-percent stake in the French automaker. Mitsubishi's chairman, Osamu Masuko says that the merger was inevitable, that it "would have happened one day" anyway, according to the New York Times. Carlos Ghosn, chairman of both Nissan and Renault, is confident they will be able to turn Mitsubishi's fortunes around. "We have the track record to make it work", Ghosn said, referring to the Renault-funded rescue of Nissan in the early 2000s. Related Video:

Thu, Oct 6 2016The Renault-Nissan Alliance has been chosen to provide a fleet of electric cars for the UN's COP22 Climate Conference in Marrakesh, Morocco. The group will provide 50 passenger EVs – the Renault Zoe, Nissan Leaf, and Nissan e-NV200 – to shuttle delegates to and from conference venues. The Alliance will also provide more than 20 charging stations to support the shuttle fleet. The group provided electric shuttles for the historic COP21 summit in Paris last year. LG Chem has officially announced it will build a battery plant in Poland to the tune of about $340 million. Located near Wroclaw in southwestern Poland, the plant is expected to produce 100,000 batteries a year for 200-mile EVs beginning in 2019. The plant could help Poland in its goal to reduce pollution by introducing a million EVs on its roads by 2025. "We will turn the Poland EV battery plant into a mecca of battery production for electric vehicles around the world," says UB Lee, President of LG Chem's Energy Solution Company. Construction begins in the second half of 2017. Read more from Automotive News Europe. BMW has introduced the Cruise e-Bike.
