2007 Nissan Frontier Se Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 4.0l, Automatic, Long Bed on 2040-cars
Oceanside, California, United States
Overall, condition is great. Paint has some scratches, and there is a small dent, however the paint has a lot of shine and deep reflection. It is black, and shows even the smallest scratches. The interior is in excellent condition, and never smoked in since I have owned it.
I will have the vehicle professionally detailed ($250.00) after full payment, to include a clay bar treatment, full wax, interior spotless, and more. Tires have a lot of tread left on them. Approximately 15,000 on the current tires. I will have tires rotated and balanced upon full payment. Brakes are original, and I will put all new pads and rotors (if needed) once full payment is made. They do have life left on them, but this way you won't have to worry about it for years to come. The 4 doors and the long bed is what makes this truck. I owned the short bed version of this truck and it was basically worthless for hauling anything bigger than a car could haul. The long bed with the bed extender really makes this a hauler, then you add in that the back seats fold up and it really can haul a lot! Mechanically the truck runs wonderful. I have never had a problem with this truck mechanically. I just drove it from Ohio to San Diego, CA and it ran amazing the whole time. Bed liner is factory painted on. It is amazing, and I have never had a problem with it. All rails and hooks are in tact and great for hauling. There is some rusting in the hooks, but no damage. This truck has spent most of its life in California. However, it did spend 2 winters in Ohio. There is absolutely no rust forming anywhere! This is an excellent truck for many missions, especially with the longbed! Surfboards, Kayaks, Moving, Desert, Camping, Off-Road, Daily Driver, Family Truck, Towing a Trailer, Camper, Jet Ski, Boat, etc., etc., etc. The only reason I am selling is because I am moving to the mountains and need a 4x4. Fuel economy of a V6, but with a TON of power. Rides like a car, but is all truck! In NHTSA crash testing, the Frontier earned four out of five stars for driver and front passenger protection in frontal impacts. In side-impact crash tests, it received a perfect five stars for both front- and rear-seat occupants. IIHS frontal-impact crash tests saw the 2007 Nissan Frontier receiving a "Good" rating (the highest possible) for occupant protection. You would pay $18,000 for this truck at a dealership. Brand new it was $28,000! Recap after full payment is made and before shipping: New brake pads, and rotors (if needed) Tires balanced and rotated Professional detail including clay bar, wax, interior detail, and more |

Nismo smartwatch concept tracks both car and driver [w/videos]
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Whether you agree or not, this writer believes that every supercar needs a wristwatch to go with it. Though the Nissan GT-R has been lacking in this one regard, Nissan is keen to correct that wrong. But while most of these automotive-inspired timepieces are decidedly mechanical, Nissan has gone a suitably different direction in creating its new Nismo watch concept.
The electronic smartwatch connects driver, car, watch and phone in a sleek design. The device allows drivers to monitor such parameters as the car's average speed and fuel consumption, access performance telematics on the track, monitor their own heart rate and interface with their smartphone via Bluetooth and a dedicated app. The watch can even tell the driver when it's time to bring his car in for scheduled maintenance, post lap times and such to popular social media platforms, and of course, you know - literally give you the time of day.
Though still in the concept phase, Nissan seems keen to bring this to market, has even gone so far as to design the packaging - made of tire rubber scraped off the track - and done it up in three colors: red, white or black. In the meantime Nismo will be showcasing the smartwatch concept at the Frankfurt show this week, where we hope to get a glimpse up close, but you can delve into the press release and the pair of videos below.
Mercedes considering Mexico for CLA production
Tue, 16 Jul 2013Would you buy a Mercedes-Benz if it were made in Mexico? That's what the German outfit is wondering, as it considers localizing production of the its new budget model at a factory operated by Nissan, of which the automaker is a joint-venture partner.
According to a report from Automotive News, moving production of American-spec CLAs from Hungary to Mexico would protect Mercedes from currency fluctuations. "Mexico is the best location for the United States," Daimler Chairman Dieter Zetsche told AN. The CLA is also expected to become the brand's volume model in the US market, which makes North American production a logical move.
In the event that Mercedes approves the plan, Nissan would expand the capabilities at its Aguascalientes, Mexico plant, allowing production to begin in 2018.
Ghosn: 'We are getting there' on making Nissan Leaf profitable
Thu, Oct 2 2014After 19 months in a row of record sales in the US, the money picture for the Nissan Leaf is steadily improving. To date (well, until the end of September), Nissan has sold 63,944 Leaf EVs in the US and a total of around 140,000 globally. The company produces the electric vehicle in three countries: Japan, the UK and the US and has sold more standard passenger EVs than any other automaker. Add all that up and you get to an EV that is just about to be profitable. "We are getting into positive, which is good for this technology." – Carlos Ghosn At least, it is according to Carlos Ghosn, the CEO of Renault-Nissan, who spoke to reporters at that Paris Motor Show this week. "We are getting there [to Leaf profitability]," Ghosn told Automotive News. "Are we amortizing and depreciating everything we have spent? No. But if you look at margin of profit – the direct cost of the car and the revenue of the car – we are getting into positive, which is good for this technology." Automakers are notoriously closemouthed when it comes to sharing specifics about the higher cost of alternative vehicle technologies compared to standard ICE vehicles. Still, statements like this – as well as a knowledge about how long it took Toyota to make money from the Prius and overall industry amortization – show that Nissan could well be sitting pretty when it comes to keeping EVs around for the long term. Given some of the other news we've heard recently, it's got to be nice to have some stability.
