2003 Nissan 350z Performance Coupe 2-door 3.5l Clean Title *6 Speed Transmission on 2040-cars
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
| I am putting up for sale my 2003 Nissan 350Z.  It currently has 113,544 miles but that will increase since I do drive it once in awhile. This car is the performance model that came with 18 inch wheels, VDC control, home link system, and cruise control. I used this car as a work vehicle and put approximately 10,000 miles on it without any hiccups whatsoever.  I have done regular oil changes myself every 2,500 miles. This car is unmolested, but does show signs of wear.  It has a dent on the front of the hood where it looks like a truck might have bumped it, the front bumper has cracks and plenty of paint chips from freeway use, it also has a dent on the lower part of the passenger door. This car will come as shown, with 19 inch G37 S wheels.  They have Hankook tires on them with good tread. This car is a blast to drive and has the signature 350z throaty sound that its predecessor didn't come with.  The only reason I am selling this car is because I have my eye on a Mini Cooper Model S, so I can't have two cars. This vehicle is also listed for sale locally so this listing may be removed without notice.   If you search "2003 Nissan 350z for sale" on youtube, you will see a short video of me walking around the car.  It is posted by "Bryce Edwards"  Search by most recent. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have and thank you for looking! I am willing to cooperate with shipping companies if need be...  Or, this is a great excuse to come to Vegas! |

Recharge Wrap-up: BMW i8 markups declining, Nissan offering discounted Leaf lease buyouts
Fri, May 22 2015Zipcar has published the results of an independent study on "Urban Boomers." KRC Research surveyed city-dwelling, healthy adults aged 50 to 69, and found that they are fond of technology and are more active – but drive less – after moving to the city. Many still feel car ownership is important, and often don't get rid of a car they already own, but they find alternative forms of transportation important, too. Even though it is often thought of as a bigger draw for millenials, Zipcar feels that these findings indicate that Urban Boomers are an important demographic for carsharing companies. See the results of the study in the slideshow from Zipcar. Nissan is offering lease buyout credits of up to $5,000 for its Leaf EV. Depending on the region, 2012 and 2013 models get a Leaf Gross Payoff discount of up to $5,000, with 2011 models garnering up to $1,500 off. Some dealers may also offer an additional $1,500 discount. It's possible that Nissan wants to encourage lessees to purchase their Leafs after residual values of the car dropped by about six percent in May. Some potential long-term owners could also be concerned over battery life, or be tempted by the updated Leaf slated for the 2017 model year. Read more at Green Car Reports. Dealership markups for the BMW i8 are dwindling. Actual costs of the attractive plug-in hybrid are nearing sticker prices after high demand and short supply led many dealers to exact a higher price for the car. BMW recently announced it would double production of the i8 to help meet demand, which could be behind the declining markups. The i8 has a base MSRP of $136,500, plus $950 in destination fees. Demand for electric car rentals unplugged by range anxiety
Tue, 15 Oct 2013It's the hurdle that electric vehicles must clear to be launched into the mainstream: range anxiety. But this time it isn't prospective customers who worry about running out of juice, Bloomberg reports, but renters who return to car rental agencies before their lease is up and trade their EVs in for more traditional gasoline-powered autos and gas-electric hybrids.
"People are very keen to try [electric vehicles], but they will switch out of the contract part way through ... they think they can't get to a charging station," says Lee Broughton, head of sustainability at Enterprise. Enterprise customers who rent EVs reportedly trade them in 1.6 days into the rental period on average, which compares unfavorably to the six- to seven-day rental periods of traditional, fuel-burning automobiles.
Christopher Agnew, an analyst at MKM Holdings LLC, says that longer range would help rental customers' range anxiety, especially since they are usually renting vehicles in unfamiliar places.
2015 Nissan Murano could have been a lot more boring to look at
Thu, 19 Jun 2014When it debuted at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the third-generation Nissan Murano wowed us more than just about any other car on hand (that's sort of why we handed it an Editors' Choice for the NYIAS). It's sharp, aggressive design was a dramatic departure from the smoother styling of the second-gen CUV, although it wasn't too polarizing. Most importantly, though, it was a vehicle with actual design presence - you want to see it from every angle, all of which draw your eye with something new.
Of course, settling on the design for a new vehicle is far from a straightforward process. While a design might take shape on a designer's drafting table, there are a huge number of steps it needs to get through before making it to an auto show stage or to your local dealer. According to Nissan engineer Chris Reed, those steps very nearly curtailed the Murano's design before the first die was even cast.
Reed has a full account of this sharp design's trials and tribulations in a must-read story from Ward's.
