This 350Z Touring Edition with a Greddy twin turbo is not for the faint of heart! It boasts 507 rear wheel horsepower without the nitrous and no governors making the only limitations your courage and skills! I personally had this car up to 160 mph on the open highway and it had plenty more to give with it's six speed manual transmission!! At the ground it has Rezax II's 20 x 9 and 20 x 11 wheels with custom finish, Eibach springs, drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk pads. Greddy spoiler, Amuse sides and custom carbon fiber hood and engine cover. Greddy twin turbo with NX nitrous adds power to the already powerful engine with Arias pistons, Pauter rods, Nismo cams, headport & polish, twin pump fuel system. The engine is hard mounted allowing for the copper fuel lines to remain firmly connected without engine movement.

I recently purchased a pyrometer to be installed but haven't put it in yet. The reason I an selling the car is that I have too many cars and not enough time to drive them all, this one in particular needs an owner or an owner with a mechanic who knows how to operate the aftermarket on-board computer system that has replaced the factory computer.
This car was modified from the ground up for high performance, generally when people simply bolt on a turbo system in a 350Z and start driving without further modification, the engine will not tolerate the extra heat and soon fails, this car was built with the additional components needed to keep it running strong. There are approximately 5,000 miles on the engine since it was turned into a twin turbo.

I am the second owner of the car and the original owner bought this car as #42 off of the assembly line when this model came out and put $70,000.00 into the engine and suspension and won first place in its' only appearance at an ISCA event as well as an award in a modified car show as well as a local car show I entered it in. I have since removed the flames from the paint job, re-established the factory hood latch and turned it into a car that wont get pulled over every three blocks for being two miles an hour over the speed limit just so the police can get a closer look at it..  A sleeper so to speak... even though she's still a bit loud when you stomp on the gas :-)  The reserve on this car is half of what it should be and even lower than the advertised price on Craigslist to make sure it sells.

On Feb-12-13 at 11:41:42 PST, seller added the following information:

The Engine computer and display console are Haltech Platinum series / Greddy E-01. The nitrous bottle has a heater on it and has not been put into use since the car already has tremendous performance

Nissan to give Qashqai the Nismo treatment

Sat, 30 Nov 2013

Nismo is on a bit of a rampage lately. Once consigned to the fringes, Nissan has taken its performance sub-brand into the mainstream and let it loose on a whole mess of its products. The Juke Nismo was followed by a 370Z Nismo, and in Los Angeles, we saw the GT-R Nismo, Sentra Nismo concept and Juke Nismo RS.
So what's next from Nismo? According to the latest intel from across the pond, Nissan is working on a tuned version of its new Qashqai. Car magazine is reporting that the larger crossover will get the same 1.6-liter turbo four as the Juke Nismo, but with the RS model's 212-horsepower out and not the "base" model's 197. Expect all the other bells and whistles applied to transform a Nissan model into a Nismo one to apply as well.
If the Qashqai name doesn't ring any proverbial bells for you, that's alright, because it's only sold overseas, where it's one of Nissan's most popular models. The crossover (which looks like the new Rogue but is a substantially different model) was recently completely replaced, with engine options ranging up to 150 horsepower - so the jump to over 200 should make for quite a different beast altogether. Whether a parallel or subsequent program to give the Rogue a similar treatment is another matter, but given the pace at which Nismo seems to be running, that may only be a matter of time.

From Maseratis to rental cars | Autoblog Podcast #511

Fri, Apr 7 2017

On this week's podcast, Mike Austin and David Gluckman are in a huddle room (again), because the studio was already taken (again). We talk about the all-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT (again), as well as the Jeep Wrangler, Maserati Levante, Miata RF (again), and then David waxes poetic on mediocre rental cars (or similar). The episode wraps up with the traditional doling out of Spend My Money buying advice, with some input from an S2000 owner on advice discussed last time. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too. Ghosn: 'We are getting there' on making Nissan Leaf profitable

Thu, Oct 2 2014

After 19 months in a row of record sales in the US, the money picture for the Nissan Leaf is steadily improving. To date (well, until the end of September), Nissan has sold 63,944 Leaf EVs in the US and a total of around 140,000 globally. The company produces the electric vehicle in three countries: Japan, the UK and the US and has sold more standard passenger EVs than any other automaker. Add all that up and you get to an EV that is just about to be profitable. "We are getting into positive, which is good for this technology." – Carlos Ghosn At least, it is according to Carlos Ghosn, the CEO of Renault-Nissan, who spoke to reporters at that Paris Motor Show this week. "We are getting there [to Leaf profitability]," Ghosn told Automotive News. "Are we amortizing and depreciating everything we have spent? No. But if you look at margin of profit – the direct cost of the car and the revenue of the car – we are getting into positive, which is good for this technology." Automakers are notoriously closemouthed when it comes to sharing specifics about the higher cost of alternative vehicle technologies compared to standard ICE vehicles. Still, statements like this – as well as a knowledge about how long it took Toyota to make money from the Prius and overall industry amortization – show that Nissan could well be sitting pretty when it comes to keeping EVs around for the long term. Given some of the other news we've heard recently, it's got to be nice to have some stability.
