the reason for the rebuilt salvage title is due to a rear end collision to the rear passenger 1/4 panel (the most expensive panel to fix on a car) and cost was almost the value of the car to the insurance company so they totaled it. the panel was fixed before i bought the car no visible damage at this time I had no problems whatsoever registering & insuring the car. Drivers side front 1/4 panel was replaced and wrapped instead of painted because I liked the look.  I was quoted $60.00 to paint the fender. The previous owner removed the ac components but I found it not to be an issue as the car has tee tops

The car has given me no problems what so ever....  drives well, very clean, no leaks or noises...  the whole car was repainted and motor was pulled and had a 120,000 mile tune up.   Any part which needed to be replaced  was.....   The car has many modifications that all have less then 600 miles and will come with all the stock parts as well. the reason for selling is because i just simply don't have time to drive the car due to work. this is also my second car so i only really drive it during the weekends and it sits during the week. i am asking $6,300 but negotiable. feel free to call or text me at (516) 457-9769 or email me at thebigp11@aim.com

Nissan: With Dad

Mon, Feb 2 2015

Nissan released a whopper for its 2015 Super Bowl ad, giving us a motorsports heavy ad that featured not only the eagerly awaited, front-engined GT-R-based Le Mans car, but that delivered a tantalizing look at the next-generation Nissan Maxima, a sexy, rakish sedan that shares its styling with the 2015 Murano crossover. As for the ad, it's a confusing yet touching bit about a racing dad balancing time away from his family. We'd try to interpret it, but we're too distracted by the cars. Nissan Bladeglider now on the backburner

Wed, Mar 18 2015

There have been some big shakeups within Nissan's top executive ranks in the past 12 months, including Johan de Nyscchen leaving Infiniti to run Cadillac and Andy Palmer taking over Aston Martin. With them gone, the automaker's future product portfolio looks to be shifting as well. Among them, the chances are dwindling for the BladeGlider to actually arrive in dealers – already a rumored possibility. New Nissan planning boss Philippe Klein isn't nearly as hot on the idea of the BladeGlider as his predecessors. Where Palmer said last year the vehicle was in the brand's mid-term plan, Klein recently told Autocar that the model was "not among the immediate priorities." He didn't slam the door entirely on potential production, though. "It is still on the table, but at the end of the day it has to make sense to the company." Debuting at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the BladeGlider translated the narrow-front, wide-rear wedge shape of the Deltawing and ZEOD RC racers to the street. In concept form, it used an electric drivetrain with hub-mounted motors, and the driver sat in the center with two passengers flanking them to the rear. According to Autocar, the project to develop a production version got at least as far as creating test cars from Ariel Atoms. The BladeGlider's renegade styling hasn't been the only thing holding it back from seeing the road, though. Panoz has a pending lawsuit against Nissan that claims the styling for the Nissan ZEOD RC and the BladeGlider infringe on the intellectual property for the Deltawing's design.

A look inside Infiniti's variable-compression engine

Thu, Sep 29 2016

We're sympathetic to anyone who had trouble understanding what's going on with Infiniti's new variable-compression engine. While we got a full tech briefing on the novel VC-Turbo back in August, the visual aids were lacking. The cutaway engine Infiniti brought to the Paris show fixes all of that. You can thank the little green and pink lines on the cutaway for making the whole idea a little more clear. Click through the gallery to see two lines – one green and one pink – that represent the different strokes allowing for different compression ratios. Remember, the compression ratio is the amount of volume in the cylinder on intake compared to the amount at the end of the compression stroke. Leave more room at the end and you lower that ratio. The length of the stroke doesn't change with this system, but where it sits along the cylinder does. Hence those two lines. The variable compression ratio allows this new turbocharged engine to maximize fuel economy when the turbo isn't needed by raising the compression ratio. It will see its first use in the next Infiniti QX50 crossover, previewed by the QX Sport Inspiration concept that's also on display in Paris, and has performance targets of 268 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque. After, it will migrate to other Infiniti and Nissan vehicles, with transverse front-drive-based applications first in line. Eventually, it's likely to completely replace Nissan's corporate 3.5-liter V6. We'll be poking around the engine a little more in Paris today to try and get some more info. For now, enjoy those cutaway images and those friendly little lines.
