This listing is for one of the most clean 300zx twin turbos on the road. Every part of this car has been improved in some way. Starting with the engine the car has a low mileage jdm vg30dett installed, compression reads to a perfect 165 on all 6 cylinders. Two new garret t25 turbos were installed less than 1k miles ago along with new oem fuel injectors, new oil pan gasket, new intake manifold gaskets, and new ngk spark plugs. The turbos are running through an upgraded front mount intercooler and the boost pressure is controlled through a blitz boost controller that is fiber-glassed into the radio trim. A 2.5 inch Stillen turbo back exhaust with Stillen mufflers is installed. The engine is managed by a JWT chipped ecu. The transmission has an upgraded clutch as well as a short shifter. A one piece aluminum driveshaft from z1 motorsports was installed. The suspension received new struts as well as polyurethane bushings all the way around. The brakes were also recently replaced. The wheels are 17x7 in the front and 17x9 in the rear wrapped with brand new toyo tires less than 500 miles old. The interior has fresh carpet and floor mats along with custom leather seats. A kenwood in dash touch screen with navigation coordinates a full JL audio sound system. Two JL w6 woofers are in custom enclosures in the hatch along with the JL amps hidden in the floor. Within the last few months the car has also received a fresh custom paint job, black with small green and purple metal flakes. Overall this is an exceptional car that is sure to be a collector one day or the perfect toy for somebody

Mitsubishi and Renault-Nissan expand partnership, US will get new sedan
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Mitsubishi and Renault-Nissan have just inked an alliance that might, hopefully, reverse the ailing fortunes of the Mitsubishi brand in the US market. The big chunk of news is that Mitsubishi will produce two Renualt-based models for sale in the US market, and that they'll be built at the Renault-Samsung factory in Busan, South Korea.
The plans call for a D-segment sedan to be followed by a C-segment offering. Based on the cars built at the Busan factory, that means Mitsubishi will be getting the SM5 and the SM3, a pair of handsome sedans that are based on Renault-Nissan's D and C platforms, respectively. These same platforms underpin a number of US market Nissans (not to mention a number of cars from Renault), namely the Pathfinder, Maxima, Quest and Murano for the D platform and the last-generation Rogue and Sentra for the C platform.
Besides the sedan production, Nissan and Mitsubishi will be expanding their joint-venture company, NMKV, which produces Kei cars for the Japanese market. A new, all-electric offering will be born from the partnership, likely based on a Kei car platform. The partnership between the three brands will also lead to increased sharing of technology, particularly relating to electric cars.
Nissan Patrol modified for backseat drivers
Thu, 19 Sep 2013The McLaren F1 is most famous for holding the production-car top-speed record for over a decade, but it also made a name for itself by being one of the only production cars with a central driving position, a feature that's extremely rare. But in the world of custom cars, anything can happen. We're not sure if Dubai-based shop King of Customs was inspired by McLaren or is poking fun at backseat drivers (perhaps the builder or the commissioner just has quite the imagination), but its custom fifth-generation Nissan Patrol (the foundation of the Infiniti QX80 in the US) sports utility vehicle takes the term "central-driving position" to the next level. In the Patrol's case, "central" means that the driver's seat and controls are located in the second-row seating area.
It's a pretty clean conversion - if pointless - and we have to wonder how safe it is to drive such a vehicle. The front seats are now passenger seats, and the front airbags have been taken out and replaced with screens, according to King of Customs' Facebook page. So if the driver's view outside is impaired and the SUV is involved in a crash, you'd better hope nobody is up front. The screens on the backs of the front-seat headrests at least provide views from the side-view mirrors via cameras, the shop claims.
Watch the video below, marvel at the extreme impracticality of it all and see the thing drive.
