I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime. Watch lists are cool for those who are not buyers. The real person will dial my number. This is the pinnacle of the Turbo Z31 cars. This car is one of those "diamonds in the rough" that everyone mistakes for far newer. It is one of the most original and unmodified Z's around ( with the exception of the tires, battery, a boost gauge, belts, and wires ). The 38000 miles have been so softly driven you would mistake it for much newer. Great for cars shows, Z events, cruise nights, or for leisure. Do not hesitate to reach me via phone - 305-302-4617. If the car does no see auction end that is because it has been sold locally, so putting it on a "watch" list will result in a lost purchase perhaps. Pictures shown with varying degrees of light, but nothing is faded, worn, or discolored. Also, the towel over the floor mat is the pics is to protect it. THERE IS NO WEAR / DAMAGE UNDERNEATH. I have a family friend who only does door to door, insured shipping, and will do so at a very discounted rate. Let me know if you need a quote. It belongs on a car hauler. 1985 Nissan 300ZX TURBO - EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS ORIGINAL / UNMOLESTED / RUST FREE CONDITION - NO ACCIDENTS / PAINTWORK. This is awesome 2 OWNER 300 with the 5 speed / digital / leather / power seat w/ lumbar / electronic package ( eq stereo system and steering wheel controls ), T-tops, that is 100% unmodified. It comes from our non-smoking home. It has been meticulously cared for, never left outside in the rain, or driven in inclement weather. For a Nissan purist, it is definitely a great piece of history. Be the envy of other 300 owners when you pull up at Nissan shows. The Cherry Red paint shines like it was still 1985. It was Ziebarted when new, so no corrosion. All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, roof panels, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in super condition. The wheels have no abuse and the Bridgestone tires are like new. It drives straight down the road with zero issues. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. The exterior is a solid 9.5+ / 10. On the inside, the Beige / Tan interior still looks, feels, and smells like new. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and the flooring is crisp / damage free. The door panels, t-top bags, sun shields, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original and not marked. All of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, hatch release, fuel door, and even the clock keeps perfect time. It still has the orig. stereo / orig. speakers. The spare tire compartment still has the orig. spare - never on the ground, inflator cannister, jack, bolts are still in place. The interior is a 9.75 / 10. Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect a "well-oiled" machine would. The engine compartment has never even been cleaned, except for a wipe down. All of the servicing is up to date - fuel injector recall, a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed ( synthetic ) / maintained at the proper intervals, Timing belt and tune up were done. The Turbo engine spools out without issue, the 5 speed engages softly, and it performs on all levels. It has never been driven hard. Of course, The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. All of the other mechanical functions are point on. If you have been searching, most of these cars are beat up, modded, or have a ton of miles. What you pay for is what you get. One would spend twice as much restoring one, and it would not be original. A car can only be that one time. :)

NRG eVgo ready for 'No Charge to Charge' in Atlanta
Wed, Dec 10 2014That loop of highways circumnavigating the city of Atlanta is about to get some fast chargers. And, for those driving newer Nissan Leaf electric vehicles, some free chargers as well, for the next couple of years. It's the new taste of southern hospitality. NRG Energy, which has been expanding its NRG Evgo fast-charging networks across the country, is now going into the Atlanta metro area. The stations, which can fully charge an electric vehicle in as few as 30 minutes, will be located "along major thoroughfares in retail locations." This makes sense, since Atlanta has emerged as a major plug-in vehicle market this year. Additionally, the "No Charge to Charge" program that NRG eVgo helps administer will apply in NRG eVgo's Atlanta network. That means that Georgians who either buy or lease Leaf EVs will be allowed to charge their cars at the eVgo stations for free for the first two years. Other eVgo programs are up and running in Texas, Phoenix, Nashville, Washington, D.C. and the Pacific Northwest. Last month, the NRG eVgo program took over a proposed fast-charging network in Chicago, where charging-station deployments had stalled. Take a look at the NRG eVgo press release for Atlanta below. NRG eVgo Announces Electric Vehicle Charging Network in Atlanta ATLANTA, December 09, 2014 – NRG eVgo, a subsidiary of NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG), is expanding its comprehensive electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure designed to support EV drivers whenever and wherever they choose to charge - at single family or apartment residences, at work, on the road, or even at the airport to the Atlanta metro area. The new network will give Atlanta EV drivers unprecedented access to cutting-edge fast charging technology and bring much-needed EV infrastructure to the region. "We are pleased that NRG has chosen to expand its eVgo charging network in the City of Atlanta," said Mayor Kasim Reed. "Establishing a robust fast-charging network is essential to even broader adoption of electric vehicle use, both here in Atlanta and across the country." Recently, according to IHS Automotive, Atlanta emerged as the second major metropolitan market for EV sales, following San Francisco. Atlanta is geographically large, meaning most people commute to work, and have a need for a sustainable, reliable charging infrastructure.
Nissan's Dacia Duster-based Terrano revealed
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The new Nissan Terrano has appeared in production form after an apparent August 20 launch in India, but the small sport utility vehicle remains sadly aloof from the US market. We've had our eyes on the Terrano ever since we learned it would be produced as an upscale alternative to the Dacia Duster on which it's based, but currently Nissan has no plans to import it here. Blame safety and perhaps emissions laws - the Duster was never designed for our market.
Even with these less-than-high resolution images, it's clear that the beyond the obvious badges, Nissan's signature trapezoidal grille and a slightly altered rear end with new taillights are the biggest visual clues that this is the Terrano, but those with astute eyes will also notice a slightly redesigned hood and blacked-out door pillars instead of the Duster's body-colored items. Either way, it looks to be a handsome, low-cost little brute - the sort of simple and rugged SUV that's hard to come by in today's marketplace.
Game on as Formula One fields teams for virtual eSports competition
Fri, Dec 8 2017HORLEY, England — Grand prix teams could be racing each other in the virtual world as well as the real one next season, and fighting to sign up the hottest gamer talent, as Formula One wakes to the power of eSports. Darren Cox, the man behind McLaren's "World's Fastest Gamer" competition who also saw one of his drivers win Formula One's first eSports series in Abu Dhabi last month, feels a tipping point has been reached this year. The former Nissan motorsport boss, who runs the eSPORTS+CARS virtual team, can also see the day dawning — in maybe three to five years' time — when top gamers are earning more than the lowest paid drivers on the real F1 starting grid. In a wide-ranging interview at a simulator center where his drivers train near London's Gatwick airport, Cox told Reuters that he expected Formula One teams to become involved in next year's eSports series. "If you look at what the NBA (basketball) has done ... they engaged the teams right at the beginning. So 17 of the NBA teams have got franchises for the virtual side of the sport, and there's a draft like in the real world. "So expect something like that to come out of (Formula One owners) Liberty," added Cox. "It's happening now. Those conversations are being had. "This absolutely will be a big priority for them (Liberty), and I believe they have made it clear to the teams that they will be involved, in some way. "And then I guess it's down to the teams about how involved they want to be." Kitchen porter turns champion Formula One's first eSports series was won by Brendon Leigh, an 18-year-old kitchen porter who had never previously been out of Britain. Leigh, who drives for Cox's team and emerged triumphant from 63,000 initial hopefuls, is likely to go professional. Some gamers in other arenas are already earning more than $1 million a year, and Cox said the rewards in motorsport were growing all the time. "If you go back 18 months, these guys were winning an X-box and a free subscription, not any cash. The cash has suddenly come, and I think that will ramp up," said the man who has been dubbed the "Godfather of virtual racing." Cox dismissed as irrelevant the debate about whether eSport is a sport. "It's here, it's got millions of viewers, it's got a commercial backbone that is strong. It doesn't matter if someone in sport thinks it's a sport or not. eSports don't care." He expected all the big F1 teams to end up partnering with outfits like his.
