1991 300zx. Runs and drives great. Transmission was rebuilt by aamco 13000 miles ago. I bought this car a little over a month ago but due to an unforeseen issue in the family I need to sell it. Has good tires no cracks in any glass has a few cosmetic issues but not bad. Right valve cover leaks a little. Exhaust is stock and no check engine lights so should pass inspections easily. Rear defrost works. I'm pretty sure side view mirrors defrost works as well but haven't had to use it. If you're interested I have a guy that will fix the interior issues but we can discuss that. The cruise control doesn't work. Not sure why. I haven't looked into it. Pushing the brake pedal doesn't disengage the shift lock. You have to push the button on the shifter. This is probably the neutral safety switch on the brake pedal which may also be causing the cruise issue too. The t-tops seal tight with no leaks. The suspension seems good and tight. The car handles great and rides like it should. I believe the car is entirely stock with no modifications what so ever besides the Sony CD player. Also the power antenna doesn't work. If you have any questions message me and I can give you my number.  If you decide to ship the car please be prepared to have them pick it up. I work a lot of hours and will not be able to take it to a shipper.

Nissan explains why GT-R LM Nismo is front-wheel drive

Sun, May 10 2015

History and conventional wisdom tell us that a racing car should be either rear-wheel drive or have its engine in the middle (or, preferably, both). Considering this, Nissan's decision to field a front-wheel-drive, front-engined race car at the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans is at least a little bit strange. Why, though? Why is Nissan ignoring literally decades of evidence to the contrary with the new GT-R LM Nismo? As the company's driver, Jann Mardenborough tells it, the layout plays to the all-consuming pursuit of optimum aerodynamic efficiency. Check out Nissan's full explanation behind the front-drive GT-R and get a taste of the company's FWD racing pedigree, in the video attached up top.

Honda may recall up to 1M vehicles for airbag issue, following Toyota's lead

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

It seems Toyota won't be the only one recalling the faulty Takata airbag inflators for long. Honda insiders in Japan claim that the company is getting close to announcing its own worldwide campaign that would begin before the end of June.
Unnamed sources close to Honda in Japan tell Automotive News that the company is pursuing an internal investigation into possibly affected models and is working with Takata to gather more information. They claim that it could involve even more than the 1.14 million cars worldwide that the automaker covered under the first recall for the problem in April 2013, including 561,000 vehicles in the US.
Toyota jumpstarted this process last week when it recalled over 2 million cars worldwide, including 844,277 in the US. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began a preliminary evaluation into the issue following six reported incidents, and started assembling data about potentially affected models from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Chrysler. NHTSA also began investigating Takata itself.

Nissan shows self-cleaning car coated in nano paint

Thu, 24 Apr 2014

Washing the car is an activity like mowing the lawn that some people love and others find to be an absolute chore. For the latter group, Nissan may have an answer. Nissan is testing a nano-paint coating that could make the car wash a very infrequent place to visit.
Shown on a European Note hatchback, the key is a special layer of super-hydrophobic and oleophobic material called Ultra-Ever Dry that is sprayed over the paint. It creates a protective layer between the body and environment, and it means that when dirt or water come into contact with the car, the gunk just sheets away.
Nissan admits that the coating is still early in testing. The key will be if the stuff can actually last for the long term, and the company will be analyzing it over the coming months to see how it will react in different conditions. At the moment, the automaker has no plans to offer Ultra-Ever Dry as a standard feature, but it may make it available as an aftermarket addition in the future. Scroll down to watch the video of Nissan testing the stuff in some very dirty conditions.
