Please see YouTune Videos: 1990 300ZX-TT Garage video 10-21-13

Paint and interior are GEORGOUS, all origional no paint. No smoking or pets, not tracked or raced, I would be difficult if not impossible to find a better prepared and up dated Z32.

The story; Second owner, stock till 36K, than we tuned it with cat back, intake, turbo boost controller... dyno 344 RWH, 386 RWT (std SAE day). new timing belt w/tensioner, steel lower radiator pipe, new hoses, CAS, TPS, plugs, V/C gaskets, EGR mod. etc.
New stock OEM phase 2 Nissan injectors (ethanol tolerant).

Poly urethane sway bar, link and thrust rod bushings, now it corners.
Brakes & fluid, synthetic oil engine, trans, rear end all done.
New tires with non staggard rotatable wheels (not wheels in dyno pic)
Upgraded original stock engine ECM by Concept Z with new triggers, not modified.

It would be difficult to find a better 300ZXTT anywhere. Z32 Twin Turbo without this cars up grades and attention to those age issues is a big job and completed on this car.

Portland Speed Industries (PSI) performed up grades and Tuning (efile with car)

No Special Tuning challenges with this car and set up, Just booast (13.9 psi) solid, repeatable and safe!

Including newly Rebuilt A/C system, compressor and parts, R-12 system so super cold.

This is one fine Z32. collector quality, I drive this car some on weekends so it is ready to go anywhere at speed.

Passed Arizona DEQ emissions 10-21-13
Everything way low, perfect. (paper work with car)

Bose is origional and dead.

2014 Nissan X-Trail is the Rogue's identical twin [w/video]

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Up until now, the Rogue and X-Trail were two different compact crossovers that competed in the same segment for Nissan, except one was sold only in the US and the other Europe. So why, Nissan asked, aren't they exactly the same? Thus, with today's reveal of the redesigned 2014 Nissan Rogue, our team on the ground at the Frankfurt Motor Show also met its new identical twin, the 2014 Nissan X-Trail.
Unlike the Rogue, the former X-Trail was a boxy thing that put on the airs of an SUV, so this new look is likely a larger departure for Europeans than it is for us 'Yanks. From what we can tell comparing their press releases, these two crossovers are practically identical save for the badge on their rear liftgates, both now offering an optional third row of seating and a slew of infotainment and active and passive safety features.
The one thing that may differ between the two are the engines on offer. While we know the Rogue has a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque, Nissan's remaining mum on what will motivate the X-Trail. The prior model offered both gas- and diesel-powered models, which we feel safe in assuming will continue (perhaps opening the door for a diesel-powered Rogue in the US some day). Nissan says we'll know more closer to the X-Trail's on-sale date, which is stated simply as being "next year," whereas the Tennessee-built Rogue will be going on sale in the US this fall.

Watch Nissan's autonomous Leaf in action

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

Getting its semi-autonomous Leaf legalized in Japan was just the first step. Now, Nissan is giving demonstrations of what its fully autonomous car is capable of at this year's Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) show - Japan's equivalent to America's Consumer Electronics Show. To show off the possibilities of its technologies, Nissan had an oval track set up at the show giving rides in an autonomous Leaf to the media. Even Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and Toyota CEO Akio Toyodo caught a ride.
Nissan has since released a couple videos of its CEATEC demos, with one designed to look like a news report. In this video, you can watch the car go around the track and navigate intersections and road hazards. The second video shows Ghosn riding in the car, and he hints that Nissan's goal of having an autonomous vehicle in production by 2020 might be more of a worst-case scenario. Watch both videos and read through Nissan's official press release below.

Recharge Wrap-up: Comparing Nissan Leaf performance by climate, natural gas iffy for trucks

Thu, Feb 19 2015

A new Carnegie Mellon University study looks at the effects of regional climate variations on the Nissan Leaf. The study shows (unsurprisingly) that the ambient temperatures of different regions have effects on battery performance and the use of climate control, both of which affect range. Efficiency and grid mix determine regional differences in emissions per mile. CMU enumerated many of the differences in performance across the US. For instance, on the coldest day of the year, maximum range can be 70 miles on the Pacific Coast, while it is less than 45 miles in the Upper Midwest. These differences in efficiency can also affect adoption patterns. Read more at Green Car Congress. Battery charger manufacturer CTEK has licensed WiTricity wireless charging technology. CTEK looks to commercialize the wireless power transfer tech for use with electric vehicle batteries, making the "plug-in" aspect of EV charging unnecessary. WiTricity's charging technology stands out for its ability for distance charging via magnetic near field. "We are excited to be on the forefront of the next generation of battery charging products for consumers and industry, and look forward to leveraging WiTricity's ground-breaking technology to bring a new level of convenience and ease of use to market," says CTEK CEO Jon Lind. Wireless charging is convenient for the public, but also especially useful for emergency vehicles, which need to be ready at a moment's notice but also keep electrical systems online while the car is parked. Switching heavy trucking fleets from diesel to natural gas could make economic sense, but the environmental benefits aren't as certain, according to a new study from UC Davis and Rice University. Certain regions - particularly California, the Great Lakes and mid-Atlantic regions - could benefit from the switch with minimal investment. "But to have an environmental advantage for reducing greenhouse gas emissions would take significant policy intervention," says Amy Myers Jaffe, executive director for Energy and Sustainability at UC Davis. This would mean stricter efficiency standards for natural gas trucks, as well as stronger regulations for methane leakage. Read more in the press release from UC Davis below.
