Offered for sale is a low mileage, original condition 1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo authentic 50th Anniversary Edition. This car was part of a bulk purchase of vehicles from California and is selling with NO RESERVE.
This car is all original; the paint, the interior, the correct wheels, rear window louvers. The exterior is extremely clean considering it is the original paint. No rust and very straight. The glass is all intact as well as all lights. The T-Tops are in very good condition. The wheels are clean and undamaged. The tires are very good. Overall, a very "honest" car. The interior is in excellent condition, the lone rough spot being some wer on the driver's seat side bolster. The dash is not cracked, the door panels are in excellent condition, the carpet is great. No rust in the hatch area. It does not have the original floor mats or radio. I will be installing a radio from another 1984 GLL 300ZX. The windows work. The doors have NO sag and close smooth and easy. The bodysonic sound system controls are intact. On Feb-27-14 at 19:43:46 PST, seller added the following information: Try this again! Offered for sale is a low mileage, original condition 1984 Nissan 300ZX Turbo authentic 50th Anniversary Edition. This car was part of a bulk purchase of vehicles from California and is selling with NO RESERVE. This is a really nice, all original, un-molested car. The headliner is in great condition with just a slight sag in between the T-Tops. Mechanically, the vehicle is in great condition. The motor runs strong and the transmission shifts smooth. The suspension is in good condition. The rear shocks are weak but acceptable. The front suspension is good. The digital displays all come to life when running except the fuel guage. I will be looking at that issue but do not guarantee it will be fixed. Someone not too skilled with wiring, did some work under the hood which I've started to repair. If I were keeping it for myself, I would replace the ball joints and tie rods. I will neither bore you with accolades nor apologize for this car. It is honest, original, and rare. Approximately 1500 50th Anniversary 300ZX cars were built with automatic transmissions. To answer the question, why am I selling?? I run a business. This car, while very cool, is not the type of car we deal with on a daily basis. We do not "restore" cars or deal with classics. The only work we will be doing to this car is a fresh oil change, tune up, and transmission filter and fluid change. I am selling it AS I GOT IT!! Please feel free to ask questions but be patient waiting for an answer. I will be posting more pics as I get them. The pics show the vehicle as it arrived from California. It was not washed or waxed or vacuumed. It will be professionally detailed before additional pics are posted. We will assist with shipping in every way possible. Feel free to call M-F, 8-6 Central at 414-747-9920. |

2014 Nissan Rogue earns IIHS Top Safety Pick+ [w/videos]
Thu, 20 Mar 2014The 2014 Nissan Rogue has scored a Top Safety Pick+ award following positive crash test results by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The new crossover scored good results (the highest rating) in the group's five crashworthiness checks and a basic rating for front crash prevention.
The IIHS found that the Rogue also performed well in its small overlap front test with a low risk of injuries, and the driver's space maintained its structure well. It was an improvement over the previous generation, which received a marginal rating in that evaluation. The Rogue's optional forward collision warning system was enough for a basic rating in avoiding accidents.
To qualify as a Top Safety Pick, a vehicle must earn good ratings in the the moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint evaluations, plus a good or acceptable result in the small overlap front test. To receive the additional Plus rating in 2014, it must also have a basic, advanced or superior rating for front crash prevention. The IIHS scores vehicles as good, acceptable, marginal or poor, and avoidance systems are scored basic, advanced or superior, depending on the type of system and its performance. Scroll down to watch the videos of the small and moderate overlap crash tests and read the full IIHS statement.
MI man injured in crazy Nissan Titan crash caught on video
Tue, 20 Aug 2013Earlier today, a man from Kentwood, Michigan was seriously injured after a bizarre accident on Interstate 96 outside of Lansing. While he's expected to make a full recovery, it's the footage captured by another driver that makes this incident so remarkable.
The 59-year-old driver of the Nissan Titan involved in the crash was towing a trailer when he hit the median and was catapulted over a guardrail into a local creek. A driver that was traveling alongside caught the entire incident on Vine, creating a disturbing loop of the truck flying through the air, before disappearing from view.
The man was recovered by rescue services, taken to a hospital, and is expected to make a full recovery. It's unclear what caused him to lose control and end up on the median. Scroll down for the six-second Vine video.
Nissan bringing Qashqai, Rogue hybrid to US
Mon, Jul 13 2015Nissan will be expanding its crossover range here in the United States, introducing the popular European-market Qashqai, alongside a hybridized version of the Rogue. Nissan's Kyushu, Japan factory, meanwhile, will churn out 100,000 gas-powered Rogues to capitalize on hot demand here in the United States. The Kyushu move, at least, seems like a smart one, considering just how hot the compact Rogue is. "We haven't hit the ceiling [on Rogue] yet. We have more opportunity there if we can get our dealers more," Fred Diaz, Nissan's senior VP of sales and marketing, told Automotive News. Amping up production in Kyushu will finally mean the end of the first-generation Rogue, though, now known as the Rogue Select. Somehow, we doubt many tears will be shed. AN cites "two sources familiar with Nissan's future product" in its report on the Qashqai and Rogue Hybrid, although both moves are a bit strange at first glance. Both vehicles play in the same part of the market, and are both based on the Renault-Nissan Common Module Family platform. As for the Rogue Hybrid, well, we know what happened the last time Nissan tried to add an electric motor and battery pack to one of its crossovers. Plus, we've heard this rumor before. Nissan, though, seems to think both moves make a lot of sense. While the Qashqai and Rogue are closely related, the Euro-market model is smaller – 10 inches shorter and two inches narrower – making it less versatile, and it wears more handsome sheetmetal. Expect Nissan to field it as such, aiming at buyers that want a CUV for the lifestyle, rather than the versatility, Automotive News reports. There's a lot less information on the Rogue Hybrid, aside from AN reporting that it will hit the market next year. As for potential powertrains, mum's the word. The gas-powered Rogue uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which is the same size as the gas-engine found in the dead-but-still-warm Pathfinder Hybrid. While we doubt it's as simple as a drag and drop, it seems like Nissan's most recent hybrid powertrain is the obvious choice for the upcoming Rogue. What do you think? Will the Qashqai be as big of a hit in the US as it is in Europe and Australia? Is a Rogue Hybrid such a smart move considering the tremendous failure of the Pathfinder Hybrid? Speak up in Comments.
