so unfortunately I have to sell my baby, my life, my pride and joy. Ive had this car for over 10 years and it has brought so much joy and memories in my life. I use to compete in drifting at a Pro Amateur level across the country and all over florida. This car has been and competed in vegas for the Formula D Pro Am nations in 2007, I have done drifting demo all around florida even for the indy500 honda grand prix on the streets of st. petersburg two years in a row 2008 and 2009. It was on a main cover page for modified mag from the 2007 formula d pro am nationals in vegas, I also had two 15 minutes features on octane tv/speed vision on drifting and my car. The car was built in shop by Aero-K garage, a very reputable shop here in south florida that has been in the drifting and 240sx scene since 2006. Its time for me to move on, priorities came up and unfortunately I have to sell my baby which I will regret once its gone but I really do have to part my ways from it. So someone keep the legend on and take over the spot light. This car has a lot of modifications done to it and has over 30k invested through out its years and maybe more. The chassis has around 172k miles and the car has a clear and clean title with NO rust whatsoever. I will start listing the mods below

engine and drivetrain:

suspensions and brakes:
**rare** 1 of 5 in the U.S.A JDM R.Y.O HyperMax2 coilovers, fully adjustable with camber plates, Kazama Tension rods, Tein tie rods with spacers, Custom ter-tech knuckles for more degrees of angle, cusco rear suspension arms and chassis brace, Tanabe Chassis stiffners, solid aluminum subframe bushings, Brand new front LCA with new MOOG bushings, stock from and rear sway bars, SAFETY21 roll cage with custom door bars and seat belt bars added on for competition use, Full Z32 twin turbo brakes all around with brand new pads and rotors, 5 lugs conversion, CNC hydro ebrake locks great, Stainless Steel brake lines.

Wheels and tires:
front: 5x114.3 17x9 +10 cosmis racing wheels(brand new) with 235/40/17 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 race tires with 75% tread on it
rear: 5x114.3 18x9.5 +15 cosmis racing wheels(brand new) with 245/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE760s semi race tires witharound 60% tread on it

CONS:
Like i listed above the roof has tiny dents on it which is totally fixable, unfortunately i had my roof fly open during competition and the only damage it did was dent the roof a little, second, since ive owned the car for 10+ years ive had multiple spoilers on it so the trunk does have a few holes which are covered by white electrical tape so its barely noticeable and never leaks water, three, there is ONE and ONLY tiny electrical problem that my eye hasnt caught yet, whenever i turn on my lights, the tail light fuse keeps popping so i just wired it to a switch and works perfectly fine, but if you have the patience and knowledge with wiring it will probably be an easy fix and again thats the only issue every other lights works with no problems, and last but not least i dont have a speed sensor so the MPH doesnt work but thats a $15 dollar part from nissan and a 10mm bolt to replace on the transmission, i never needed it bc i tracked the car and knowing the speed was never an issue for me

Panoz mulls suing Nissan for ZEOD RC's Deltawing likeness

Tue, 17 Sep 2013

Imitation might be the sincerest form of flattery, but in racing, where something as simple as a car's shape can lead to a competitive advantage, imitation can be a big no-no. That reality is being played out right now, with the DeltaWing prototype and the Nissan ZEOD RC. The two cars, as you can see from the images above, bear a striking resemblance to each other. They're so similar, in fact, that Dr. Don Panoz, one of the big names behind the DeltaWing program, is assigning some legal eagles to investigate any patent infringement.
The similarity shouldn't be a shock, though. Both cars are penned by Ben Bowlby, and the DeltaWing - which will be arriving as a coupe in the very near future - had Nissan branding and power for a not-insignificant amount of time. But for Panoz, the ZEOD RC's resemblance is just a bit too much, as he told Autoweek, "It's been interesting to watch people from Nissan trying to dodge the question, but the fact is that in their own press release they admit that the configuration of the ZEOD is the same as the DeltaWing. And we do have patents, in fact another one was just issued last week. We are in discussions with our legal advisors and we'll see what happens."
Frankly, it's not difficult to see what Panoz means. The general shape of the ZEOD RC, with its wide rear track and narrow front track arrangement - not to mention the headlights mounted over the rear wheel arches and any arrangements not visible under the body - are so reminiscent of the DeltaWing that differences like the shape of its closed cockpit and more upright front end might not prove different enough to avert Panoz's legal action. We'll stay with this one and let you know as more becomes available.

Are you the next Nissan Frontier?

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

A reader of the Phillippine site Autoindustriya.com sent in what appear to be naked spy photos of the pickup that Nissan recently teased first in photo then in video. The shots, one taken from the front and one from the back, have been found on the Nissan Navara Club Thailand forum. The details in the two photos, one from the front and one from the back, match up with the details we can make out from the teaser video, lending credence to the idea that this is indeed the next Nissan Navara, which is essentially the Frontier in overseas markets. Nissan US has reportedly disavowed this as our next Frontier, though; the mysterious photo on Twitter was put there by Nissan Thailand, supposedly the location of these two trucks.
The only other detail submitted with the images is that there's a 2.5-liter turbodiesel under the hood putting out 187 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, running through either a seven-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual. The reveal is scheduled for June 11, which is when we should know a lot more about the Navara and how much it is or isn't indicative of what we'll get with the next Frontier, a vehicle we're still not expecting for some time.

Tesla, BMW and Nissan meeting in secret to discuss charging tech

Tue, Jun 17 2014

It's interesting what's happening in the electric vehicle field. It used to be that BMW and Tesla were competitors. Then – and of course they're still competing, especially in the public mind – they were working together on ... something. Maybe. And now, the Financial Times reports that the two luxury automakers are meeting with Nissan. Again, maybe. The scuttlebutt is that the three companies are interested in working together on something to do with charging electric vehicles, potentially a global recharging standard. Currently, when it comes to fast charging, BMW uses the SAE Combo standard, Nissan uses CHAdeMO and Tesla uses its own Superchargers. The meeting was prompted by Tesla opening of all of its patents the other day, FT says. Speaking during the recent annual shareholder meeting, Musk said he was "more than happy to have other manufacturers" use Tesla's Superchargers but that, "there is no other electric car that can accept anything close to 135 kilowatts." Let's assume the technical hurdle can be overcome. With any potential patent/licensing problems out of the way, these discussions with BMW and Nissan might be revolving around this other angle that Musk mentioned: "They (other automakers) just have to contribute to the capital cost, so figure out what percentage of the time are their cars using the Supercharger network and then they can make a contribution proportionate to their customer usage of the Supercharger network." That certainly sounds like something that could take some time to figure out.
