RESERVE IS $4100 ..... was after this car for 4 years from the previous/original owners. and got the call one day , bought it and it was a wonderful car for me .  it was totally unmolested , woman owned /driven . ( still make up on the seat belt ) . though original owners were from NY , the car was never wintered and I can honestly say that there is no rust . they eventually moved to florida and it was garaged until my purchase .  and is part of my reason for sale.   theres a reason I was after this car for 4 yrs ,  I really want the best for it ,  can tell by the body kit , and tastefull parts I have done.  which all were minimally invasive .  I mean the cars still auto .  the rear main finally went after maybe 6k miles of my use and it has again sat for 2 yrs .  I have several 240's and one I sold a few months back , another I just got road worthy . and I just don't see my ability to get the car where I want it in a reasonable timeline.  so w/o a garage to properly store it .  I just have to do whats right and let it go .im beyond honest.  check my feedback .  ( only neutral was from someone who won my v8 240.  and then didn't pay , or have method to ship.  wanted to drive home with oil leaks I specificly mentioned so I took a 2nd offer. ) .anyways,  im here to answer questions . car is as follows. and as is.  no warranty .

the motor is in great shape...but needs a rear main , and a vac leak dealt with , and the mafs wires got cut so its harness section needs repair...the car has its stock fading paint , and the kit is unpainted , just fitted .all genuine tra Kyoto rear panels, skirts , wing and front bumper.  and a copy super made rear bumper.  headlight housings are carbon fiber and hare well mounted. all is fit properly but front bumper which is 1/2 way there to perfect fitment , which youd expect from a rocket bunny. maybe take another hour by a competent tech to get right.  all panels line up right and looks great.  will need filler work still etc in prep of paint.  but minimal compared to your avg kit. body is super clean and straight,  couple small door dings , but there is no major work needed.   the trunk needs the kid holes welded , and because of the wing the lock assembly needs modified a bit to get the locking plate to fit.   but it works with key until latch is attached right. I replaced the interior cluster lighting with green led bulbs .small crack in dash maybe dime size and center .normal but minimal panel warp , and door panel staples coming loose. 1997 240sx 2 tone grey seats will be installed.

NO MAJOR MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL HAS EVER BEEN MESSED WITH , FOR A 240SX, THATS PRETTY SPECIAL . AND WHY I SAID VIRGIN IN TITLE

ill try to have it running so it can be moved easier ,  but will need transport be it picked up in person , or company . rear main and mafs issues.  why try , especially when im telling you..

jic magic 2.5" stainless/light weight bullet exhaust for na- sr/ka . great sound look. slanted tip. think I have the silencer still.

Nissan and Mitsubishi reportedly working on a 1-ton pickup for the U.S.

Mon, Apr 1 2024

We can probably consider it a testament to how far ex-Nissan Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn veered the conglomerate off the straight and narrow that Nissan continues to restate its global aims. Four years ago, Ghosn successor CEO Makoto Uchida announced Nissan Next, part of the plan's global initiatives to "[Focus] on global core model segments including enhanced C and D segment vehicles, electric vehicles, sport cars," "Introduce 12 models in the next 18 months," and "[Expand] presence in EVs and electric-motor-driven cars, including e-POWER, with more than 1 million electrified sales units expected a year by end of FY23." About 18 months later, the automaker expanded on detail with Ambition 2030, which would invest 2 trillion yen ($13.2 billion U.S.) through 2026, part of which would pay for launching 23 new electrified models, 15 of those pure-electric and planned to hit the market by 2027. It's been a tough row to hoe. Now, at the end of Nissan's fiscal year in March, Uchida announced a revised business plan called The Arc. This would put 30 new models on the market by the end of fiscal year 2026 (March 2027), 16 of which will be electrified. Note the climbdown: Ambition 2030 wanted to put 23 electrified vehicles on the market, 15 of them pure-electric, The Arc wants 30 total vehicles, 16 electrified, eight of them pure-electric. A report in Automotive News says one of those BEVs could be an electric one-ton pickup that Nissan will develop with Mitsubishi for the North American market, as well as a plug-in hybrid powertrain that will power an unknown body style and could also serve the pickup. The PHEV would come first, no surprise based on trends in the EV market. Mitsubishi would develop the PHEV powertrain, perhaps an evolution of the system sold in the Outlander PHEV here and the Eclipse Cross PHEV in international markets like Australia. Bringing a PHEV would give Mitsu a third plug-in model, and give Nissan a second to go along with the China-specific Venucia-brand PHEV that launched last year. Beyond giving Nissan a much needed hybrid to sell in the U.S. — the automaker doesn't sell any here now — it would give Mitsubishi dealers some much needed new product.  The pickup, on the other hand, would employ Nissan's EV expertise. It's planned for our market sometime between March 31, 2027, and the same date in 2031. This could make it a part of Nissan's planned family of next-gen modular EVs that debut after the eight models coming by 2026.

Hot Wheels' 2022 Green Speed cars bring EVs to small scale

Sun, Apr 24 2022

With more and more EVs hitting the market, it was only a matter of time before the new breed of cars would find representation in diecast form. For 2022, Hot Wheels is coming out with a new Green Speed series that puts the spotlight on a diverse lineup of electric cars. The five-car series features a fun mix of EVs from different manufacturers and in a wide range of styles. Some are completely bone stock. For a traditional luxury sedan, there's a Lucid Air in silver, complete with glass (or in this case, clear plastic) canopy. For fans of Teutonic 4-door "coupes" there's the Audi RS e-Tron GT in Daytona Gray. Ticking the truck box is a Hummer EV in a yellow that can only be described as a throwback to the H3. But because this is Hot Wheels, there are "hot-rodded" variants in the lineup as well. Rather than just a regular Nissan Leaf, they've elected to cast the carbon fiber-bodied NISMO RC 2.0 race car. Likewise with Ford, instead of the standard Mustang Mach-E, they've gone with the Mustang Mach-E 1400 drift car. This isn't the first time Hot Wheels has put out a Green Speed series. The line debuted in 2016 but reflected the limited EV choices in the real car market at the time. The only non-fantasy cars in the series were a first-gen Tesla Roadster, a Tesla Model S, and Chevy Volt. Hot Wheels revisited the line again in 2019, this time adding a Tesla Model 3 and a Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo. Hot Wheels also makes other mini EVs that don't fall into this specific line of models. If you want to collect 'em all, there's the second-generation Tesla Roadster concept, Cybertruck, Jaguar I-Pace, Pininfarina Battista, Porsche Taycan, and a Volkswagen ID R. Similarly, Matchbox has released a version of the Tesla Roadster with sustainable packaging to boot. If you must have an old school gasoline burner, Hot Wheels has plenty of options for you too, like, say, this snazzy FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser. The 2022 Hot Wheels Green Speed series should be on shelves at your local retailers now. Related Video:

Full-size trucks are the best and worst vehicles in America

Thu, Apr 28 2022

You don’t need me to tell you that Americans love pickup trucks. And the bigger the truck, the more likely it seems to be seen as an object of desire. Monthly and yearly sales charts are something of a broken record; track one is the Ford F-Series, followed by the Chevy Silverado, RamÂ’s line of haulers, and somewhere not far down the line, the GMC Sierra. The big Japanese players fall in place a bit further below — not that thereÂ’s anything wrong with a hundred thousand Toyota Tundra sales — and one-size-smaller trucks like the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger and Chevy Colorado have proven awfully popular, too. Along with their sales numbers, the average cost of new trucks has similarly been on the rise. Now, I donÂ’t pretend to have the right to tell people what they should or shouldnÂ’t buy with their own money. But I just canÂ’t wrap my head around why a growing number of Americans are choosing to spend huge sums of money on super luxurious pickup trucks. Let me first say I do understand the appeal. People like nice things, after all. I know I do. I myself am willing to spend way more than the average American on all sorts of discretionary things, from wine and liquor to cameras and lenses. IÂ’ve even spent my own money on vehicles that I donÂ’t need but want anyway. A certain vintage VW camper van certainly qualifies. I also currently own a big, inefficient SUV with a 454-cubic-inch big block V8. So if your answer to the question IÂ’m posing here is that youÂ’re willing to pay the better part of a hundred grand on a chromed-out and leather-lined pickup simply because you want to, then by all means — not that you need my permission — go buy one. The part I donÂ’t understand is this: Why wouldn't you, as a rational person, rather split your garage in half? On one side would sit a nice car that is quiet, rides and handles equally well and gets above average fuel mileage. Maybe it has a few hundred gasoline-fueled horsepower, or heck, maybe itÂ’s electric. On the other side (or even outside) is parked a decent pickup truck. One that can tow 10,000 pounds, haul something near a ton in the bed, and has all the goodies most Americans want in their cars, like cruise control, power windows and locks, keyless entry, and a decent infotainment screen.
