2008 - Mitsubishi Lancer on 2040-cars
Carolina, West Virginia, United States
Greetings, I have decided that for the right price, I am willing to part with my beloved EVO. Clean title on hand. All stock except for turbo back exhaust. The down pipe from the turbo is made by Turbo XS. The rest I don't know really know, but sounds AWESOME and brakes necks. Brand new clutch, throw-out bearing, pressure plate, flywheel, transfer case output shaft seal and side ring, rear dif. oil change, transfer case oil change, transmission oil change, end of course engine oil change. ALL FACTORY MITSUBISHI PARTS. OVER $2000 NOT INCLUDING LABOR. PLUS********** NEW AYC/ACD PUMP. $1200. AYC PUMP WAS PROFESSIONALLY AND METICULOUSLY BLED WITH A COMPUTER. ALL THESE PARTS HAVE JUST RECENTLY BEEN CHANGED. SO ALL THE THINGS ARE ALREADY DONE AND YOU WONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. ALL DOCUMENTATIONS AND PICTURES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PROOF. I AM WILLING TO THROW THE CAR ON LIFT AND SHOW YOU. However I am not letting it go so quickly. I do really like this car, but I have a different car I am more involved in. EVO has new tires I recently installed which are Kumho Platinums grand touring all season. Rims have some curb rashes. Paint is excellent. Body is excellent. No leaks at all! Headlights like brand new. Interior in excellent shape. Driver floor mat is kind of beat up. Undercarriage is clean. Brakes are very good all the way around. Engine is very strong. Runs excellent. Very smooth. Transmission shifts no problem. Every gear shifts like butter. However, when you run the car at higher RPM, shifting from 3rd to 4th is kind of notchy. Front lip (bottom bumper spolier) is BRAND NEW, hence NO bottom driveway scrapes. I do drive this car daily, so the miles are going to go up a little bit. If any more question, please call me at 267 471 7720. If you are wondering why I am selling the car, it's not because I want to, it is because I have to. If I had enough $ or won the lottery you wouldn't be reading this right now. I have another car and I had to make a tough decision in which one stays. I have a family to support also and not enough $ to keep 2 cars. My heart and passion is with the other car all though I do have a lot of love for the EVO. And no, for as long as I owned it, I NEVER BEAT ON IT. Yes, it is an EVO and on the highway I would press the gas pedal a little further than it should, but I never did no dumb stuff or hurt the car in anyway. Thanks!

WM Motors releases renderings based on Mitsubishi photos
Thu, Dec 1 2016An interesting gaffe has reared its head as WM Motors has published the first images depicting its new car portfolio. The renders showing Chinese electric vehicle startup's future cars appear to have been based on Mitsubishi Outlander press photos, as discovered by Electrek's Fred Lambert. It is one thing to show mere renders of future cars – that is certainly widely accepted, as the cars are planned to be launched in 2018 at the earliest – but it's the background that gives away how the renders are based on doctored Mitsubishi shots. Details are shared between the Outlander and WM Motors' rendering, with wheels, mirrors and doorhandles directly lifted off the Mitsu; in practice, the comparison shots become a pastime of "spot the similarities." The SUV is said to be designed by a former Bentley and Volkswagen designer, Sam Sun, but it is not yet clear whether he meant the production vehicle to share its decorative rear diffuser panel with a Mitsubishi. Perhaps these were work images never really meant for official publication, as they handily show the SUV's dimensions on the road. In addition to Electrek, Google seems to also be on the game, as a reverse image search on the VM Motor shots produces Mitsubishi suggestions. According to Car News China, which circulated the images, WM stands for either Weltmeister (world champion in German), or weima in Chinese, which means a powerful horse. The company is spearheaded by Freeman Shen, formerly of Geely, and the Suzhou factory is planned to produce 50,000 cars per year starting in 2018. There is talk of the cars featuring Huawei connectivity technology, with the hardware being produced together with the German companies Bosch and Siemens. Mitsubishi signals the return of its Ralliart performance line
Wed, May 12 2021Mitsubishi is reportedly reviving its long-dormant Ralliart performance line, giving longtime fans of the rally-inspired nameplate hope that some fun models may one day return to the Mitsubishi lineup as part of the company's efforts "toward the realization of Mitsubishi Motors-ness," whatever that means. Per Forbes, Mitsubishi dropped this nugget during an investor call in Tokyo on Tuesday. The return of Ralliart after more than a decade in mothballs would be a pleasant surprise for Mitsubishi fans, but don't expect this to indicate a return of the old-school Lancer Evolution lineup — or anything else with four doors and a traditional trunk, for that matter. Don't believe us? Check out Mitsu's own materials: After all, rallying is largely an off-road endeavor, and with modern consumers thirsting for high-riding crossovers and SUVs, it should come as no surprise that Mitsubishi's Ralliart revival will come from that direction. In better news, it appears that Ralliart's return will include new branded parts (and accessories, we imagine), which could mean that even non-Ralliart models will get some post-delivery love. We also wouldn't be shocked (sorry) if the new vision for Ralliart is grounded (OK, we're not really sorry) in an electrification strategy. Ralliart? Perhaps more like Rall-e-art. As a matter of fact, from looking at Mitsubishi's presentation, the Ralliart news followed that of updates regarding the company's plug-in hybrid strategy. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is world's first production plug-in hybrid CUV [w/video]
Fri, 28 Sep 2012Though Mitsubishi first showed us the form of its 2013 Outlander in Geneva a while back, the company saved its plug-in hybrid crossover for this week's Paris Motor Show soiree.
Mitsubishi is quite proud to offer what it says is the world's first production PHEV utility vehicle, a new model that makes use of established technologies within the company. Learnings from the company's i-MiEV electric car have worked there way into a vehicle that can travel up to 55 kilometers (34 miles) on lithium-ion battery power. Two electric motors independently power the front and rear wheels of the Outlander, while the gasoline-powered engine can be used as a generator for the motors, or to power the vehicle directly. The target combined fuel economy for the Outlander PHEV is 61 km/liter, or roughly 143 miles per gallon.
The Outlander PHEV will be introduced in the Japanese market in the first part of 2013, with European and North American markets to follow on. There is no word about an on-sale date, but while you're pondering the possibilities, check out an official video by scrolling down and peruse our high-res image gallery.
