I am listing my EVO which I had NEVER intended on selling. I have too many cars and am looking at getting rid of a few to make room for a new exotic.

Lets start off by saying this is NOT your ordinary evo. It has taken me over a year and countless amounts of money to get the car where it is now. There is easily over 50k Invested into this ride.

I alternate my cars and this car could be driven anywhere. Some weeks I drive it daily. AC Blows Ice cold, Oil Pressure is amazing, coolant temp rock solid on the hottest of days. I am SURE I will forget alot of things in this add but I will do my best to remember it all!

It has the following mods:

Engine/Drive train

* 2.1 Stroker Engine
* Manley Rods
* CP Pistons
* Mildy worked head
* Crower Valve springs
* Ported Intake
* Larger Throttle Body
* Speed Density Tuning with 4 inch inlet
* Kelford 272 cams
* ARP headstuds
* AMS intercooler and upper/lower tubing
* HKS SSQV BOV
* Mishimoto radiator
* Mishimoto breather catch-can

* Megan O2 housing
* AMS turbo-back exhaust
* Exedy twin HD clutch
* Steel braided clutch line
* Hallman boost controller

* Hankook RS3 tires 245/40/18

* Front tow hook

* Beatrush aluminum undertray

I am sure I am leaving things out!

Anyway.......The car has no hiccups....no excuses...It has 4k miles on the build. With absolutely ZERO issues, ZERO leaks, or problems.....As I said. It is daily driveable with the AC ON or off :) In ANY weather....The Interior is virtually mint. I am extremely picky. The only thing making the interior look a bit less than new is you can tell the drivers seat has been sat in. THAT'S IT!

On the chassis Dyno It makes 646whp 550WTQ!!! AND IT FEELS LIKE IT!!!! I have many cars. From a 1000hp Viper, 900HP Camaro, 750 HP Buick T-Type, etc....This car is no joke. It can spin all 4 tires from a roll in 2nd gear on a cold day!

I have never tracked it, just run around on the streets. I have played around with bikes, other friends rides and such and the car always feels like a rocket to me. When the turbos hit this thing plants you into the seat as much as my Viper!

There is absolutely not a thing wrong with the car. I am looking at getting rid of a few cars to make a big purchase. This is the ONLY reason I am selling this car.

Ill say this much......many people that own these cars sell them because there is an underlying problem that gets passed to the new owner. NOT the case here. Somebody will buy this car and do NOTHING to it but drive it for a very long time! It's tuned on e85 and only at 31.5 lbs of boost. We didnt go crazy. AND again, it has 4k proven miles on the setup with zero issues. I own a very reputable business and am well known in the community. I live by my word and am describing this car to a tee!!!

The cons to the car are only cosmetic. And not much at that. The rear wing has the clear coat coming off from sun exposure. It was like this when I bought the car a few years ago. Easily paintible for cheap. There is also a scratch on the drivers front fender that I took a picture of. The front hood has some nicks from 71k Miles and other than that, thats all.

I am not listing this for a fire sale. I dont NEED to sell it, but have found something I would like to buy. I need room! Feel free to call with any questions and I will answer them.

The engine bay and underside of this vehicle are just as clean and sanitary as the outside. No junk, no garage kids slapping something together. It was all done professionally and it shows.

Mitsubishi rumored to plan a revival of the Lancer Evolution

Thu, Jun 27 2019

To the dismay of countless hardcore enthusiasts and JDM fans, Mitsubishi long ago announced that it killed off its sports cars, such as the Eclipse and the legendary Lancer Evolution, to focus more on electric vehicles, hybrids, and SUVs. Rubbing salt in the wound even further was the fact that Mitsubishi repurposed its coveted Eclipse nameplate to a crossover. But now, there could be a light at the end of the tunnel. AutoCarUK reportedly received word that Mitsubishi could be bringing back the Lancer Evolution. There's no official word with the outlet citing anonymous sources, and there's still a cloud of doubt hovering, given Mitsubishi made its near-future trajectory fairly clear. But there could be a smidgen of hope that all is not lost with the tiny Japanese automaker. Should the word be accurate, the new Lancer Evolution XI — as it would likely be called since it would be the 11th-generation model — could get a potent 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder powerplant lifted straight from the hot-hatch version of the Renault Megane known as the Megane RS. The same dual-clutch automatic would also find its way into the Evo, though Mitsubishi would supposedly be left to its own vices to develop an all-new S-AWC all-wheel drive system. The Renault Megane RS is quite the hot hatch, so its power and drivetrain wouldn't be out of place in a new Evo. It produces 296 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. In comparison, the Mitsu's direct rival, the WRX STi, produces 310 hp and 290 lb-ft. But should Mitsubishi proceed, the company seeks to one-up Subaru's limited-edition WRX STi S209, which produces 341 hp and 319 lb-ft. Don't forget, Mitsubishi joined the Renault-Nissan alliance in 2016, and Nissan owns a 43% stake in Mitsubishi. There are even rumors that Mitsubishi could add in a new 48-volt electrical system, which could give the new Evo "mild-hybrid" capabilities. That basically adds an electric motor-generator somewhere on the engine or within the drivetrain that not only doubles as a gas-engine starter and an electricity generator, but a drive motor as well. A 48-volt system would also give the new Evo the ability to house more computing power to allow for more kinds of technology. The new Evo would also utilize the alliance's latest modular CMF-C/D F4 platform that's currently under cooperative development between Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi.

L200 Absolute Concept is the off-road truck we want from Mitsubishi

Wed, Mar 27 2019

Mitsubishi took the wraps off a concept off-road truck called the L200 Absolute at the Bangkok International Motor Show, and we completely approve. The truck isn't just a normal L200 with an appearance package. No, Mitsubishi went in and modified the suspension, added a ton of body cladding and even some carbon fiber. We don't think about Mitsubishi as much ever since the Evo was discontinued here, but this truck provides a bit of hope that one day the Japanese brand could be cool again in America. To begin, Mitsubishi widened the truck's track to make room for the beefy Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires wrapping the black off-road wheels. Then the suspension was modified to give the truck a two-inch lift — it was also given a new shock and spring setup for off-road use, providing more suspension travel. Sadly, Mitsubishi does not say more about it, but we're happy that this truck will be much more capable when the trails get rough. Large and obvious red-accented skid plates are placed in the front and rear to offer some stylish protection. Then check out all the carbon fiber parts on this truck. Mitsubishi uses the material on the tailgate and fender flares. This is not the norm for trucks, nor is it typical of Mitsubishi as of late, but we're totally for it. A big LED lighting package is the last bit that is largely different from the normal L200/Triton pickup truck made in Thailand. We'll hand it to Mitsubishi for this one. The "Absolute" name is even an improvement over the last off-road concept it made called the Engelberg Tourer. Midsize trucks are hot now. This truck in production form could definitely raise some eyebrows in the U.S. with its off-road nature similar to the Colorado ZR2 and Jeep Gladiator. We definitely need something to get excited about Mitsubishi again, especially now with the Evo long in the rearview mirror.

Scrapyard Gem: 2008 Mitsubishi i

Fri, Feb 2 2024

YORK, England — The mainstream EV is still a bit too young to be easy to find in the car graveyards I frequent (though I have documented a few, including Toyota's RAV4-based competitor to the GM EV1), but I remain hopeful that I'll run across a discarded Mitsubishi i-MiEV during my junkyard travels. This might be difficult, since Mitsubishi sold just over 2,000 examples of the short-range electrified kei car in the United States before discontinuing its sale here in 2016. However, I managed to find one of the i-MiEV's gasoline-fueled brethren in a knacker's yard across the Atlantic: a Mitsubishi i. Yes, I traveled to Northern England in January with the primary goal of visiting one of only two American-style self-service scrapyards in Great Britain (that's what they call them over here): the U-Pull-It in York, which is owned by Dallas-based Copart. You'll be seeing many interesting discarded vehicles from that all-too-brief trip, so be sure to check in here regularly. The i (there ought to be an international treaty forbidding the use of a single lower-case letter as the designation for a vehicle model, as well as vehicles with punctuation marks in their names) was built from the 2006 through 2013 model years. Supposedly its name refers to the pronunciation for the Japanese word for "love." In order to meet kei standards in its homeland, it was fitted with a rear-mounted engine displacing just 0.659 liters. It appears that the internal-combustion-powered i was built only in right-hand-drive configuration, so Mitsubishi limited exports to drive-on-the-left places such as Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Kingdom. The MSRP for a new 2008 i in the UK was GBP9,084, or about GBP14,173 after inflation (that's about $17,992 in 2024 dollars). It seems that the i was just too weird-looking and too slow to appeal to many British car shoppers. Today's Junkyard Scrapyard Gem was one of a mere 303 examples of the Mitsubishi i exported to Europe. The i was available only with a four-speed automatic transmission. The engine compartment refused to open, and I grew tired of beating up my frozen fingers trying to force it open in the 29°F chill of North Yorkshire on a January morning Â… so here's the best shot of the turbocharged DOHC three-banger I was able to get.
