2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gs Coupe - Lots Of Extras - Modded - Sound System + on 2040-cars

|
You are bidding on a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The car is naturally Kapalana Black but was plastidipped professionally to a pearlized silver. The dip has held up through a ROUGH winter with minimal damage. Still looks sharp! It can be peeled and removed easily within an hour and will be returned to it's factory black no problem. I have put over $6000 into this car and have upgraded just about everything.
Body Work: Brand new driver's side fender Brand new hood Brand new front bumper 16" Mach3 Black 5 Spoke rims (UNILUG) Brand new headlights HID Kit (Not colored.. bright white light) Plastidipped with a (Black/Pearlizer) mix to create a unique silver Suspension: KYB AGX Shocks/Struts New strut mounts and bushings Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs (1" + 1.25" I believe) New end links Sound System: Alpine 4 channel amplifier Rockford Fosgate Mono amplifier Alpine Type R 12" Subwoofer Ported box for sub Alpine Type R 6.75" Speakers (Front) Infinity Kappa 6x9 Speakers (Rear) Alpine Double DIN Touch Screen Head Unit Properly fused dual amplifier wiring Performance: Magnaflow Catback Exhaust System Megan Racing Exhaust Headers Magnaflow Hi-flow Catalytic Converter AEM Cold Air Intake w/ hydro bypass valve + filter protectant sleeve (AEM) BRAND NEW Exedy MBK1000 Clutch Installed (3/10/2014) New clutch slave cylinder installed (3/10/2014) Other: Changed internal lights from amber to blue by replacing LEDS Replaced any cracked parts of the dashboard. Wired for interior glowkit Replaced blown fuses recently Transmission gear oil drained and replaced with Scott Grey mixture (2 parts Synchoshift to 1 part Redline) Changed camshaft sensor recently New ceramic disc brakes installed in the front in September. EXTRAS! 4 Extra wheels (Stock Rim + Tires w/ 70% tread) New in box: NGK Spark plugs Transmission shifts phenomenally. Engine sounds clean and runs strong. Car interior is a 8/10. Exterior 9/10. Why am I selling it? I need an SUV for my expecting fiance. This car was so much fun to work on but it's time to get ready to move on. CONS: When you install an aftermarket exhaust system the O2 sensor needs to be propped out just a little bit using a $5 part called a "spark plug non-fouler". I own the part as well as an O2 socket just cannot find the time to do it. The car throws a P0421 code which if you google and look on Club3G you will see it is extremely common. The inspection on the car is good until August 2014 and this is not an intense fix. I am willing to do it if I absolutely need to. Other than that, I cannot think of anything wrong with the car. I invested a lot of time and money into this car and I am kind of sad to let it go. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MESSAGE ME WITH ANY CONCERNS!!! |

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is fourth plug-in to reach 100,000 sales
Tue, May 3 2016After what seems like a lifetime of delays, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will finally arrive in this US in " late summer, early fall." What's taken so long? Well, Mitsubishi had to sell 100,000 of the big plug-in hybrids in Europe and Japan first, apparently. You could see the milestone coming, since sales have been strong in the markets where the Outlander PHEV was available, with around two-thirds of its sales coming from Europe, Hybrid Cars says. When we spoke with Don Swearingen, executive vice president of Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) earlier this year, he said that sales of around 200-400 Outlander PHEVS a month (10-20 percent of the Outlander's total US monthly sales) would be, " a very good number." Inside EVs says that the Okazaki Plant where the Outlander PHEV is made, " is running at full swing." As Hybrid Cars points out, the Outlander PHEV is only the fourth plug-in car ever to sell 100,000 units. The others are the Nissan Leaf (roughly 218,000 sales worldwide), the Tesla Model S (120,000), and the Chevy Volt (110,000). The next likely candidate to cross this threshold is the Prius Plug In – it has around 75,000 sales – if we count the upcoming Prius Prime updates as the same vehicle. Related Video:
Carlos Ghosn's lawyers in Japan quit after client's flight to Lebanon
Thu, Jan 16 2020TOKYO — Japanese attorneys representing Carlos Ghosn, including lead lawyer Junichiro Hironaka, quit on Thursday following the former Nissan chiefÂ’s flight to Lebanon from Japan, where he had been fighting financial misconduct charges. Hironaka had been representing Ghosn in his defense against financial misconduct charges. His move, announced Thursday, was widely expected after Ghosn escaped to Lebanon late last month. A second lawyer in GhosnÂ’s three-person legal team, Takashi Takano, also quit on Thursday, according to an official at his office. A person who answered the telephone at the office of the third lawyer, Hiroshi Kawatsu, said she did not know if he still represented the former automotive executive. Hironaka said in a statement that the entire team working on the case at his office will quit but did not outline reasons. He has said before he felt some empathy for Ghosn's reasons for escape, while stressing he had hoped to win vindication in court. Hironaka is respected for winning high-profile cases in this nation where the conviction rate is higher than 99%. Among the cases he has handled is that of Atsuko Muraki, a Welfare Ministry official accused of falsely approving a group to qualify for mail discounts. She was acquitted in 2010. Also Thursday, Nissan released steps it was taking to prevent a recurrence of Ghosn's scandal, and reiterated its denouncement of Ghosn. The automaker said in a report submitted to the Tokyo Stock Exchange that Ghosn had the authority to “single-handedly” determine directors' compensation and such information was not shared with other departments at the company. The underreporting of his future compensation is among the allegations Ghosn faced in Tokyo. In a news conference last week in Beirut, Ghosn insisted again that he was innocent of the charges, which also included breach of trust in diverting Nissan money for his personal gain. He said he fled because he felt he could not expect a fair trial in Japan. Ghosn's flight while he was out on bail awaiting trial means his case will not go on in Japan. Interpol has issued a wanted notice but his extradition from Lebanon is unlikely. Ghosn has accused Nissan and Japanese officials of conspiring to bring him down to block a fuller integration of Nissan with its French alliance partner Renault SA of France. Ghosn, who has signed on an international team of lawyers, has expressed willingness to stand trial in Lebanon.
