1994 Mitsubishi 3000gt Sl Coupe 2-door 3.0l Base 5 Speed Manual 3000 Gt Gt on 2040-cars
Belen, New Mexico, United States
I am not looking to rip anyone off, so please look at ALL the pictures carefully! I will do my best to describe here, but the pictures will show EXACTLY what I am talking about.
First off, lets start with the bad, it needs a new clutch, it just went out on me the other day, other than that, it runs strong, and pulls hard, could use some belt lubrication on the front end belt. and could use two new rear tires, front two are good. The passenger window doesn't roll up all the way, or down at all. in fact it doesn't move, about 60 for the part needed for the window. there is a small dent above the driver side rear wheel that can probably be popped out with a plunger, Tint peeling on passenger window, and a paint chip on the driver door. Radio turns on but does not work. Also Someone threw a wrench through the windshield in a parking lot, Why? I have absolutely no idea. I got a free wrench though. It's patched for now and will hold till you get a new one. Now the good, The title is CLEAN. The transmission runs strong, shifts great and powerful, Engine has a huge amount of pull and this car is fast. The interior is in EXCELLENT condition, tears and rips are almost non-existant. The exterior is also in great condition aside from the paint chip and dent. It just rained last night so the car is pretty dirty. On the picture of the passenger seat, it is just dusty from the window being cracked. I absolutely love this car, I would drop a clutch in myself and fix it, however I have a baby on the way and I need to get something more practical. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask! If you need more pictures I can send some. I will usually respond within the hour unless I'm working. PRICE IS VERY NEGOTIABLE! Make me an offer! I just need a little bit more money for a down payment on a new car. |

2013 Mitsubishi Outlander GT
Wed, 30 Jan 2013I'm not a gambling man, but if there were a pool for an automotive death watch, my money would be on Mitsubishi... Lincoln is a close second. To understand the plight of Mitsubishi, you only have to look at its current lineup; they all just look, feel and drive about 10 years older than they really are. With the departure of the Endeavor and merciful killing of the Eclipse (the Galant lives on, but is on hiatus for the 2013 model year), one of the worst remaining offenders is the Mitsubishi Outlander, which I recently drove in top-level GT trim for this Quick Spin.
If we had a time machine and took the 2013 Outlander GT back to 1998, it would be revolutionary. If we could take it back to 2004, it might be near the top of its class. But in the current highly competitive crossover segment of today, the Outlander just falls short. Yes, the all-new 2014 Outlander is on its way later this year, but from what we've seen both inside and out, the new design would look great in 2008. That being said, spending a week with any vehicle can point out surprising highs as well as lows, and there are still plenty of reasons to enjoy Mitsu's midsize CUV.

Junkyard Gem: 2006 Mitsubishi Raider DuroCross 4WD
Sun, Apr 21 2024Chrysler began selling Mitsubishi Triton pickups with Dodge D-50 and Plymouth Arrow badging in the 1979 model year, followed by the Mitsubishi Pajero aka Montero with Dodge Raider badges for 1987 through 1989. That Raider name sounded so good that Mitsubishi Motors decided to revive it when they began selling a new pickup based on the Dodge Dakota in the United States. Today's Junkyard Gem is a first-year Mitsubishi Raider, found in a Denver car graveyard recently. The Raider was mechanically identical to its same-year Dakota counterparts and it was built alongside the Dakota at Warren Truck Assembly, but it had its own body and interior designs. The Raider was built for the 2006 through 2009 model years, after which it was discontinued due to poor sales (just under 22,000 total). It wasn't as humiliating for Mitsubishi as the Ascender and I-Series (both thinly disguised Chevrolet models) were for once-proud Isuzu, but that isn't saying much. There's no need for us to bring up the puzzling Suzuki Equator here, is there? This one is a DuroCross, which came with lower suspension, black plastic wheel flares and a front bumper that looked skid-plate-like. It also has the most powerful engine available in the '06 Raider: a 4.7-liter V8 rated at 230 horsepower. The 4.7 is a member of the Chrysler PowerTech engine family, which has an ancestry stretching all the way back to the American Motors Corporation. AMC began development of new overhead-cam V6 and V8 engines just before Chrysler purchased the company in 1987, and the 4.7-liter V8 made its debut in the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The 2009 Raider was the last new Mitsubishi pickup sold in the United States, though Mexican truck shoppers can still enjoy mas poder de aventura by buying a new Mitsubishi Triton with L200 badges. Who knows, if it's possible to find Mexican-market Peugeot 407s, Dacia Logans, Dacia Dusters and Opel Corsas in Colorado junkyards, I may yet find a discarded Mitsubishi L200. It was much more intimidating than an ordinary Dakota.
Mitsubishi teases Ralliart concept for Tokyo Auto Salon
Mon, Dec 20 2021Rumors have been circulating that Mitsubishi will be doing some interesting things with its performance-oriented Ralliart brand. And it has launched some special variants in some overseas markets with the name, but that doesn't seem to be the end of it. Next month at the Tokyo Auto Salon, Mitsubishi will show a Ralliart concept car. The company released a single teaser image of the concept, and it has us feeling optimistic. It shows a huge rear diffuser with a simple and stylish Ralliart badge attached. Unfortunately, that's about all we can see. So there's no way of knowing what kind of vehicle is attached to it. Could it be a fancy show car we've never seen before, or a way sportier version of a current model? At least one rumor suggests the concept could be based on the Outlander PHEV. It would certainly make some sense to revive Ralliart with a popular model such as the Outlander, not to mention one that's completely new and representative of where the brand is headed. The PHEV would be an interesting choice for performance, and we'd be curious what Mitsubishi would change to make it sportier. Bigger electric motors would be very appealing, but a more minimal set of upgrades such as suspension and brakes would be more likely. The Ralliart concept won't be the only concept on display from Mitsubishi, though. The company will also show an electric kei car, which is a car of extra-small proportions for a special class of cars in Japan. As such, there's no way it will make our way to the U.S., but it could still be a neat little machine to see. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
